The creature summoning sounds good. And the whole 'mastery' thing makes sense. Just like one man can master a particular type of gun! Balance in progress!

As for finite effects, I'm not sure what you mean in that "opposed to". Wouldn't a guy be able to fire a few bolts of electricity from a staff and be done with it?

Keyblade war. Arcanus wants kingdom hearts power and he needs Sora's heart(and Junko's technically) just have you characters lead the keyblade warriors of darkness into battle

And the Evokers with their beasties will counter the gyrocopters that are bound to come.. Although, elementals I'd say would be semi-autonomous. And probably a counter for clockwork golems.

That's where the GM steps in. Although, creature evocation should be limited to the caster's will. I forgot to put that in. /facepalm.

And techies won't be outclassed easily. The fact that guns are only limited to the amount of ammunition on hand is a leveler on its own, while the crystals are limited to the user's energy.

Prologue - Daily life, the universe of Gearsarc is filled with stuff. Basically, setting the stage. Prologue ends with conflict beginning. The prologue will continue as long as the players make it, although feel free to *ahem* nudge things into place.
