It is pretty intense. Considering that said uber badass is one of the best RPers I've known, and the guild we've got going has gotten someone who I suspect is a well known face in RPing on another site or two.

The witchcraft of roleplayerguild, and the uber badass there that is known as Rilla. lol. I'm not sure how to apply his continuum over there though. I mean, the guild he's going into his pretty much designed for the sake of building on stories and character relations (more specifically, the personal friction between its members). I'll finish up with our thing here before that happens though. I figure it would fit pretty well with the whole on the run thing I've got going for him though. And it'll be a good way to kill some time with him too, I think, and build him up more (as well as get more intuned with using him).

I'm contemplating entering Glyde into a guild on another forum. lol. He's probably gonna get wasted there though.

Well you said you were gonna be awaiting that PM from me. That's all I'm saying. And like you've already said, the RP is all about collaboration, and I'll be wanting your opinion on how I present it to the forums.

My computer is being a bane of my existence at the moment. Really fritzy and whatnot. So I can't quite get anything on Gearsarcana to you, or even started for that matter, until I've actually fixed the issue, or found some alternative.

So long as evokers can't summon up some wild metaphysical phantasm thingies that can suck out souls from bodies, then that's cool. Maybe limit the number of beasties that they can have as summons, and maintain them to reasonable physical manifestations. Like mild sized dragons and such. The "essence" of a beast would be housed within the crystal the summoner uses.
Spell Casting then would be mostly elemental, but for the sake of balance, it takes certain crystals to channel for certain elements and a person can typically only utilize one or two elements in mastery/proficiency. When I say "Harry Potter esque," I speak more to the idea of spells with more finite effects. As I said, things like casting a spell that can impede a person's motor functions, keeping them from moving for short periods of time, and whatnot. That as opposed to elemental spells which more or less have a wide-scope effect that can simply be differently.
