A look at death

Thousands die every day, they depart from this world and are on their way.
To a better place; a new home, leaving earth and going into the unknown.

Death comes as easy as falling asleep, some leave the world screaming and others without a peep.
A few of the souls stay here on purpose and a few get lost, they say death brings happiness but at what cost.

No one knows what lies beyond death and it scares us, yet when it's out time we go without a fuss.
We fear death and never want to die, millions are found dead; some knowing and some wondering why.

Our families and friends we hurt the most, when our souls leave our bodies and turn into ghosts.
We dead stay put while the living moves ahead, R.I.P for all of us who lay buried in our bed.
