yeah I have a job through the school for the morning, then night shift at work. It's gonna suck but be good at the same time.

I have the picture with me and Luffie in my albums along with me posing with this smexy lady, but the poses with Luffie I probably won't get for another week or so.

I know that feeling. I'm gonna have that this summer cause I'm gonna be doin double shifts

Well, it all started when I first arrived at the convention center with my American friend. Unbeknownst to her, we were having strangers take pictures of us. Not too many so ignored it. We later saw this awesome injured Luffie cosplayer who was friends with one of the Chinese host students. After taking a picture of her, her friend practically pushed me to take a picture with her, where we posed awesomely. Suddenly, a wild crowd appeared, all flocking to get a sight of the black American kid with their favorite anime protagonist, Luffie! (Now before I continue, I want you to know that when it's just me and a few others I joke about how Chinese people love us and how we should make ridiculous poses and whatnot) So since my friends began cheering me on, I gave the crowd the gift of the Tebow! They marveled and stared with amazement as I had begun to give them their on show of sorts in the form of poses. This led to Luffie getting jealous and making a pose to be apart of my act.

There was practically nothing to do and there were very few places to buy stuff from. And the selection of food wasn't very good, and you couldn't leave the convention to eat then come back even though they gave you tickets with stubs, defeating the purpose of having a ticket. I did learn that One Piece is HUGE in China, they sometimes won't even ask for someone who is cosplaying to stop for a picture and will just take a picture of them or will record everything, and..I'm a celebrity. Yeah, be jealous :cool:

xD Not much. Went to that Chinese anime convention yesterday. Eh, it was pretty boring. Otakon for the win :p
