    Hey guys, Vox here with a quick update. We've been working hard on new things for KHP and luckily we've managed to get our hands on some very talented artist. Welcome Remedy and
    いいよ, (Tay) To the team. We are so proud to have them working along side us. You can expect Avatars, Signatures, and Wallpapers incoming soon. Along with alot more features to keep this place feeling and LOOKING amazing.

    Right, I was thinking the same thing.


    p.s it's way too many staff member and not enough active members. Btw, what exactly is the graphic team doing besides making avatars and other graphics along the forums that any member can do? Why aren't they designing for the website, that's what I want to see, talent beyond basic graphics.

    Working on a new word press theme that's the next step. Graphic team will be helping with this. Forum update software currently costs $$$ that we don't have. We are trying to amass the funds to update the Vbulletin software. when that's complete then expect a update.


    Cutting out old staff so that it will not be as big as it is now.

    As for graphic team if any member could do it, then they would have been doing it by now. They will be the ones helping with the re-designs coming in the future. These two are talented beyond " basic graphics" so i wouldn't sell them too short so fast. However there are things they cannot do that i'll have to enlist the help of Coders and outside help for Custom help if we can't do it all in house. Unlike the previous renditions of this i have things planned beyond just Avatars and wallpapers.

    Congratulations to both Tay and Remedy joining the KHP team. I'm excited to work alongside you and get this place looking all sparkly.

    It wasn't so much a matter of a hole in the ship as much as no one with authority being at the helm. But now we have authority at the helm (more so than we used to anyways). I don't think having five to six mods (that number including super mods) along with a few main site staff and Admins is so gratuitous. Having a fleshed out staff to serve as core leadership is one of the first things I'd be doing if I were the one at the helm.

    Also, we are working on activity. It would be nice to have help from members who aren't on staff. If you want activity then start posting. it attracts more people to join. Staff can't post and staff at the same time. We need help from you guys as well. Post away.

    It's 2014, do I really need to go in, and dissect this post? Seriously.

    For how long? What exactly are you doing to achieve this?

    Posting alone isn't just going to raise activity, we've been doing it, clearly it's not working.

    This statement literally made no sense whatever. It's a forum, I'm sure your not THAT limited to materialistic ideals to compenstate you.


    True, but it's nothing really eye catching on here (for me that is), but threads like these, and the graphic corner, we have a variety of members here who don't just like role-play, or design, or kingdom hearts. You all should know this by now, these conversations are repetitive w/ little done.

    Ric, I've posted nearly everywhere on this forum in the last week. It's not just KH anymore. If you want activity else where then be creative and make a thread. Don't wait on others. I haven't seen a thread created by you since I've returned, but you have time to complain about activity.
    I'm glad you are here, but again we need help. Us in staff are trying to get this place cleaned up and running again. Plus, we all have real world things going on. (Which is what I mean by staff can't, post and staff at the same time.) Pretty self-explanatory at least to me.
    Anyway, for some reason, idk, the RP and KH seem to be getting replies because people are interested in that OR because I posted new threads in a few section because they were inactive for "3 weeks" when I returned a week ago. I literally posted 5-8 SIMPLE threads and people are still responding to most of them. SLOWLY, but still more active then I've seen this place in a while. SO uh post a thread maybe, that you want to talk about. Not leave it to anyone else because I have no clue what you like to talk about on a forum. I just know what I like. If you aren't into Role-Playing, great I'm not either, post somewhere you are interested in. Others may share your interest. We have Final Fantasy section, as well as a Members Lounge. WE have all type of sections. If you don't see a section you like we have a suggestion thread. We are open to ideas, my friend.
    But
    It's not just limited to KH anymore.

    As far as this conversation being repetitive I understand that and I can fully agree. Thats why we are asking you guys for help. I've been nailing the staff to be more active too. But again Staff can't staff and keep the forum active all at once. We all have REAL LIFE problems, so give us sometime. We are just getting started, hold up and give us a little more time. I literally returned last week and have been working on ideas. Sorry, I'm not Goku and can't instant transmit activity here, as fast as he can travel, but I promise Ric we will get this place jumping <3

    If by that you mean to ask if you need to bash my analogy and flame at me for my opinion simply because you can't see or appreciate the point I'm making, then the answer is, to my pleasure: No.

    You've had a rather annoying track record over the past few years of popping up whenever we're trying to accomplish things, and complaining about how we're apparently doing something terribly wrong. Unless you've a mind to be part of the solution, then don't complain about the problem.

    Alright enough fighting.

    X3pic and Wayward are both right. In order to be an active forums you need activity which involves everybody posting.

    As for what else is being done. There's a lot of behind the scene stuff going on as Vox and Angel have stated. Until they're ready to be released, just know we're working on more updates.

    Ric, if you don't want to post or don't feel appealed by the site , you don't need to, but with that regard I don't fully understand why then you're here.

    Anyways, yeah look for more updates in the future , and be awesome and post.

    I was hoping i wouldn't have to post but it seems i have to just to clear up details.

    What wayward says is right and he has a point, a undeniable one at that. Ric the only time you show up is when we are attempting to move something in a positive direction and you meet it with negativity. i can't think of a positive thing you've ever said about KHP in years. Please understand this is not meant to bash you or anyone but as the only saying goes, if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all.

    Activity on a site requires more than just posting, which to be honest i'm quite proud of what everyone is doing. as miniscule as it may look , it's a step in the right direction. What we need is a updated wordpress, what we need is many many more articles, much more frequently, what we need is higher Google analytics. What we need is fresh blood to make new threads that spark conversation and debate. Finally what we need is a brand new Forum Software Which i assure all of you. is something that we are working on diligently to accomplish it's been on the main front of our work for a long time. But while that's a road were paving to reach in the short term We put up a new skin for both the main site and forum to show everyone that we are trying to change the place. we're all driving in the right direction and you can either hop in the car and come along with us on this journey. Or you can make your decision to not and go your own way.


    But let me reply to this quote real fast and i'll end this discussion because it will go no where.

    and as i recall you had a forum before and i used to lurk there every other few months or so, and yours didn't exactly become the booming social network as you're expecting us to be so not sure you have room to criticize KHP.

    If nothing here catches your eye, then i apologize, however these same things were here when you used to frequent this place actively so either your interest changed or you never liked it here to begin with. Which is fine we all grow apart from things so no arm done there. I know it's alot of things i don't frequent anymore due to life/age/time constraints/etc. That's a part of life so if that's the case i completely understand.

    As a forum i try to do my best to understand the interests of all of the community and i'd like to think we have a pretty varied array of things. But a forum re-organization is in the works for the upcoming things we are working on.

    In conclusion, if you're not apart of the solution you're apart of the problem and as Admin i try my best to be humble about everything but please spare me the " you're doing it wrong" speeches if you want to help, i'd be more than happy to accept a helping hand but if you're going to watch us build a house and say you're doing it wrong without helping us place the misplaced bricks then no thank you.
