Think they'll incorporate the Movie Maleficent?

The movie is nice... but I prefer the cruel version instead. I would rather not see Maleficent in a sympathetic light anyway. Maleficent is suppose to be pure evil for a purpose so taking the elements in the movie and to cross it over will lower Maleficent's true appearance.

 

You guys need to remember Maleficent is a prequel to Sleeping Beauty. So, it's obvious through out time she becomes progressively darker/more evil. As far as it being incorporated in KH3, no, because it is a prequel.
They might take elements from the world and Angelina's character, but I don't really see that happening either.
But, I almost highly doubt Maleficent will have much of a roll in Kingdom Hearts 3.
BUT, she isn't as cruel as you guys think. In KH2 she "helps" Sora, Riku, and The King, so her pure evil isn't that pure.

 

The movie is not a prequel (In a sense). The movie is a perspective-type movie that shows Maleficent's own life and in her own eyes. The elements used in the movie to be transferred into KH3, 120% impossible (Better not); the movie being a prequel: no.

And Maleficent helping Sora: It is a "This is a truce until the third party is gone, and then I'll go back to killing you". Helping a protagonist does not mean the villain is not purely evil.

Again, Maleficent is a prequel, the story of Sleeping Beauty starts within Maleficent, telling it from her POV, BUT it still ha prequel elements. which didn't focus all around Aurora.

The movie being a prequel: Yes and no.

Again, it would make no sense to add those elements to KH,
Why? Because we already know the story. The only thing I see being added to Maleficent, is a graphic update on her face making it look more like Angelina. We may even see her world in KH3 look something like the movie. WHICH ISN'T 120% impossible, and would make sense, because they updated the Final Fantasy Characters in KH2 to look more human and less cartoonish. As far as adding anything to the story, it won't happen. Why? Because Maleficent's roll in the next KH3 will not be major, so there is no need to add to a useless story anymore.
She really didn't need to be in Kingdom Hearts 2, to be honest.

Again, Notice how I had the word help in quotes, because it was meant to be used lightly. While, she helped for her own benefit she still helped, in the world of KH if you want to pure evil, you fall into darkness, WHICH she hasn't. Again, shes evil, pure is to heavy word for her outside of her own realm. You guys are giving her to much PURE evil credit in the games and keep mixing her actions from the past movies into the game, which are two different worlds.

If she was pure evil lets say like, MX she wouldn't have given any shits about Sora, Riku, or Mickey and they would be dead. Donzo, bye bye story mode. She could have just left them to die because she could have easily escaped.

As far a the line, Disney characters don't kill, I'm really guessing the only reason why she was there is because SE was forced by Disney to atleast keep one of their villians as an antagonist. I'm guessing if SE had their way she would be gone, but it is a Disney game as well, so her presence was needed.

remember we are in the realm of KH.

 

As many have said, Maleficent the movie shouldn't appear in KH3. Mainly because the events that happen, happen before the events we have seen the KH universe. So time wise, it'd be all paradoxical and not make much sense if they were to include it.

 

Yeah, but I almost highly doubt they will give Maleficent that much shine in KH3. If anything, we may see her in TWTNW again.

 

After kingdom hearts 2 maleficent seems to have somewhat of a heart, even if she is out for herself and her own desires above everyone elses. She saved and aided sora twice. I think maleficent will have an origin before she met xehanort similar to the new movie.
