Crimson Gaurdian - Final Fantasy VII

As we know Genesis awoke at the end of Dirge of Cerberus, This is the story of Genesis's destiny. Discover why Genesis has been awaken. New and old enemies and friends await.

This story is unique, It is written like a story but occasionaly a boss battle will happen. I will write the boss battle in a strategy guide form, however the rest of the story is written in a story fashion. I'll probably write the first chapter tonight or tommorow morning.

Prolouge:

Vincent Valentine had just stopped Omega and saved the planet. Weiss fell from the sky unconsious and landed in the flooded cavern under Midgar. Also in the cavern was a man dressed in red, the gaurdian of the planet, Genesis Rhaphsodos, sleeping within a bubble of holy water. The bubble exploded and Genesis was freed. He looked at his surroundings and noticed Weiss, a man that he met not to long before he sealed himself within the cavern. He remembered Weiss had asked him to join the Tsviest and overthrow the restrictors. However Genesis had declined and waited in the cavern until the planet needed protecting. Genesis picked Weiss's unconsious body up and looked at the full moon up above, "It is not yet time sleep. There is still much work to do brother." He refered to Weiss as his brother due to the fact that Weiss and all the other Tsviest had their genes spliced with Genesis's genes. Genesis knew Minerva, the goddess of the planet must have sensed danger to the planet and so she awoke Genesis. Genesis knew he had to find Minerva, so he sprouted his single black wing and took to the sky, his destination was Banora.

So their is the prolouge, Expect the first chapter tonight or tommorrow morning.

 

Chapter 1 - The Town of Apple Trees

Genesis was carrying Weiss and trying avoided the weird flying craetures that were attacking him. He was floating above Banora when one of the creatures knocked Genesis from the air. Weiss's body fell near the beach while Genesis fell down a cavern that led to the underground area where he battled Zack 3 years ago. Genesis fell unconsious in the cavern after having a rough landing. He awoke only moments later, and witnessed part of the lifestream taking on the form of his sword. Genesis grabbed his sword and whispered to himself, "Only Minerva could have sent me this sword." Genesis turned around to see a 3 strange lizard like creatures. He noticed each one of the monsters had and "S" on their left shoulder but he ignored it and killed the 3 monsters.

Genesis knew he had to find Weiss and soon. So he battled his way through the cavern fighting more creatures with "S" on their shoulders. When he finally reached the crater that led to the above ground, he encountered a large spider creature that had an "S" on it's back.

After deafeting the S-Arachnide Genesis climbed up the crater using spear rope and fought of a hoard of monsters until he reached the beach.

When Genesis arrived at the beach he was shocked to see a Behemoth with an S on it's sides. "Damn it." Genesis said as he moved between the Behemoth and Weiss's body.

Upon deafeting the S-Behemoth Genesis's head started to hurt, an image of Minerva screaming in pain and telling Genesis to go to Midgar flashed in his head. Genesis returned to reality and looked confused, "Minerva, what is happening to you?" He whispered. Genesis picked Weiss's still unconsious body up and sprouted his wing. He began flying off toward Midgar.

Chapter 2 - The Ruined City

When Genesis arrived at Midgar he was shocked to see the entire city was in ruins, "What the hell happened to Midgar?" He whispered. Genesis landed in the city and put Weiss's body down near a pile of ruble, "You don't go anywhere." He said to Weiss's unconsious body. "You!? Your Genesis Rhaphsodos." A voice said behind Genesis. Genesis turned around to see the voice came from a turk, a turk named Cissnei. Genesis had saw her once before in Gongaga nearly 3 years ago. "How can you be alive? We were informed that Zack Fair had killed you." Cissnei said. Genesis smirked and said, "Zack was kind enough to let me live. Of course it was the Tsviest that took me to Deepground and nursed me back to health. However I soon left and sealed myself into a queit sleep, until Minerva needed me to help the planet." Cissnei looked confused, "Minerva?" She asked. Genesis replied, "The goddess, the goddess of the planet." Cissnei smilled and said, "It sounds crazy but it's probably true. So if your awake then that means the planet is in danger?" Genesis nodded, "I suppose so." He replied. "I need some help. Do you know where I can find Zack?" Genesis asked. Cissnei suddenly looked sad, "Zack was killed by the Shinra army." She said in a sad tone. Genesis gasped in shock, "What!? Damn Shinra. They deserve what they got." He said looking at the Shinra building. "What happened to Midgar?" Genesis asked. "Sephiroth summoned Meteor, even though the lifestream destroyed it and Sephiroth was deafeted by Cloud, Meteor still was close enough to wreck Midgar." Genesis sighed and said, "So Sephiroth did survive the Nibleheim inccedent? I guess i'm partly to blame for this." "What do you mean?" Cissnei asked. Genesis shook his head, "Never mind."

"You said Cloud deafeted Sephiroth, where could I find him?" Genesis asked. Cissnei pointed down a path and said, "You can find him in Areith's church." Genesis nodded an pointed to Weiss's body, "Can you watch him until I get back?" Genesis asked. When Cissnei saw Weiss she gasped, "Thats Weiss the Immaculate, the leader of the Tsviest.!!!" She said in shock. Genesis sighed and said, "What is so shocking about that?" Cissnei replied, "He nearly destroyed the planet, but Vincent stopped him and the other Tsviest. Hojo was using his body for three years." Genesis looked at Weiss's body and said, "Then it's Hojo's fault he did those things. The Weiss I met 3 years ago was'nt a bad man, he just hated Shinra. So please watch after him." Cissnei sighed, "Fine i'll watch him, but I don't trust you or him." Genesis nodded and said, "I don't trust a turk either but right now I need you, so I can help the planet and help Minerva." Genesis then headed off toward the church.

On his way to the church he fought more "S" monsters. When he entered the church he saw a man in black with spiky hair and a large sword, "Cloud Strife." Genesis spoke. Cloud turned around and looked at Genesis, "You, it's you....1st class SOILDER Genesis." Cloud said." Genesis nodded and said, "So you do remember me? So it was you that killed Sephiroth and saved the planet. Also i'm sorry about Zack." Cloud replied, "Why should you care, you were trying to kill him?" Genesis nodded and said, "Because of Zack and Minerva I saw the truth and now I need your help to protect the planet." "Minerva?" Cloud asked. Genesis replied, "The goddess of this planet. Something is wrong and she is in danger. I need your help." Genesis bowed begging for help. Cloud nodded and said, "You really have changed." Suddenly a summon matteria appeared in the air and transformed into the Ifrit.

Once the Ifrit has been deafeted, Cloud agreed to help Genesis. The two warriors left the church and headed to where Cissnei was suppose to be, but unknown to them a mysterous figure was standing on the roof of the church spying on the two, this man was the one who summoned the Ifrit to fight them. When Cloud and Genesis arrived at the area where Cissnei was supposed to be, Genesis was shocked to see that she was gone and she had taken Weiss's body with her. "Damn that turk. I knew I could'nt trust her." Genesis said. "What turk? What's going on?" Cloud asked. Genesis replied, "A turk kidnapped someone I know." Genesis could'nt tell Cloud it was Weiss, he knew Cloud would not help him if he knew it was Weiss who was kidnapped. Cloud nodded and said, "Hop on Fenrir, my motorcycle and i'll take you to Edge." "Edge?' Genesis asked. "It's the city that the survivors of Midgar built, my friends their can help us." Genesis nodded and got on the motorcycle with Cloud. The two were now headed toward Edge.

Genesis has teamed up with Cloud, Cissnei has kidnapped Weiss, and a strange man is lurking in the shadows. What does all this mean? Find out in the next chapter. Expect chapter 3 tonight or tommorow morning. BTW Demon and Kyuu, keep posting replies and tell others about my story.

 

Chapter 3 - Meeting of Heros

Genesis and Cloud drove up to the 7th Heaven bar in Edge. When Cloud and Genesis entered the bar, Tifa was surprised, "Oh, Cloud who is your friend?" She asked. Cloud replied, "This is the former SOILDER 1st class Genesis." Besides Tifa, Vincent, Red XIII, Marlene, Denzel, and Barret were in the bar. "He needs our help, his friend has been kidnapped and he says the planet is in danger." Cloud explained. Barret sighed and said, "Damn fool, the planet seems to always be in danger." Vincent moved from the corner and said, "You are the man the WRO calls "G" are'nt you?" Vincent asked. Genesis knew he must be refering to Progect G, "Yes I am." Genesis replied. "Who is your friend, the one that was kidnapped?" Marlene asked. Genesis replied, "He was kidnapped by a turk and his name is.....Weiss." The entire group looked shocked, "If your in leauge with Weiss, then we wont help you." Vincent stated. Genesis repied, "But it was Hojo that was using him, it was'nt Weiss's fault." Cloud nodded, "Sorry, it's too risky." Cloud said. Genesis looked dissapointed and said, "Fine, I should have known you guys would'nt help. I don't why Minerva would want me to ask for your help." Tifa looked sad and said, "You said that Weiss was captured by a turk. You could probably find Rufus Shinra at the Healin Lodge in the mountains between Midgar and Junon." Genesis replied, "Do you know where I can get a transport? Flying with my one black wing can be tireing." The grouped look even more shocked, "A black wing!?" Cloud asked. Genesis just looked away. Tifa still looked sad, "Go to the garage on the east end of the city, speak with a man named Cid and he'll get you some transportation." She said. Genesis nodded and said, "Thank you." Before leaving the bar.

On his way to the garage Genesis encountered more "S" monsters, he deafeted everyone of them. When he arrived at the garage he asked a man that had a toothpick in his mouth, "Do you know where I can find Cid?" The man replied, "I am Cid, slick." Genesis nodded and said, "Right, I was wondering if I could borrow an airship, cloud and his friends sent me." Cidd smile and said, "Your a friend of Cloud's uh? In that case, sure I'll let ya borrow a small ship. However I don't have any ships here at the moment but If ya be willing to come to Rocket Town with me I'll get ya one there." Genesis nodded and said, "All right let's go." Cid and Genesis boarded the Highwind and headed off to Rocket Town.

That's right no boss battle in this chapter but their will be alot of boss battles coming up very soon. Expect Chapter 4 tommorrow night.

 

Chapter 4 - The Metal Giant in Rocket Town:

The mysterious figure that summoned the Ifrit ealier was hidden behind a canister at the garage. He had listened into Genesis and Cid's conversation. He opened his phone and dialed someone, he informed the stranger on the other end that Genesis and Cid were going to Rocket Town.

Cid and Genesis landed in Rocket Town a few hours later. However when they arrived at the town, it was under attack by an Iron Giant.

After Cid and Genesis deafeted the Iron Giant, Genesis thought he saw a man in black run into the forest but he just ignored it.

Cid led him to a garage and showed Genesis The Free Bird. Cid and smirked and said, "This is it, she's a beaut." Genesis and nodded and thanked Cid before entering the small air ship and taking off. He was headed to the Healin Lodge.

I know this chapter is'nt long but i'm tired tonight. Anyway expect alot of boss battles in the next chapter, I'll have it ready by tommorrow afternoon.

 

Chapter 5 - The Turks:

Genesis landed just a few miles away form the Healin Lodge. As he traveled through the forest leading to the lodge, he came upon a new type of "S" monster. It looked like many small blue balls joined together. Genesis tried to kill it with his sword but it did little damage. Genesis was frustated so he tried using a Blizzard spell on the monster. This caused the monster to become stronger. Genesis thought for a moment then he said, "If blizzard makes it stronger then fire will have an opposite effect." Genesis cast fire on it and it killed the creature instantly. Another creature just like the previous monster appeared and Genesis noticed it was yellow. "If it's yellow then that means it's a thunder monster. So blizzard might kill it." Genesis used blizzard on the creature and it died instantlly.

Suddenly a giant red orb with an "S" on it that was surrounded by fire.

Genesis deafeted the monster and continued his travels to the Healin Lodge.

Genesis arrived at the lodge and as he expected the Turks were waiting for him. Reno and Rude looked at Genesis and said, "So your the guy Cissnei told us would be coming. Sorry man, but we're going to have to take you out. Rufus Shinra's orders." Genesis smirked and said, "Just like a turk to be so over full of themselves."

Reno and Rude laid on the ground unconsious. Genesis was able to beat the two Turks. Gensis smirked and said, "You two should have stayed out of my way, your lucky I did'nt kill you." Genesis walked up the stairs and entered the Lodge.

Waiting for him inside was the Turk he had met earlier, Cissnei. Cissnei looked at Genesis and said, "I knew you would come." Genesis pointed his sword at Cissnei and said, "Where is Weiss?" Cissnei looked sad. Genesis shouted, "I trusted you, you kidnapped Weiss. How am I suppose to save the planet and save Minerva if no one will listen to me!!!!" A tear fell from Genesis's eye, thought of Minerva suffering caused him great sadness. Cissnei looked at Genesis with tear filled eyes and said, "This is my job, no matter what I have to do my job."

Cissnei was on her knees obviously tired. Cissnei looked at Genesis and said, "You beat me." Genesis looked at her and shouted, "Where is Weiss." Cissnei remained quite. But as Genesis started to head for the door she calmly said, "Rufus is holding him captive at the prison in Junon." Genesis nodded and whispered, "Thank you." Before leaving the lodge. Cissnei thought to herself, "He really is trying to save the planet. What am I doing? I'm just following Rufus's orders and it could mean the end of the world if I don't help Genesis." She stood up and whispered to herself, "I've got to get to Junon."

Genesis got on his airship and set course for Junon. "Don't worry Minerva I'll save Weiss, I'll save the planet, I'll save you, I'll save everyone. Even if no one else will help me."

3 boss battles in one chapter, Will Cissnei choose to help Genesis or not? The plot gets even more epic. Expect Chapter 6 tonight or tommorrow.
