Well when I used to live there (3 years ago) it was near impossible not to get wet...
But where I live now, there;s supposedly a drought warning thing but the dams seem to be recovering now ^^

Well it's pretty much continuous rain all year round there XD
A place nearby Innisfail called Tully is the wettest area in Australia, Everytime we went through that town it was raining =S

Dandy, but it's freezing since the sun just went down >.<
The weather here goes from the morning >Freezing>Hot>Freezing at night. It kind of balances itself out =P
