Hmmm... have you heard of the Gone series by Michael Grant? It's the same man who co-wrote Animorphs. It's a really good series and it's on book 3 so far. It starts with Gone, then goes to Hunger, and now it's on Lies. It's a great series it has some fantasy elements that really got me hooked. :]
I've never heard of that series actually. I'll look them up though.
