I've heard of Emarosa but none of their stuff, I'll take look at them as well as the bands you mentioned as soon as my Bandwidth comes back.

I started off being with the populous liking pop, then went off and headed into the "gangster" theme when I was about 12 and quickly grew out of that =P
After that it's been Oldies from the 60's to 80's with Bands like the Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols and Styx.
Still am now but I've taken a taste to a lot of things but the rap of today (like Beasty Boys were considered "rap" but I found them pretty cool singing about being awesome, today it's "booty" jargon). On my Laptop I have Metal bands like Parkway Drive and BMTH, some folklore/metal/punk like Equilibrium and Flogging Molly, OST's from anime's, Tacky Japanese music,, things that make you rave/dance and some rock like Rise Against.

It's not an entirely huge list since I only can put 30gb of data on my laptop and I am limited to resources since I've moved as well (friends were my resources =P)

On my old PC (before it exploded >.<) It had a number of bands I never heard of but then started to enjoy.
Cat Empire being one of them. It was an old hand me down PC spammed with songs downloaded by many people who used it so there was a variety of taste on it. Since about the start of this year, I haven't seen/heard many different bands lately =\
