Serena takes Ao on trips to different islands everyday on her ship Merryweather and they have become good friends. Why is Ao the one who gets to see beyond The Island of Rest? What does Serena mean by "other"? And where will Serena take him next?

    "Ao, what is going on?!" Euia demanded. She stood up and wiped the sea salt off her pants. "And who is this... girl?!" She swung her arm around to point where she sensed the stranger was standing.
