The New Organization

Kat shrugged, "Something like that." really, 'they' would worry more that she had failed her mission and gotten killed. But they wouldn't be worried about her as much as they would be worried about who would be able to do her mission as well as her.

 

Kat nodded, "No, they aren't all that fun to be around when they are worried." she rolled her eyes and looked back at Hunter and the others whose names she didn't really remember. "I guess I'll see you guys later maybe." she said with a smile. She followed Voltiar.

Jaxx reguarded Jade as she left with little more than a nod. Could Hunter really be asking her if she was ok? "I almost killed you just now. Or weren't you paying attention?"

 

Jaxx nodded to Alph and then continued talking, "But other than the fact that I almost killed you and the fact that Crimson is destroying worlds left and right right now, I'm great." she said sarcasticly. She shook her head and suddenly threw her arms around him, "Scratch that... I really am glad that I only almost killed you. It could have been worse, right."

 

Jaxx looked at her friends once before following Crimson. She gave them a reassuring nod, signaling that everything was going to be ok. Then she let go of Hunter's hand and then followed Crimson. At Kingdom Hearts, she pulled out her katanas, "Ironic how so?" she said darkly. "This is always where we fight, it is more like fate's sense of humor that either yours or my last stand sould be here."

Jaxx heard the faint sound of a portal opening and then heard someone step through it but she wasn't paying much attention. She only took a fraction of a second to make sure that it was a friend and not Zula or Hin attacking from behind. When she saw it was Hunter, she had mixed emotions about it. For one, she didn't want to put him in danger but then she remembered he said that if she died, he would follow her so this was just saving him the trouble of killing himself if Jaxx were to lose. But she was always happy to see him no matter what, especially now that her evil side was dead. It was like seeing Hunter in a completely different way because there wasn't a deep part of her that hated him anymore.
In truth, somehow she knew she was not going to lose to Crimson. She wasn't sure what it was but the assurence was gathering from everywhere within her mind and heart. She would not die, and neither would Hunter.
She saw the deturmination in Hunter's expression and knew he was thinking the same thing. She smiled at him and then attacked Crimson, pulling out her katanas and slashing at her before she had much chance to move. She cut a deep gash in Crimson's sholder and chest. She knew why Crimson picked Kingdom Hearts as their battle ground. Crimson had the upper hand here because it drained on Jaxx's energy when the door was closed. But she would not let that be a burden to her, instead she saw it as an aid to her streingth. She put everything she was, even pain and weakness, and turned it into deturmination and fury. She would not let Crimson get the upper hand.

 

Katsumi knew Page was suspisious of her. Separating her from her friends wouldn't be hard. She would follow her.
She pretended to be in a hurry so she wouldn't get Voltiar mixed up in the fight that was to come. "I should go... I really don't want them to be upset." she bid him farewell and then ran off down the streets.

 

*Um, ya sure if thats what you want to do Amy.*

-Fast forward-
Jaxx and Crimson and Hunter all three had some pretty bad suvinears from the fight. Some of which probably wouldn't be able to be healed magicly once they were done fighting. Hin and Zula never showed themselves but they seemed to knock someone back whenever Crimson got outnumbered. At points, either Hunter or Jaxx would get pulled off altogether by Hin or Zula and one of them would be fighting Hin and Zula at once while the other faced Crimson alone. Hunter had managed to keep them from interferring eventually and Jaxx was starting to feel Kingdom Hearts affecting her streingth while Crimson was getting stronger. But Jaxx could also feel a power draining at Crimson too. The fight had been going on for hours and it was beginning to look like all three of them were going to die because of their pride and will to win.

Crimson suddenly pulled out a knife and threw it at Jaxx with so much speed and force that it whistled through the air. It was stopped short by a crashing sound as Hunter blocked it with his sword only an inch from Jaxx's heart. Jaxx nodded to Hunter as if saying thanks without using words and then looked at Crimson again. She could see Crimson lose more streingth almsot as fast as she was gaining it and then she suddenly understood what it was. "Her sword." she said to Hunter. "I think thats what is making her so strong but its also killing her."

She picked up the knife that Crimson had just thrown at her, it was cracked all the way down the blade because of how hard it hit Hunter's sword. The both of them had the same idea at about the same time. The nodded to eachother and Hunter even smiled a little.

They both ran in separate directions, Jaxx to the right, Hunter to the left. Hunter dissapeared and Jaxx continued on until she was standing right in front of Crimson. When Crimson moved to attack Jaxx with her fans, Jaxx brought up the cracked knife and blocked the fans. She stick the knife through both of them and then yanked them back, tearing them and pulling them out of Crimsons hand. Then Hunter appeared behind Crimson and stabbed her back with his own sword, At the same time, Jaxx grabbed Crimson's hand, around the handle of Crimson's strange sword that was taking her energy. She stabbed it through Crimson's heart. Kingdom Hearts suddenly slammed open and Some ghostly verson of Tom stepped out. Crimsons body dissapeared. Scienta, Hatsu, and Hotaru appeared behind Tom. Hotsu and Hotaru waved and Scienta winked. Crimson walked over to Tom, as soon as she stepped into the light, her injuries dissapeared. She said something to them but her voice was muted slightly. The door closed again, all evedence that Crimson was gone except for the torn fans that Jaxx had pulled away from her.

Kat heard Page comming up behind her. 'No more games, empath.' she thought to herself.

 

Jaxx was a little suprised that things finally turned out that easy. Crimson's obsession with power was mostly what killed her so she didn't really credit herself and hunter as much for the victory. But it was a little comforting to know that the only reason it took so long for Hunter and herself working together to take Crimson down was that Crimson was using a jinxed sword and that Jaxx was only at half power. She and Hunter were both pretty messed up from the fight. Jaxx's most severe injury was probably her hand where she grabbed onto the hexed sword. It had done something really wierd. Her hand was screwed up and fractured in more than one place. She pulled each finger and her wrist to make them straight before she healed it. She didn't want it to heal all crooked.
After she was done with that, she looked up again. She realized she hadn't seen Hunter since he helped kill Crimson. She knew he wasn't dead or unconsious. But she couldn't see him or sence his location. "Hunter!?" she called. She wasn't all that worried, but she was still a little worried. Plus, she wanted to get away from kingdom hearts soon and she wasn't about to leave without him.

Kat summoned her bow and arrow and it floated on the rooftop. About to fire an arrow at page on its own. She had to have page live at least long enough to see her friends so that Page could tell her friends that she had been wrong about her suspissions about Jade.
