Kyuu noticed the people only when Jesse said that. She looked a bit scared.

"Where did they come from?"

Rick thanked Hope. "Thanks. I...I didn't really know what to do." He looked up from Torii, who was still on the ground, the blood loss must have affected her in some way, and saw 7 figures on the building in front of them. He carefully lay Torii down , brushing her hair out of her face, then went to be closer to the people.

"Well, you haven't changed. You're still protecting the weak." One of the people said to Jesse. Rick ran back to Torii, and carefully lifted her up, and carried her over to where Jesse and the others were. She would probably want to hear this. >Sorry for the semi-autoing I just thought it might help if you could hear it ^_^ <

"Who are you? And what do you want?" Rick said coldly. >>Little bit of NPC autoing here<< One of the strangers, the same one that had spoken to Jesse, replied to Rick. "We are those who protect those who deserve it, and let those that don't fight their own perils." The stranger shot a filthy glance at Jesse and Kyuu.

Like lightning, Rick drew an arrow from his quiver, notched it to his bow and loosed it. It whistled right past the head of one of the other strangers. "Next time that'll be your head if you don't answer me!" He threatened. The strangers laughed at him. One of them waved his hand in a strange motion and Rick was bowing to them before he knew what was going on. He layed his bow on the ground and arrows on top of it. "What the..!?" Rick started

"Fool, you cannot harm us if we wish for you not to." The leader laughed.

 

Rick ran at the man. He actually managed to hit the man around the face, then the man picked him up by his collar, grabbed his ankle, flipped him upside down, then jerked it left and right sharply. Rick gave a cry of agony, his ankle was broken, no doubt that had been a loud crack.

He fell to the floor. He reached out to Jesse, trying to grab his hand to help him get back.

 

Torii was in a daze, it felt like acid was moving through her veins. She heard somone say somthing and felt movment, but none of it seemed relevant to the head spliting pain.

conciousness was coming to her, all to fast. The light struck her like a blow too the head causing dizzyness.

All of a sudden she was fine. She removed an obstruction from her arm.

Looking up into the sky she some how felt diffrent. As if all her life she had being looking through a vail and this was the first time she could truly see.

Hearing a man speak she recognised the voice, It was her master. Her king.

 

Kyuu looked terrified.

"Jesse!" she yelled and ran to him.

"Leave him alone!" she shrieked.

 

Torii got up to look at her master.

Looking at him she felt a deep-respectful love for him.

"Master.." She whispered bowing on one knee.

Thats when she noticed a change of clothes. She was wearing a tank-top with hot pants and long materail boots *like Yuffies clothes* She also had a katana sheeth straped around her back. There was no katana inside it tho.

 

Kyuu looked confused.

"What are you talking about...? What are these guys?!" she was shocked.

 

All torii now wanted was to get next to her master. To be with him and heed his orders.

"Master, Im here to serve!" She cried pushing through the other children to get to him

 

Kyuu stood next to Jesse.

"What does this mean?" she were really scared.

 

Kyuu looked Torii.

"I... I thought you were our friend." she whispered.

 

Torii was rubbing her head into the side of the masters chest, like a cat.

"Do i get my reward now?" She asked like a begging cat, while eyeing her empty sheeth
