the reason why kairi is inside sora is because the rain, or water (kairi) is in the sky (sora) in the form of clouds before it rains. the ancients use to preform blood sacrifice rituals to the sun to ensure a Good rainy season for the earth (riku)

notice how the slaying of the dragon splits the sun right down the middle. its the transition of winter to the new year of spring time (which is green)
because the house of Aries divides the dead of winter from the reborn sun in spring time





spring time is the rainy season you see? so it is the time when the earth (riku) needs the rain (kairi) but its in the sky (sora)

It is a blob but it still makes a line dividing the sun. It doesn't have to be a straight line because you can see it goes right down the middle of the sun cutting it in half.

The sun is divided annually between the seasons of summer and winter, half and half.

One complete cycle of the wheel makes the two seasons even, like evening time where we see purple because red and blue make purple.
Spring divides the dead winter from the reborn sun. Spring green when the vegetation comes back to life.
This is the time of spring showers
What is a stretch about that? Thats just the natural cycle of nature depicted right there in kingdom hearts

 

yes they both represent the same thing which is the 2 opposing forces of nature coexisting in one.
