A few questions to KH-educated people

    WARNING: Following post may contain spoilers!

    I have a few questions regarding Kingdom Hearts:

    1. There are only supposed to be two Keyblades, with the whole "Keyblade's chosen one" thing. And yet, there's more than just Sora's and Mickey's: Roxas had two (and neither one was the same one Sora had since Sora was actively using his at the time that Roxas had the Oathkeeper and Oblivion), Kairi had one, Sora has one (but can wield two through use of the Drive forms, however, I write that off as his Keyblade splitting into two, so I digress), Mickey has one, Riku/Ansem had one towards the end of KH1, and I've been told that Riku's current weapon (Way to the Dawn, I think it's called) is a Keyblade. That makes a grand total of SEVEN Keyblades. Is there any explanation as to why?

    2. They keep saying in KH2 that Nobodies don't exist. How do they not? o_O They spent half the game getting in Sora & co.'s way. If they don't exist, explain to me why my triangle button feels abused and why it's blaming Demyx and the Berserkers for said abuse.

    3. Namine is Kairi's Nobody. But Kairi never became an actual Heartless; that is to say, she did not leave behind an empty shell because she never actually left. She had her body throughout the entire game. So how was she able to produce a Nobody? I've been told that her Nobody was created because Sora turned into a Heartless and Kairi's heart was in Sora's body, basically meaning that his Nobody is also her's. However, there is a flaw with that theory; he already produced his own Nobody. He didn't leave behind TWO empty shells, he left behind ONE; his body. So I can't see a logical reason as to why he would be able to produce two Nobodies with only one empty shell. Anyone mind explaining this to me?

    Sorry for the long questions; these are just things that have been bugging me.​

    I THINK I might be able to fill it in (briefly, I'm in need of a KH education =\)
    I'll have spoilers for some people and will put them in between "*"
    Highlight to see.

    1. Roxas has 2 because *He "absorbed" Xion in Days and so now he can wield 2 Keyblades since she/he was able to carry one of her own*. Also it really is one since he "splits" one into two or something like that, so really it's one actual Keyblade he has. When he has 2, you see it as Oblivion and Oathkeeper because (this is what I think)*Xion is a clone/copy/doll created from Sora's memories and his strongest memories were of Kairi and Riku I guess thus resulting in the Oblivion (Riku) and Oathkeeper (Kairi)*.
    Kairi's Keyblade is not hers but it is Riku's. He did the Dual Wielding Splitting thing and let Kairi Borrow it temporarily.
    Sora, same story but under influence of his Drive Form.
    Mickey, Yes, he's a master but does not dual wield.
    Riku-Ansem, No. That wasn't a true Keyblade (I think)
    Riku's, Yes, he has one. I mean he was the Original Keyblade Master before Sora.
    Sum it all up
    Roxas has 1, Sora has 1, Riku has 1 and Mickey has one. There's four in total for the main KH story line.

    2. I guess it's more of a metaphorical they don't exist as in they shouldn't exist but they do exist physically?

    3. When Kairi's heart was within Sora, Kairi was the other empty shell? Just a guess.


    These are just my guesses (with a bit of my own research) so of course some things may be off. Take note that I will be corrected (I think =p)

    wait, why can't they just be able too weild two at the same time? why does it have to split, there are numores keyblades i dont like how everybody says it's spliting.

    1. First off, the flower keyblade, Ture Heart, they say tha that's not hers, (Don't ask me why.) In BBS, MX dark apprentice keylbade is Way to The Dawn, so I guess it went down to Riku since it is a dark keyblade. Sora was able to dual wield keyblades because of his friends, but with Roxas, I'm not sure. I'm guessing it's the same thing with him since he's friends with Axel & Xion.

    2. Noboides don't truly exist. Yen SId said that. They are destined to return to darkness (Except Namine & Roxas. Kairi & Sora are a part of the realm of light & Sora using Kairi's heart that's pure of light is evidence that made this possible.) Nobodies are born after the heartless is made from stealing the person
    s heart. The soul & body forms after it's heart gets stolen. Just like the heartless, they use the corridors of darkness. You use reaction commands against the heartless (I think you do thata in KH too.) so using reaction commands against the nobodies is the same thing.

    3. Let's go back to KH first. Sora found Kair on Destiny Island, she disappears (That's when Kairi's heart when into Sora right there.) Sora's adventures begins. Kairi is a empty shell, she's a princess of heart to unlock Radient Garden's keyhole, Sora fight off Riku being possessed by Ansem, Sora used the keyblade formed by the hearts of the pure light princesses, Kairi's heart leaves Sora, BAM! That's where Namine was starting to born. Kairi never did became a heartless. Her heart didn't go to darkness since she's pure of light & went into Sora's instead. That's another reason why Namine's powers is based on memories.

    Anyways, SOra became a shadow heartless, follows Kairi, Donald, & Goofy, Kairi realized that it was Sora, other shadow heartless jumps her, she protects Sora, Sora used Kairi's light, & BAM! Sora's back, & Roxas became a nobody without Sora's memories. Do you need more info Reika?

    GrandShadow I accept your challange.

    Keyblade question) Roxas can use the keyblade because he is Sora's Nobody. He uses Oathkeeper & Oblivion because they represent Sora's memories of Kairi and Riku respectively. As to why he can use two, Rawr is right, highlight his white text spoiler to see. He's also right about Kairi getting one. It's Riku's but he split it and gave one to her so she could defend herself. Mickey's Keyblade is from the realm of darkness, so it goes by different rules. Riku/Ansem didn't have a Keyblade in KH1. If you mean the black one then no because thats a fake created from 6 of 7 hearts of the PoH. As for Riku in KH2, well it's complicated. He was supposed to get the Keyblade Sora has but since he gave into darkness he didn't. In KH2 the machine Diz/Ansem used wiped away all of Riku's darkness when it exploded. He was then able to use a new Keyblade(Way to the Dawn) which formed from his blade, Soul Eater.

    Nobody Question) Nobodies don't really exist, that's because they're not Light or Dark but inbetween both. By KH logic inbetween means doesn't exist. Screwed up but thats the KH logic.

    Namine Question) No clue, but SB's theory sounds right.

    @SB: there were no reaction commands in KH1

    Ah, I get it now. ^^ The Keyblade thing is still a bit confusing since, up until KH2, I thought only two Keyblades were supposed to be in existance, and now everyone has one. XD (an exaggeration, of course, but it DOES seem like all the main characters have one).

    Shadow - I know WHY Roxas can use one. What I didn't understand is how he could use the Keyblade when Sora was already using it. Roxas had the Keyblade when Sora was already actively using it, so I didn't understand how Roxas could be using the same Keyblade. I was under the impression that there were only a couple of Keyblades in existance, and I had thought that the Keyblade Roxas used was the same one Sora uses, hence why I was confused. ^^​
