    So little late to the party on this, but I recently played TWEWY (The World Ends With You for those who don't know) and I want peoples personal opinions on the game. Maybe discuss how they feel about the upcoming character cameos in 3ds.

    Just what was your overall impression, did you like certain characters but hate others, did you like the story, ect.

    Give me your thoughts.

    I loved it, it was kinda slow at times for me but it had a good story and i enjoyed palying with Neku alot. Im soooo excited to see them in the next KH i almost screamed like a fan girl when i saw they were gonna be in it! I laughed soo hard cuz everybody always said how close sora and neku resembled.

    The game was amazing I loved the art, the story the characters and there developments, this was one of the reasons why I loved S.E. They should honestly make more games like this if they want to do well. I honestly hope for a TWEWY 2 game and have the characters from the original play a small part in it.

    If there is a TWEWY 2 I doubt the original characters will play a part, save for Joshua, Hanekoma and possibly a few reapers. Uzuki and Kariya come to mind. Neku could make a small cameo I suppose to please fans, but I would respect the writers more if the sequel had an all new Player cast, without relying on old characters.

    Well kind of like how TWEWY was after you beat the main story, there was a thing after that you could do. That kind of extended the story a bit. They could possibly fit that in there along with Neku, and the gang.

    well that was technically a parallel universe. I think it was were the main story's Joshua went after he took Sho's final attack in week 2. I'm not even sure if the same laws of TWEWY apply in that universe.

    ah my bad its been a while since I played TWEWY. alot of people have been discussing the next location should either be in Germany or the US. But it has to be a place where its very populated if it wants to do as well as the original.

    I say why not Shibuya again? I see no reason why they need to change to a new UG ground.

    Well even if its Shibuya again they might want to extend the areas a bit more. Sure it'll be Nostalgia all over again, but I know some people when they get games with the same locations they get bored with it faster. I mean I would love for Shibuya again, but as long as they make it 3D, and update some of the things. Then I'll be fine with that location again :)

    I would like to see some fully voiced cutscenes. I mean poor Rhyme didn't get ONE line of dialogue. all she did was gasp and giggle.

    I literally cried when she got killed by the noise :( and the way Neku acted towards that too was sad. Well we should get some VA time in the KH DDD game, so this will give us some idea of what she sounds like.

    I retract my previous statement. I just played through the game again, and in the VERY last cutscene she says "Over Here!" calling out to Neku.

    Rhyme got the best VA in KH3D out of everyone in the TWEWY cast in my opinion. Beat's VA was pretty good as well.

    I think the new TWEWY, if there's going to be one, should be set in Japan(but not Shibuya again), US, or even England- we have a few areas similar to Shibuya, like the Picadilly Circus. There's a lot of backstory behind the Picadilly Circus as well; a lot of children run away to that area. Wherever it's set, though, it needs to be urban and slightly gritty, otherwise it won't feel like TWEWY.

    It'd be nice if Neku made a small cameo- even if it's just a Reaper mentioning him in a cutscene- but it won't be necessary as long as the characters are interesting, because the characters are what made TWEWY so good.

    On a side note, I'm surprised Taboo Sho hasn't posted here yet.

    Well first off, If the new TWEWY (assuming it exists) is set in a new area, then Neku wont get mentioned at all, The secret reports make it sound like there's a different Composer for every area, and that Joshua only rules only Shibuya. I could very easily be wrong, and if I am, I'll actually be very happy.

    Also, yes, the DDD Voice actors for the TWEWY cast were fantastic! Rhyme alone was enough to make me explode with happiness, and when Beat did his "BWAAAAAAH" noise, it got a big laugh out of me. I also enjoyed the reference to the light puck they made.
