While age does have something to do with it, that's not what I'm talking about. If you're going to have your character dual-wield swords it'll have to be short swords. You mentioned something about about a shield? If you meant wielding a weapon and a shield that's fine. The way you're going on it sounds like you want two swords, not a sword and shield. A long sword and shield is a perfectly acceptable combo (though I wouldn't really call it dual-wielding).

I know... I looked it up. Like I said we don't know if Link is the height of the average male because for all we know the people of his world(s) are shorter than what the normal male is here. If he's the same height as a normal male, then it's a no go because the sword would be too heavy to wield realistically in a fight. In this RP your character won't be well trained to the point where he can dual wield. As another point your character won't likely be in situations where he'll even need to wield two weapons.

I'm not sure what the length of that blade is. If Link were the average male height, then no. The weight for swinging with one hand would be enough to leave openings. However if link is shorter than your typical male by about half a foot, then maybe. But then it's more like a short sword anyways.

I don't see anything wrong with combining specific traits like a rogue with a knights code, however realistically in battle dual-wielding long swords would be a bit tedious and leave you open to attacks. Besides in this RP I'm not looking for characters who are proficient in their areas. This is mainly about beginners being thrusted into a journey where they are forced to grow.

Of course! Though you won't be able to use magic, you can most definitely use either of those classes.
