Let’s talk Coded’s (DS) combat

It was by far the only variant of the command deck I liked. Yes, the gameplay shifts in segments were annoying. Like the rail shooter segment of Wonderland.
I’m aware many disliked the glitched segments (tho I loved them) but let’s just bullet point the neat ideas the game had.

• Keyblades leveled up. This let you use your fave even at end game. Most keyblades also had it’s unique combos too.

• Accessories had the abilities. It gave them uses outside just small defense perks.

• Commands could be temporarily paired or permanently fused. It was such a fun feature.

• It had a modifier for difficulty taken straight from The World Ends With You.

• It had a refined variant of a panel system for leveling up and stats. It was more like a grid but you put panels on it!

• IT HAD (albeit small) FINAL FANTASY CAMEOS AT A TIME WHEN KH WAS IGNORING THEM

• Sora’s combos aren’t sluggish as hell nor does he float. Two of the biggest issues from KH1 and BBS.

• DID I MENTION KEYBLADES LEVELED UP AND HAD UNIQUE COMBOS!?

• And yes there was at least one broken command for you cheesers. It was Judgement Raid.

 

lol I found it by accident myself. I melded it out of another raid command I think and the second I used it I was "oh damn" xD
