Between Kingdoms

Ignasius: Thank you for your wise advice.(after wondering. Ignasius bumps into the princess nocking down her peaces she' just bought) Please forgive me. May I buy you more? I may have little money however.

 

Iris looked around. It was a pretty nice city. The buildings were very tall. It seemed to be very wealthy. If you would change the architecture and replace the streets with canals, you would get Iris' home city. Of course the people are totally different. Nobody would act like that boy simply because a princess is around.

Iris asked a vendor. "Hello. Have you seen two girls run past here? Really wealthy looking." The vendor instead tried to sell her stuff. Then he started talking about how "trade with the Republic becoming better since they got a new leader." She didn't want to hear it.

Iris turned into a shadowy street. She couldn't believe how dark it was. Iris liked it. That gave Iris the idea to track the girl's by finding their shadows.
Iris whispered a spell.
"By the depths of Ereshkigal's realm,
The corpse of the great Tiamet,
The tears of Ishtar reveal these two women!"

A thin gold line appeared around the girl's shadows. Iris walked right up to them and asked. "Are we going to be playing these games all the time? If so I can always summon a few demons--I mean friends to keep you occupied."

 

Iris said. "The last one? What happened to the last one? Compared to bounty hunting this job is a cake walk. Did he or she die out of exhaustion from shopping?"

 

Ignasius: (really blushing) ummmm....may I ask why princess?

 

Gerik was walking around the city. He was wearing a traveling cloak and all you could see was the lower part of his face, because he didn't want anybody to know it was him, "Well, today seems no different than any other day, I suppose that is good."

 

Ignasius: Oh never mind princess(runs off) Oh stupi stupid stupid STUPID! I can say how I feel around her bu--(spots Gerik's robe) What's HE doing here?

 

Iris said. "That is good. I'm not from here so I really don't care much about princesses. Though I was born into wealth so the lifestyle is a bit similar." She thought a bit. "What are you scheduled to do today?"

 

As Gerik was wandering the city, he heard a familiar voice behind him, "What a coincidence that she is here." Gerik thought to himself. He would go over there now, but he heard other voices, and didn't want to start something right now.

 

Gerik had heard what Arianna said, and it made him stop dead in his tracks, "Brian? Why is she talking to him of all people?" He thought to himself.

 

Ignasius: That's Gerik. I should tell Arianna.

 

Gerik started walking again, not really sure where he was going.
