The Way To Dusk

"Young Sir... ermm.. why do you ask? Are you not... *gulp* pleased with her beauty?"

Jaldin stuttered.

 

Semnax blushed, "Of course Jasmine is beautiful. It's just I want to get her something for our anniversery but I can't find anything to make her more beautiful because she's so beautiful already."

 

"Mhm..." Jaldin smiled in content. Jaldin sat down on a stone bench on the balcony, and so did Semnax.

"I don't remember love that well..." Jaldin trailed off, "But I remember the first person I saw after the day when I woke up in Radiant Garden mindless... just made me feel like smiling. She gave me tour of the town." Jaldin flipped open his cell-phone, and looking at the picture in the phone's background he started to blush.

It was a picture of Yuffie Kisaragi.

 

Semnax looked at the picture, "Yuffie!? She was a freind of my family."

 

"Oh really now..." Jaldin looked down at his feet.

Semnax tried to get a peek at Jaldin's emotions through his black hood but couldn't see his face.

"So, anyways, young king... about you pleasant looking wife." Jaldin nudged Semnax's shoulder, as if he was trying to cheer him up.

 

"Hold on now. How do you have a picture of yuffie if she lived a thousand years ago?"

 

"Yuffie's dead!!??" Jaldin dropped to his knees on the ground.

Jaldin felt startled... he then remembered the day he had awoke without any memories of his life before.

"Wait... that... wasn't then... but... but I know she gave me a tour of the castle at one point..." Jaldin stuttered. "She... she gave me her picture... no... NO WAIT... it's all coming back now... or... or is it... what... what's happening..."

There was then a sudden flash of light. Jaldin fell to the ground.

Jaldin was in a dark place, everything was pitch black. Jaldin then heard clapping in the distance.


"Hehehe... I've missed you... Squall..." A voice said.


"Wha--wait... who are you? Where am I... what happened...?" Jaldin freaked out.


The man crept out of the shadows. He was also wearing a black cloak


"Squall, Squall... you're a nobody, don't you remember?"


"Squall... where have I heard that name..." Jaldin asked himself.


"It's your somebody's name..."

 

((KK, so what happened is that Jaldin is starting to remember his past. The last time he came to Radiant Garden a thousand years before, he met Yuffie, and she gave him the tour. Jaldin's somebody is alive and has an everlasting heart, so Jaldin is still alive.))

 

Semnax looked at Jaldin, "Hey what's wrong?"

 

Jaldin awoke.

"Oh, excuse me sir. I don't think I got enough sleep last night."

 

Gerik walked out of the computer room, "It might be best to find His Majesty. I wonder if he knows his wife has a nobody. And if he knows his bodyguard is a nobody. I do wonder what was in that one file though. Maybe it explains why Voltair and I were setting up that defensive system a few years ago. Gah! Why Voltair!? Why is it you seem to know everything while I am stuck here guessing!?!?"

 

What happened to me... those were... HAH! I remember who those were... the organization... how do I know that... Jaldin thought to himself.

 

Gerik was wandering through the castle, "Finding a king is annoying. Gotta check the throne room though, wherever that is." He passed by the kitchen, noticing Queen Jasmine. He tried to hide, hoping she wouldn't see him.

 

>Jasmine is at Serenity's house.<

Semnax sniffed around, "I smell darkness and alot of it too."

Adam blushed, "You look so beautiful, Serenity." Serenity blushed, "Does he like me?" She thought to herself. She then looked at Jasmine's expression and she could tell that Jasmine knew that she had a crush on Adam.

 

"Your majesty, your wife is beautiful." Jaldin smiled, regaining consciousness.

 

"Never mind that. I smell so much darkness."

 

Adam smiled, "O'k see ya, mom." Semnax ran to the library.

 

"Sm-Smell it... what do you mean sir?
