Approved Characters

    Only one of the judges can approve a character, and

    this is done so through a submission through PM.

    Description: 4'5", 12 years old, brown hair, dark brown eyes, almost black when looked at from a distance. Wears brown and black sneakers, brown shorts, tan t-shirt under a black vest. Long thick warm-orange scarf that hides his lower face so just half of his nose and his eyes are visible. A dark brown leather belt with a gun holster for his revolver that is positioned behind him on his right side, also has six loops on the belt for six more bullets.

    Personality: Hardly speaks, but smart and very observant. Rarely lets anger get to him, but never really appears to be happy either. Kind and caring nature, but seeks to improve his psychic and aura powers. He is naturally gifted in the use of a handgun and talent was revealed by the man who adopted him along with a young girl who was also an orphan. Kan wishes to further his skills in order to protect his adopted orphan sister who shows psychic/aura potential as well.

    Abilities: Has a range of 75 yards for lifting or throwing objects or blasts of power, also includes manipulating earth, water, air, and fire (a bit more rarely used, since it is not always availible). Can lift about two hundred fifty pound at the most, but that causes his energy to wear out if used too often, so lifting and throwing a full grown man repeatedly will strain him over about seven minutes. Since he is very observant, but also psychic, he can semi-predict the opponent's next move or motive. When pressed in a tough fight he will use a special attack he created called "Frayed Souls", which is where he unwinds and untwines every thread in his thick scarf up to where it ties behind his head, so that they can be manipulated and used as sharp slicing and stabbing strings. He can adjust the strings sizes by grouping them together to make them thicker. Also very adept with his handgun in which he has had many years of practice from the man who adopted him.

    Weapon: Black 9” barrel revolver with silver lines engraved on the side of the barrel in an entwining pattern. Can hold six bullets at a time.

    This may very well be the only character i will ever need.


    Name: Zackarias
    Title: The Time Dancer
    Class: S
    Skill: He can use a skill he calls, time phasing, which lets him jump a few seconds into the future/past to avoid attacks. He can also teleport short distances, like six feet. He is also capable of jumping dimensions, but it takes him several hours to use the spell.

    Note that this is actually not what he looks like, though it is close. He has a stronger build, and his eyes are green. Also he is a little tanner.
    Weapon: A silver medium sword. The hilt has a diamond set in it, and ravens head and wings set into the guard. Its name is Senventre. Mants is "Travers that which cannont be traversed, Senventre."
    Guardian Spirit: Senventre, the White Raven. A very wise spirit who has been in the world for several thousand years. He lends his power to Zackarias, and seems to be a counter point to Zacks wild nature.
    History: Believe it or not, Zack used to work in a show factory. You wouldn't be able to tell that from his thirty successful arressts, and thirteen successful rogue* kills.
    Position: Field Agent
    Personality: If you didn't know him better, you'd say he had the brain of a nine year old. He is rarely seen without smile, and is optimistic even in the face of doom. If you threaten something he cares about though, he will show absolutely no mercy and will do everything he can to kill you.

    I approve it, but if i need someone else to please let me know if i have to change.

    Then allow me to point out the singular hole in your character sheet: DETAILS. Time is a complex, and largely intangible obscurity. Moving either forward, or backwards through time entices a plethora of possibly destructive variables, that even Zack would be fallible to mistakes. Things such paradox, and the like. Really, there's a lot you need to work out in the field of mechanics.

    Zack just pulls himself out of time and inserts himself somewhere else. So long as he doesn't meet himself in either direction it's fine, so he makes sure the he doesn't go to the same place twice. His first time jump is to the future, then to the past, then to the future. Eventually he can do what he likes because he has the holes to do it with.

    I'm still not fully convinced. Wouldn't time travel capable of altering present events cause an entirely new continuum? You seem to be primarily concerned with how it effects him to be traveling back and forth, but not how reality is altered by such a bend.

    Would you care about that while a log was coming down on your head, or a sword was coming at your throat? I will be the first to admit that he uses that technique to often, so often that his normal blocking techniques are next to worthless.

    On the other hand, he is a dimensional wanderer, so he has solved the time thing long ago. It doesn't cause a new continuum because the time line already knows he went back and forth in time.

    So then his time travel to the past simply follows the notion that going back in time only serves to make things as they were, in continuum, meant to have been. Or, in essence, it really does nothing.

    More or less, except that it means that attack don't hit him. You have to be a seer to see him coming, because you can tell when he is, or isn't, and go from there.

    Still, I say that such a move should be one that is used sparingly. I really don't care how much clout Zack's got around AMS, or how many people he's apprehended. He's still human, and still fallible to making a mistake. Even a surgeon, with PhDs up the youknow, will still lose a patient or two. Arguable, time travel is more complex than performing surgery.

    For Zack though it comes second nature. Aura is the reflection of a persons true being, and this is his aura talent. He has always loved traveling, and he also doesn't care much for defense. Therefor, this skill lets him travel and defend without really defending. It can be used in any way he pleases. Also the guardian spirit within him helps to boast his powers while also stabilizing them.
