A light that never goes out

Kilet approached Janis, seemingly ghostlike in quietness, and put a hand on his shoulder.

"You alright? You look a little... not spooked, per se, but a bit spacey." He asked Janis, looking up at the sky. "You've been like this since.... your grandfather. . . . "

 

"......"
Vice was walking through the streets of A World that Never Was. He saw Heartless, and destroyed them. Soon after battleing about 10, they bowed to him in fear, and ran away.
"....Heartless? But.....they've been gone for sometime now......How could this be?"-Vice
"Weeeev been hideeeeeng lord."-Shad O
A strange Heartless walked around the corner.
"What are you? Who are you?"-Vice
"I am one that you must despise my lord, for your destiny lies in anothers story."-Shad O
"Yet you call me lord?"-Vice
"Only because ,yet your heart lies else where, you are apart of this world like all of us."-Shad O
"Like....you? No...I am my own being, I am whole. You, you are only a shadow of the past that has come to haunt the streets of a forgotten world, what are you to me?"-Vice
"....a friend. Trust no one, because no one trusts you. Remember that. Be better than your true breatheren....."-Shad O
Shad O faded into the darkness.
A light shone up above, and then Vice entered another world.
Destiny Islands.

 

"Not another one!" A girl about 15 almost 16 yelled running through the halls of Disney Castle. She stopped at the library door and opened the doors quickly running inside. She rested her hands on her knees and caught her breath before standing back up.

Angel's a pretty normal girl, one of the loyal knights to be at Disney Castle, also was taken in by Disney Castle's current king and queen, so she's almost like a princess of the castle. She's also part of a secret organization, this organization is waiting for the return of the keyblade, and to do proper training for this future hero of light. So far no keyblade has shown up, and with no one protecting the worlds, one by one, worlds have been falling to darkness.

"Angel!" Angel jumped around to see one of the Disney Knights come running in.

"What's up?" Angel asked. She already knew, she knew a half hour ago.

"A world has fallen to darkness again." The knight said. Angel nodded.

"I know, is there a record of the different key holes?" Angel asked.

"No. Why do you ask?" The knight asked.

"I want to go and defend Destiny Island, I still thing there's a chance that the future keyblader is going to be from Destiny Island." Angel said.

"Oh, unfortanetly there isn't one, but I was told to tell you to take a gumi ship to Traverse Town." The knight said.

"Is there a purpose?" Angel asked. The knight shook his head. She sighed.

"Great, I'll go anyways." Angel tld him and headed out the door.

 

Vice walked around.
"Were....am I?"-Vice
"Destiny Island."-??
Vice turned around to see the man from before that handed him his black chainless blade. The man with red hair.
"Who are you?"-Vice
"I am Volex, I am nothing. I am but a figment of a memory, brought to life by the imagination of one's heart."-Volex
"...huh?! Figment of imagination? But your standing right in front of me?!"-Vice
"And that says it all. GO! Find the true keyblade master..."-Volex
Volex faded into darkness.
Vice stood there on the shores of Destiny Island, dazed and confused.
He turned to see someone on the beach shore not to far from him. He started to walk toward them.

 

"Could be better. I'm waiting... I feel like something big is - Hey, is that guy from around here?"

Kilet had begun to speak, but then his attention turned to the bizarre newcomer coming towards them.

"And do you think he is dangerous? He doesn't look particularly friendly..."

 

Meanwhile in Radiant Garden....

Ansem was in Chapel, looked at the old heartless emblem and starred at it. Now Radiant Garden become a heartless headquarters. He also one of the Heartless lords. And people who live in Radiant Garden moved once again to Traverse Town. Soon after, Reveoul appeared.

"Send more heartless to all worlds. Once Disney Castle fall,it will be easy for us to taking all worlds." said Ansem.

"And also, i want you to go to Traverse Town. Find more hearts, find more humans to become heartless." said Ansem.

"It shall be done." said Reveoul as he disappeared.

 

Voltair appeared behind Ansem. He had slowly floated down with his wings. "Have you ever wondered how Disney Castle could fall? After all, the Cornerstone protects that world constantly. In fact, in the entire history of that castle, heartless have set foot there once. And only once. Do you think you could do better?"

 

Angel walked down into the gumi hanger.

"Angel, be careful." A knioght said. She nodded and got in the ship. She smield at everyone. She got ready to launch when the ship then fell down.

"WHOA!" She yelled falling. Once out she did a 360 degrees turn in the ship. She blasted off. She saw Traverse Town approaching in the distance. She landed the ship and surprised to see all the people.

"They're all from Radiant Garden." Angel said to herself. He walked up the stairs in the first district and headed to the third District. She stopped and she sensed something. Suddenly 10 heartless, just regular shadows, showed up. She hopped back and looked at them. She pulled out her staff.

"Not cool!" She exclaimed. She wasn't trained to fight heartless yet, nor did she have the power to.

 

"We shall do better. We are much stronger now then we were before."-Shad O
Shad O came from behind a corner.
"I was there last time the Castle fell....we are much stronger now. They don't even have that last bit of light left in them, they have no keyblade master...weeeeee will suceeeeeed."-Shad O

(Destiny Islands)
Vice approached the 2 on the shore.
"Hello. I am Vice, who are the two of you?"-Vice

 

"Naturally. I have heard that someone do it by went to the past. But that is the old story. We could just simply use somebody from the light to destroy it." said Ansem. Then he looked to Voltair. "But the problem is, who would be used to do the scheme? Beside that all that thing matters, the Cornerstone's light should be almost gone... we should do the old tactic.."

"Or do you have any better plan in mind?" asked Ansem.

 

"May I propose a plan? I know of one who is a bearer of light and a bearer of darkness. He may be able to sneek in and destroy the Cornerstone for us. That way the strongest world of light will be at our heels. hm?"-Shad O

 

"Now that you have mention it, Maybe that should do for our first plan." said Ansem when he looked to Shad O. "Rendezvous with the person that you spoke off, and do whatever you want to obliterate that place." said Ansem.

"As for you, Voltair. You should go to Destiny Island and make sure that wretched place to be completely darkness." said Ansem to Voltair.

"We have 3 worlds that must be obliterated or else. Disney Island, Traverse Town, and Destiny Island. The rest of them would not be dangerous for our schemes. Report to me if your mission is done." said Ansem

 

"Yesssssss sire."-Shad O
Shad O faded into darkness.
HE re-appears in A World that Never Was. Shad O walks towards the tall building (were Xemnas and Sora fought, and were Roxas and Riku fought).
Shad O looks up, to see a man with two keyblades standing atop the tower. He looked down upon Shad O, and dove at him.
Shad O turned around, and jumped backwards, summoning a fake keyblade (oblivion), and flipping back to block the person who dove's attack.
Shad O was knocked back about 20 feet, while the "diver" landed on his feet smoothly.
They staired at eachother.
"Its is good to sssssee you again Volex."-Shad O
"QUIET FILTH!! You dare show your face in front of me again....how pitiful. What do you want this time?"-Volex
"We have already taken the front gates of Disney Castle, and the world itself will bow to ussssss....but the Cornersssstone of Light hassss become a problem. We need you to rid the enemy of it."-Shad O
"Hm....you have truly joined them? If only Sora could see you now...what you've become....is there any pride in you Shade? You have fallen from the peak of what is one of us....maybe you've forgotten who you truly are...?"-Volex
"........"-Shad O
"Maybe you've forgotten what your role is....maybe you've forgotten how it feels to be nothing."-Volex
"Quiet fool! Just because your stuck in there doesn't mean the rest of us must suffer!!"-Shad O
"Hm....maybe it doesn't. I will comply with your will....for now. But when time comes for you to do the same for me Shade, I want no complaints."-Volex
Volex dissappears into darkness.
Shad O, confused and angered, disappears into the darkness as well, and re-appears to Ansem.
"He'll do it Anssssssssem. He's on hissssss way now."-Shad O

 

Voltair reached out to his side. Darkness formed around it, and a jacket appeared in his hands. He put the jacket on and opened up a portal. He walked through it to Destiny Islands.

He appeared on the beach. "Hmm... Everything looks fine. Let this be quick. The less harm I cause, the better." Voltair flew up in the air and started flying towards the island with the keyhole.

 

"Good. Now just wait until time tell what would happen next. Beside, anything could happen." said Ansem. He looked to Shad O and said, "Right now, you're free to do anything. Use that time wisely." shortly after he walked to his room and looked to Ansem Reports 9.

Ansem Report 9

Simply astonishing! Today I had a guest from another world. He is a king, and his vessel is built of the material that composed the meteors. He called the pieces "gummi blocks". It seemed that my opening the door has opened a path to interworld travel.
We talked for countless hours, but one story in particular caught my interest: that of a key called the "Keyblade". The Keyblade is said to hold phenomenal power.
One legend says its wielder saved the world, while another says that he wrought chaos and ruin upon it. I must know what this Keyblade is. A key opens doors. It must be connected to the door I have opened.​

"Keyblade... Fascinating..." said Ansem.

 

Voltair noticed a light shine off to his right. He turned and saw what happened. "Oh wow..." He chuckled to himself. "I come here to send this world to darkness, and a keyblade warrior has been revealed. Talk about great timing. Great... Now I need to save somebody." Voltair reached the island and went into the Secret Place. The door was there, the keyhole fully showing. Voltair's keyblade appeared in his hand. Voltair walked up to the keyhole and stabbed it with his keyblade. "Now that it is unlocked, let's hurry. That kid might come over here." Voltair's hand started gathering darkness. He shot the darkness straight into the keyhole. "5 minutes to get them off this world." Voltair flew off of the island and headed towards where Janis was.

 

Kilet looked frightened, for the first time in his life, as he followed Janis.

"What... what in the world were those?!" He asked, still shaking from seeing the creatures for the first time.
