The Key Bearer's Sleep

The next morning, before the sun rose (and before everyone on the island rose), Ao ventured off onto the beach, he was ready to see more of the world. Although all his friends were totally witch hunting him, he tried to ignore it and ran over to the old, splintery dock.

"Serena!" Ao smiled running over to her. "What are we gonna learn about today?"

 

This time, Ao would try not to get caught, so, he boarded Merryweather (the ship) with Serena quickly as Euia made her way to the dock. Merryweather started to pick up speed now as the wind grew and pushed them farther and farther away from the island.

 

Serena and Ao made it to Mushroom Island. It was just their favorite. As the two sat upon a giant mushroom, Serena began to speak.

"Ao, today, I'm gonna teach you about heartless and The Keyblade." Serena said as a giant, majestic, key appeared in her hand.

"Wow... that's the thing me, Will, and Jordan had when we were fighting off those... Heartless, was it?" Ao questioned.

"Yup." Serena smiled as she took a fake swing at a tree branch as if she was practicing.

"I got a glimpse of one that I summoned... what did it look like again?" Ao asked.

Serena smiled, "You tell me, Ao." She said.

Although Ao was completely unsatisfied with that last remark and didn't apprehend it at all, somehow he understood what she meant.
I a split second, a Keyblade appeared in Ao's hand too.

Ao examined it. My own unique Keyblade... He thought.

"Oathkeeper." Ao said smiling up at Serena.

"Huh?"

"Oathkeeper," Ao repeated again, "It's the first word I thought off when it appeared in my hand." Ao smiled as he felt a magical presence coming from the odd, key-shaped sword.

Serena giggled, "What does that mean?" She asked.

Ao smiled again, "It doesn't matter... all that matters is that I feel a divine feeling when I bear it." He smiled. Ao then looked up at Serena. "Serena... what's love? I still don't get it... even though I feel it often... for many people... Like my friends." Ao smiled.

Serena grinned, "Love is a very complex thing, Ao. One's best not be caught up in it... It could lead to great danger, or sadness... even though..." Serena blushed, turning away from Ao's curious look, "...Love is the best thing in the world..." She smiled burying her hands in between her legs as she blushed intensively.

"Serena..." Ao asked in confusion, then placed his hand on her forearm. "I-I want to know what it feels like to be loved back..." Ao said smiling slightly.

Ao's face got close to her cheek. Serena then stood still and silent.

"A-Ao..." She said in one breath.

 

((Sull, where did you go? You're not on AIM... Oh! And they are not in love. It's just, Ao is still curious about love and wants to feel it, and Serena has known of love her whole life and has had urges to feel it as well, so, they're doing each other a favor.))




Serena then turned to face Ao's gentile face. "A-Ao..." Serena said again as her eyes faded shut slowly and her mouth started to take control as did Ao's.

"Se-re... na..." Ao slowly spoke as he shut his eyes and placed his lips onto Serena's.

It was a long moment they did this, it made them feel, not in love- or sensual, but just... happy to know what it felt like.

 

After they stopped, Serena smiled, "Thanks, Ao." She said as the two got up from the giant mushroom and started to walk away, but as they did, a bunch of Invisibles appeared.

"Serena! Are these Heartless???" Ao franticly asked.

"Yes, Ao. Now, Summon your the Oathkeeper... NOW!" Serena said calmly as her Keyblade, (Tidal Fury), appeared in her hand, she then took a swing.

"Hyaa!" She yelled as she stroke two of the Heartless down. Then, the Oathkeeper appeared in Ao's hand. He took a swing as well.

After some time, all the Invisibles were dead.

"C'mon, Ao. Lets get you back home..." Serena said putting her arm around his back.

Ao was dropped off at the other side of the island, so he had to walk far to get to his tree-home. He then sat in his bed, "I love love..." Ao smiled falling to sleep.

 

Ao nested and rested in his bed, he needed the sleep.

Ao awoke, "Will, what the heck.... I was sleeping." He yawned.
