Basically, it's to fool Glyde into thinking that she's standing right there.

No, there is only her facing the mirror facing the door. The second one is there only to show that she is actually 'standing' outside the office and not faking it. If she were faking it badly, then Glyde (Who knows the layout) would be able to see the hallway extending behind Malisa as opposed to the wall that should be there. The second mirror reflects a wall, making it look like Malisa is standing in front of one.

And the unactivated Blast spell. All shields and weapons are actually off at the moment.

By the way, she still has a Basis shield to her left, where the main doors are.

Alright, so let me clarify.

The original mirrors are unchanged. Malisa is at the T intersection of the hallways, the bottom part of the T being the main hallway.

There is one large mirror in front of the door, outside of the office where the window broke. Exactly behind it is an unactivated Basis spell.
- The large mirror is reflecting Malisa in it.
- Since it is outside the office, Glyde would only see Malisa's figure.

Malisa is standing up and facing said mirror. However, this ploy would be found out, as Glyde knows the layout of the place and would know that there isn't a hallway in front of the office.

A second mirror is placed behind Malisa, reflecting the wall to her right, to avert this problem.

One more thing - Glyde wouldn't have known that she had normal mirrors. Only the magical ones that you can't see around corners with.

So he's kinda to the side of it? If it's the side closer to the door, then it will (try) to be a direct hit. If it's the side further away from the door, then it will graze/take out a chunk of the pillar.
