Alex was just heading to the library when Sarah bumped into him. "Sorry..." she mumbled. "It's fine." he said, knowing completely the fight between her and October. Him and October had been Bestfriends since 5th grade, and he had grown a bit protective of her. He didn't want to be rude to Sarah, but he also didn't want her being a total a-hole to October. "Listen, I know about the fight between you and October, but you can't just change yourself and expect friendship, especially from someone sensitive like October." With that, he walked towards the library, wether or not Sarah wanted to follow him he didn't care. All he cared about was standing up for Oct, and seeing if the library had any new books on filmmaking.

Alex may have tried to say the right thing, but he only angered Sarah even more. She had always been the way she was right now, she had changed for October. But despite everything she wasn't happy that way. Elijah had made her see that. Who was Alex to judge her like that? She stalked him back into the library and confronted him.

"Listen, I don't know what ideas you got from October, but you don't know anything about me. So don't go saying stuff you don't know about. Never judge a book by it's cover don't you know that? Hell, you and I have been at this place together since freshman year, So you knew I was like this before I was friends with her. " She didn't know why October was getting under her skin like this today. Why after an entire year was she coming back to haunt her? Why couldn't she just leave Sarah the hell alone and let her go on in peace? Why did they share this bond of anger? It made no sense to her at all.

October walked past the library on her way to class. When she saw Sarah she quickened her walk. She really didn't feel like getting suspended or anything on her first day of school. It didn't really make any sence to October. How was Sarah the one who changed for her? It seems as if she were telling everyone that now. October didn't want anyone to change. She was perfectly fine with everybody being themselves. It just seemed as if she were trying to change and please everyone, and then act as if she were better than her. October laughed in her mind. Sarah would be the one to think that. It's funny the things people say to make them seem as if they were the ones everyone was picking on. Thats not even it.

October walked into her Trig class and sat towards the back left corner as she normally did every class she sat into. The teachers didn't seem to care, they just looked as her weird as if she were some ant-socila freak. October felt uncomfortable and the thought. It wasn't that she was anti-social, she just never really had a big circle of friends,a nd there was no one who would actually take the time out to walk up and talk to her. As for the freak part, October just gets offended everytime that is said.

There are somedays where she wants to scream out to the world her feeling and just wants somebody there to comfort her, but then she thinks a bit deeper and about the people who would actually be there for her. Maybe no one. Especially her father. Some days October wishes she could run away, her father wouldn't even notice, but it's not like anyone would notice. All they see is the bright fake smile she wears everyday.

Sarah stormed up to him and started yelling at him the minute he opened a book. He turned to her. " I don't know what you are talking about, I've known you for years, and you were different until you met October. Then, you tried to change your personality, which I didnt see a problem with in the first place, all so that you could be friends with October. The irony of it? I didn't have to change my personality, and weve been best friends for years. You two would have been friends if you didnt do that, now quit acting like its her fault, suck it up and go think about it. When your done thinking, you should go talk to October." When he was done, he put the book in his backpack and walked towards his first class.

OOC: just to clear up any confusion, Alex didnt see a problem with Sarah's personality in the first place, not her changing.

OOC: ahh well played Xeren, you shot down Sarah's crazy expertly. and now, I can develop her in a new direction. This will be fun. >:3

IC: With Alex rebuttal, Sarah froze. She was stunned. October had been right. Sarah was a total bitch. She had no friends and she treated others like dirt. I have no friends at all. The phrase seemed to echo inside her head. It was as if nothing else mattered.

Sarah skipped her first class, this wasn't unusual, but she just wanted time to herself to think. Elijah was the only person in her life who understood her, and liked her. She had changed for October because she knew that her real self wasn't a good influence on her, that her personal darkness would only increase the inner darkness inside of October. Two crazies didn't make a sane. But she was dragging herself down to be someone else for October, at least that's what Elijah had said.

Could Elijah have been wrong? Maybe October had given Sarah an opportunity to be a better person, and she had spit it in her face. It was too late to redeem herself then.

I have no friends. She realized that humans needed bond with other humans to survive, and the only good bong she had was with Elijah. But it wasn't enough. No one liked her, no one would ever like her. What was the point of living. She remembered there was a time before when she had tried to end it all. Her parents would often fight all the time, and a few times her father had blamed Sarah for their dysfunctional family. He made her feel like she was less than dirt, every day of her life.

One day she couldn't take anymore. She pulled out a knife and tried to slit her wrists, but she hadn't made the cut deep enough, and fainted at the sight of blood. when her mother found her, she was rushed to the hospital, and was saved. Now once again, she felt like life just wasn't worth it. No one would ever like her, and Elijah wouldn't be around forever.

She pulled off the Yin sign that was hanging around her neck. The end was sharp, maybe sharp enough to cut. She breathed out slowly, and applied the edge to her arm. With one swift motion it ran along her wrist, and a wound opened. However, once again she had failed to make the cut deep enough to kill her quickly, the pendant wasn't big enough to kill her. At the sight of her own blood she fainted, dropping the necklace, and falling to the floor, blood slowly oozing out of her arm.

OOC: Someone (Anyone) find her, I'd rather not leave her there bleeding, and She needs to have that cut treated. I didn't specify the location, but keep in mind it's deserted and out of the way.

October sighed and quickly retreated from her seat. Her Trig teacher wanted her to pick up some books from the library. At first she was hesitant because she has seen Sarah in the library, yelling at somebody, obviously. But the pool of the window was blocking the other person out of view. Maybe a by standing student looking at her too long, no doubt. Even though she was weary of entering the library, she didn't want to seem afraid just because she was in the library. Don't let your personal life interupt your school life! October thought to herself.

October walked down the hallway and entered the library. It was quiet. Maybe a bit too quiet for a library. Was a library supposed to have a quiet level. The quieter the better I guess. October scanned the book cases and grabbed the books her teacher had instructed her to get. On her way towards the front desk, October saw a girl slumped over on the floor from the corner of her eye. At first she didn't think anything of it, but then she saw the black clothes and raven colored hair. October turned her head slightly and looked at the Sarah. She really out done her self didn't she? October thought.

Deep down October was offended by the actions Sarah was portraying. Was she seriously being brought down and in honest need of help, or was she just pulling another one of her schemes to make people feel bad for her. Either way, October wasn't just going to let her sit there and die. Or maybe she could? October shook the image away from her black haired head. She set the books on a near by table and walked cautiously up to Sarah. Probably the only reason why October would even help her was because October had her own history of ruining herself. The only reason why she ever stopped was because Alexander was there to help her through everything. Where was Elijah when Sarah needed help?

October knelt down next to Sarah and wearingly shook her shoulder to see if she wasn't dead yet. Her body was still moderately warm, so she obviously wasn't dead. October stood up and went behind the librarians desk and grabbed the First-Aid kit. She scrummaged though everything until she found a bandage and wound cleanser. She took Sarahs wrist and applied the cleanser on it, carefull as to not hurt Sarah in the process. Afterwards, she took the gauze wrap and losely-yet tightly-wrapped her wounds. October still felt feedish about helping one of the people she would lastly help in her life time, but she wasn't going to just sit there and let her die either. Theres just somethings you need to do, whether you regret them or not.

When Sarah woke up, her wound was treated, and the blood cleaned up. She looked around her. There was no one there. So then who had treated her wound? Who had cared enough to at least not let her die, and ask for no thanks. Did...did someone care after all? It couldn't be Elijah, he wasn't at the school anymore. Then who? Either way Sarah began to second guess her choice. If someone cared to save her, maybe there was hope yet.

She got to her feet, and walked out of the library, keeping her eyes downcast, and her hand over the bandage, she walked alone to her next class.

October walked back to her Trig class in a questionable manner. Did she do the right thing in helping Sarah out? What if Sarah found out it was her and she came after her or something thinking as if she were making fun of her. How is that going to help anything in this situation? October sighed and set the books on her teachers desk, retreating back into her desk in the back of the classroom. Everyone gawked at her "abnormal" appearance. Which October was used to it butit did get rather annoying. Some people just love labeling other people at at times it was offensive. Even though she had helped Sarah, she felt strongly offended by her actions. She may have done it before, but everytime she did Alexander had said he would become distant, and since he was her only real friend, she had stopped. But seeing Sarah, questions went through her mind. Like, Why would she do this in school? Does she want people to feel bad for her? Lack of attention? October has never portrsayed those actions in school, why all of a sudden does Sarah feel the need to. The least she could have done was lock herself in a stall. And what was that pendant? Was it the same one that her and Elijah shared. And what about this Elijah character? Why is he not keeping an eye out for Sarah.

October sat emotionless in her seat. One thing she hasn't thought over since her fight with Sarah. Maybe Sarah wasn't that bad of a person. Maybe she needed someone real inher life that would be there for her in situations like now. But October couldn't be the one. In all honesty, October loved having a friend she can relate to besides Alexander, but she couldn't come out and admit that. Especially to Sarah. October rested her chin on her hands and took a deep inaudible sigh.

All throughout class, Alex was thinking. Why wernt more people worried about the 06-06-06 thing? He was worried sick, not just about himself. Then he began to wonder, what if nobody believed it? I mean, if they did, they wouldnt be in school right now, they would be at home living the last two days of their life in comfort. Everything left his head though when class ended. He walked over to where October has her Trig class, and sure enough, she was sitting in the back corner, as always. He sat in the desk next to her, being able to see the obvious look of deep though on her face. He decided to wait for her to quit thinking before he said anything, she usually got mad at him for interrupting. After a good five or ten minutes of him just sitting around waiting on October, he finally decided that he had better talk to her before next class. "Hey October." He tilted his head to the side just a little, asking "What's bothering you? you look like something is disturbing you, like... Crazy."

October snapped out of her deep thought. She looked over to Alexander and sighed. "Just thinking about something." October couldn't tell him anything that she had witnessed with Sarah. That is her personal buisness and she couldn't spread the word around to everyone about her incident. But it was bothering her. She wanted to get advice from somebody on if she should tell somebody and get her help. But would someone suspect it was October? Or would Sarah be the first in mind. October clenched her fists and put her head down on her crossed arms.

October wanted to do the right thing, but she was afraid of the outcome and what people would continue to think or act. Maybe they would think she was crazy. Why is all this pressure magically seeming to drop itself on her shoulders?!

    OOC- SORRY THIS POST WASNT THAT LONG ; ;

Alex was a little disappointed that he wouldn't find out what was making her think so much, but he didn't care. Mostly because, he was pretty sure he already knew what it was. "It had to have been something to do with Sarah, maybe she went to October and apologized or something." he thought. He didn't really care what had happened, as long as her and October made up. He smiled, thinking he had helped, but the look on Octobers face told him differently. His smile slowly faded. He decided not to ask, and instead tried to help. "Do you wanna go do something? Maybe cheer you up a bit? Something to take your mind off of what is bothering you."

October shook her head over her crossed arms. She couldn't lie to her best friend. She never lied to him before. Well, she never told her home story to him, but that was better than lying. October mumbled a few unknown words into her crossed arms. She knew she couldn't tell him because he would make a big deal about it. And why was he smiling? This situation was obviously not funny. How could it be funny? All October did was take care of someones wounds. That must show that she wasn't a bad person, but then why was she having all this sort of regret? It just doesn't make sense. She helped Sarah, wasn't that good enough? Now she felt bad about it? Even if she died, October would still feel bad about it. There is no way of winning here. Not that winning ever mattered, but in someways, it sort of did. Sarah alwasy made her feel like she was nothing. October didn't want to feel like that. Which lead to another thing. October really liked Sarah, she never used ot be like this. Maybe Elijah had something to do with it. She always seemed to be sucking up to him. October hoped that that wasn't the case. Even though she does seem to be a b*tch at times, she does deserve more than that.

Alex let out a deep sigh. He understood that October was going through a lot, but he was quite tired of have gone through first class and hardly haven talked to her. He crossed his arms across his desk and laid his head down. After sitting there for a minute, he had enough. He snapped his fingers in front of October's face. "Snap out of it crazy, you'll miss your chance to talk to me." He leaned back in his chair. "Could you tell me what's bothering you?"

October lifted her head and looked at Alexander. She widened her eyes and looked at him as if he had killed someone. Well, he killed her deep thoughts that she was trying to figure out. Was she to lie to him? Maybe. It's hard to do considering she was kind of a bad liar. "I just have a headache and I didn't get much sleep last night." October rolled the situation off of her shoulders and hoped that he would believe her. She didn't want to get into some long story about what had happened with Sarah. It wasn't even any of her business to spread any way. And if word got out. . . October shuddered at the thought. . . Sarah would most definetly make her life a living hell, as if that weren't bad enough. October just sighed inaudibley again looked at the black board, as the teacher was just now walking in.

Alex sighed. Next class was coming up. He realized they only had a few minutes, either they go now, or wait till next class. "Oh, that sucks." He said to October. "I didnt get much sleep either." The teacher walked into the room and started writing things on the black board. "Well Oct, do you want to do something, or just go to our next class?"

OOC: Sorry about this post being short, I didnt really have much stuff to work with.

October sighed, followed by rolling her eyes. "No, I'm just going to go to class." October didn't feel like skipping class although it would have been fun. . . But, maybe. . . "Hmm, maybe. I-I guess, but where would we go?" October contemplated on where they would go. Nothing seemed interesting in this small town. October would rather be at home. Doing random things. Nothing special at least. Then she remembered what her dad had done this morning. She quickly checked her lip in the reflection off of her phone. It wasn't bleeding. The scab should soon grow over. She sighed and layed her cheeck on her arm. October would hate to go home and have her father hit her, especially in front of Alexander, since he didn't know the full story behind her strange bruises, scars, and scratches and now, a busted lip. There were just many things she didn't want people to know, more-less see. It would be humiliating, something her dad would probably want. . .

Alex thought for a moment. He had noticed the bruises cuts and scabs, and he knew slightly about her father. So, going to her house was out of the question, his mom would kill him if he went home, so that's not possible. Then he realized, he may only have a few days to do something. "We could, go to a forest or something? There's... Something I wanted to talk to you about." He looked at her and smiled. "Somewhere that we don't have to worry about, people, or drama, even for just a few minutes. I want to exclude ourselves from this world for just a few minutes, and just spend time as friends."

October brightened a bit, and slightly lifted her head. Alexander and her have not been able to spen much quality time with one another for quite a while. She kind of missed her best friend and wanted to be able to talk to him before whatever happened, or didn't happen. October smiled a bit, but not as much of a smile as she was used to creating. She really hasn't been herself lately, and didn't feel much of smiling. "Sure. I guess it would be nice to just get away from these people." October contemplated on when they would be going. "I'm not to keen on skipping the rest of the day. . . Erm, but I guess I could skip. Just this once." October set her chin back onto her crossed arms and wondered what is it that Alexander had wanted to talk about.

Alex smiled. "Good." With a quick glance to the teacher, he grabbed Octobers hand and walked out the door. He started to think. "Does she know what I want to tell her?" He let go of Octobers hand and turned to her. "I want you to remember, what I am going to tell you wasn't supposed to be said for another couple years, but I am afraid of what will come in a few days, okay?" He scratched his neck as they walked outside. "Your car, or my bike?"

October was about to start yelling at him. The least he could do was wait until class was over, now he was putting them both at risk for just up and leaving in the middle of an almost started class. The last thing she wanted to do was get caught for skipping. "I'd rather take my car." October said through gritted teeth. Alexander was always reckless and practically stupid around her. Maybe he thought she liked the 'bad boy' type. October wouldn't lie, she did, but there is a difference between a bad boy and a boy that just acts on stupid instincts. "Now, what do you want to tell me?" October asked Alexander, while walking to the front doors of the two story building.
