College Catastrophe

Zac walked off and scoffed, his perverted friend had found another girl and use his so called "charm", and talked to her with words that were hallow, yet she wasn't aware of it. He kept on walking until he tripped over his feet again and landed on the ground again. He needed to tie his shoes.

 

Alexis looked up as the she saw the same boy who fell a minute ago, fall again. He stumbled a lot. She thought he was drunk, she already knew he wouldn't be the type of person she would talk to. She didn't really feel like getting into all that commotion, and it was only a week or so before classes actually started. She did feel bad for him though. He looked harmless, maybe one of those kids who got teased on a lot. Even if he were, per say, drunk, he probably just wanted to be let into the "In" crowd. Just wanted to fit it somewhere. Probably not the best way to do it, though.

 

Zac tied his shoes and saw a girl with black and red hair breefly looking at him. was she watching him? Okay time to go. He decided to get a drink real quick near the bar. Key word, quick. He ran over to the bar area and just asked for a coke, nothing more. He grabbed his drink as started to drink it and stay for a bit, until of course those college girls show up.

 

Alex looked over seeing a boy fall and trip she went to go over and help him up only for her to see him move quickly standing up tying his shoes before heading over to the soda bar area. She slowly made her way over as well.

"Coke please." Alex said before looking over at the boy. "You alright there?" She asked him looking at him concerned.

 

Elliot pulled up to the towering dorm building in her truck loaded with everything she needed for her room. Elliot had driven here herself, all of her goodbyes had already been said back home. No point in everyone coming with her. She hopped out of the car, her sweater snagging on the door. She unhooked the thread, grabbed a bag from the back and walked inside. She looked around, found the elevator, and slowly headed up. Quiet music was bubbling through the speakers in the ceiling; it was some jazz version of an old song. Elliot just rode up awkwardly until it binged for the third floor.
Stepping out into the hall she walked over to room 32. Her roommate already had all of her things moved in but wasn’t unpacked. She wondered what kind of person she would get. For the next half hour or so Elliot moved all of her stuff from her truck into her room and unpacked it, taking the bed to the right. With everything in place she was tired so she grabbed a book and headed down to the communal area to read. Walking into the room she sat on a cushy armchair a few seats away from another girl and started to read.

 

Zac sipped the coke and sighed as e smacked the glass bottle onto the counter, though, he didnt break it. His head sank and he moaned in agony and boredom, "My roommate is an asshole, and just my luck...there are several girls here toni-wait..."

He slowly turned his head to see that we was now conversing with a girl. His face turned red and a blank expression came across his face, "Daaahhhhh I gotta go," he said as he got up from his desk and yet again, somehow managed to trip himself, and his face was planted into the floor.

"Why do I always keep tripping?" he muttered to himself quietly. He looked and saw the girl and sheepishly chuckled, and gave a nervous smile. Oh was this awkward...

 

Alex hurried over to him to help him up.

"Two left feat?" She teased. "It's ok, I practically have no feat most of the time." She said laughing to help him up.

"Alex, Alex Colt." She said sticking her hand forward to shake his hand.

 

"Zac G-Geomar," he nervously stated as he whole her hand and got up. He brushed himself off and then looked at he with the same expression he gave her before and then looked at his wrist and puled the fake watch bit and drew on a watch with his pen.

"Oh look!" he said as he finished the watch, "I gotta go its *yawn* uh...duh... I don't what time it is. But I do know that I have to go," he said as he turned around quickly and tried to go back to his dorm. Before anything else happens...

 

Alex watched him run off.

"Interesting kid there..." Before pulling out her cell phone to write a blog entry.

Moved into college, there are several students now it's just time to meet everybody. I had just met my first person, a very interesting kid, his name's Zac, he seemed pretty shy, probably a bit nervous too, but hey that's the thing about college. Everybody is different. You can't judge a book just by it's cover and the little summary on the back, some times you just need to pick up the book and start reading.

Anyways, I'm off to see who else I can stumble upon.

Alex submitted the blog post before making her way over to one of several couches set up with students watching TV while also surveying and decided upon who to meet.


OOC: Hey I'll be having Alex write several blog entries, is it possible to show some of your character reading them or recognizing them, that's how I had Alex discovered anyways is by her blog because it was popular and read by several Colette students.

 

Alexis watched as the kid some how managed to fall again. It was a rather funny thing to see really, although she did feel extremely bad for him, to say the least. He must get nervous around girls a lot, well, maybe he just isn't used to the college kind.

Alexis chuckled a bit.

She saw the girl who was helping him up, talking to him, but he scurried away so quickly, he must have been scared or something by her. Alexis recognized her, in some ways. Her friend last year used to read her blogs, but Alexis never really took a whole lot of interest in them. In her eyes, it was just some teen wanting to get "famous" or to be a site model or something. People searching for something like that, per say, never really interested her, so she always shrugged them off. Although she was rather pretty, Alexis couldn't get her looks mixed with her personality, she thought, in all honesty, the girl could be a self-centered bitch, but lets not jump to conclusions.

Alexis diverted her thoughts away from the girl and the boy she has just seen and decided to just keep her attention on her iPod, at least until more people showed up, then she would scurry off to the library, more peaceful then a room full of chatters. Since classes didn't start for another week, might as well just adventure and learn where all her classes are or the nearest exit when she would just want to escape from the bull crap, such as drama, boys anything along the lines with homework and teachers, Alexis would need to find a way to just get out some how, take a break for a bit. But for now, she would just try to focus on school, so she wouldn't even get the idea of skipping out.

 

Elliot pulled up to the school late in her truck. No one was with her, she had already said all of her goodbyes back home; no need for anyone to come with. She parked in front of the dorm building and hopped out of the car, her sweater snagging on the doorway. Unhooking the thread she grabbed a bag from the back and went inside. She rode up quietly in the elevator until it dinged for the third floor, her floor. Elliot walked past the dorms looking for hers and finally she found room 25. Inside, her roommate hadn’t moved in yet, she wondered what kind of person she would get. She moved her stuff up from the car and took the time to unpack it all, taking the bed on the right side of the room. Elliot then grabbed a book from her stuff and went downstairs into the main area to read.
Downstairs in the community area there were a few people milling around, some at the counter and a circle of couches where a couple people were sitting. She chose the couches because they looked really comfy. She sat down and curled up in the corner of one a few seats away from another girl and started reading.

 

Alexis looked up and noticed someone sitting on the couch across from her. Some boy, nonetheless. Whatever. He had brown, almost spiky hair, but it needed a few more adjustments if he were trying to make it happen. He looked so out of focus and oblivious as to what was going on around him.

Alexis also noticed that the two from the bar left towards the library. Oh, nice. Already a hot hook up and it is not even the first day. At least that's what Alexis thought of it. they looked so into each other it was not even funny. Gotta love college.

Alexis shifted in her chair and crossed her legs, playing Solitare on her iPod in her lap now. Soon, people would start leaving and then it would be good to move somewhere else right? No, no one was leaving and even if someone did, someone else took their place. It was crowding and not one guy caught her interest.
