Fairy Tale Wars

Irving winced a little as he laughed lightly at Laurel's comment as he grabbed ahold of the blade of the mad girl's knife, cutting into his palm as he pulled the knife away carefully from scaring up his bleeding leg anymore, "So, I either give Kitt her pills or you kill me without knowing where her pills are? That's a bit harsh if you're going to make her suffer even m-"

"Shut up Newt and tell me where my medicine is!" Kitt said stomping her ground annoyed as she stood there not liking the fact that she was seeing turtles with snail shells walking around and heard butterflies singing really cheesy and terrible songs. She knew the hallucinations got bad, but she never knew they could get this weird though.

Irving looked up at the girl as she pouted looking down at him as he let out a small sigh and scratched the back of his head, "Oh come on Kitt, don't be a sour puss about this all. Your pills are in a small safe box, within the bad that I had brought with me today."
He gestured his hand back to the small brown satchel that was left on the wooden bench untouched.

 

Irving grounded her teeth as he laid back in the dirt, feeling aches and pains running his leg with the fact that Laurel in combat boots was a deadly combination on his leg, and the lemonade was not making it any better.

Kitt, in the meanwhile not noticing all the deadly scenarios happening around her, has went over to the nearby wooden bench and looked at the satchel to pull out a small black combination safe.
Of course this dummy would make me work hard for my medication, Kitt thought to herself before one of her hallucinations, a baby giraffe with wings, started making noises and gestured to something behind her back.

When Kitt turned around, she felt her body have a sudden chill run down her spine as she saw Laurel stab Kinji and torturing Irving with all of her 'causes'. She closed her eyes for a moment trying to shake the thought from her head before she remembered that this was going to be like this either way, being deadly and just total madness.
She held onto the safe in her hands as she picked herself up and carefully made her way to Laurel and Irving, seeing him still agonizing in pain in the dirt, being more bloody than she saw him a minute ago.
"Combination Newt?" Kitt asked politely as he looked up at her for a moment as a smile came onto his face as he tried to not think about the pain, "Kitt, come on it's easy. It's your own name, like I'd make it difficult for you."

 

Irving sat himself up as his legs shook as he tried to pull his leg towards him, "Ok, even I know that the explosion shouldn't have done that much damage to you Joshy-poo." Kitt ignored Irving's comment as she sighed putting in the combination before the small safe clicked open and sitting inside of there was a small stash of 5 or 6 bottles of pills in there.

"Wait, Irving.. where did you get all these pills from again? My doctor right?" Kitt asked as Irving nodded as he struggled to get himself up on his one good leg, "Yeah, you forgot to pick them up a few days ago, so I went ahead and got ahold of them myself." Kitt closed the safe up, not taking a bottle of pills out as she smiled a little trying to help Irving to stand up without falling back over in the dirt, "I think we need to get you boys all patched up, just so you aren't all bleeding all over my clothes."

 

Some of the paramedics helped Kitt as she brought Irving onto another stretcher. "Well, at least you guys will be a bit patched up and well, right?" Kitt said trying to stay optomistic as Irving shook his head sighing before placing a hand on his forehead, "Even if we are patched up, it'll be a damn miracle if we even make it through the night.. Mostly with our little game starting tonight, there are no rules on sneak attacks on anyone injured.."

Kitt's fake smile was brought down as she sighed scratching the back of her head as the paramedics started loading those who were injured into the ambulances that were provided. "I know that... Well, I guess there's no point in trying to stop what is going to start," Kitt muttered as the blonde laughed lightly before wincing a little because one of the paramedics stook something on his injured leg.

"Don't worry. Just get home and stay safe 'nd sane. You'll do fine, well.. probably better than me and these lot," Irving snickered as he gestured to the others that were either in the ambulance with him, or were in the other medical truck parked nearby.

Kitt nodded as she grabbed ahold of Irving's bag from the park bench and looked at the safe in her hands. She shuffled around a bit for her cellphone to see that it was at least 3:45 pm. The first night was supposed to start in 4 hours, so she had no time to lose. She turned around and waved to Irving and the others that were either injured or just standing about before she took off back home where she was this morning.

All she knew was that if she didn't get home or there happened to be more surprise attacks out of the blue from anyone else in her class, she knew that she was going to be dead on the spot.

 

Kitt just stood there a little uttered confused as Laurel hugged her, surprised that the girl had gotten ahold of her before she left.
"I'm... I'm sorry Laurel, I didn't mean to scare everyone like t-that!" She said waving her hands in some defense as she was mentally freaking out seeing the girl, that was swinging a knife around like a maniac earlier, broken down in tears and crying her eyes out.

"I... I know that I should of met Newt in private like this, and mostly alone, but I just... What I needed to do just needed to be in... private for some reasons of course," Kitt said trying to reassure the girl, but she was doing a very terrible job as she knew that what she did could of gotten herself killed.
But with Irving bothering her and "stealing" her medication, she had no choice but tag along in his little game, mostly when he hasn't shown any interest in trying to strike her down yet, which she found a little odd, but she just figured that he would show his true colors at night.

"Well look Laurel, i'm perfectly fine, and I promise that I'll try to not meet Irving in private again, but knowing how he toys with us all, I wouldn't be surprised if I'd have to be stuck in another "private" meeting with him," Kitt said trying to say calm as she grabbed Laurel's shoulders before pulling the girl in a hug to calm down her. She looked away for a second and smiled at the girl before taking her sweater and wiping her good friend's face away with her tears, "Everything will be alright now Laurel. You don't always have to worry about me!"

 

Kitt just looked down at Laurel before a sudden rush of anger just swept over her body before she brought her hair up and slapped Laurel across the face pretty hard, "I'M NOT THAT WEAK LAUREL! I'M STRONGER THAN THAT!"
Apparently, Kitt's brain was so transfixed on the first part of Laurel's sob story of if Kitt died, that her mind had pushed away the part about Laurel confessing her love to her and her uncontrollable repeated whispering.

The angered girl pulled Laurel up to her feet by the front of her shirt as she snapped at the pink haired girl just laying it out on her all of her frustrations, "Laurel, you're a really nice person, a bit mean at times, but I know that you will probably do better than me. Hell, maybe you'll still be alive by the end of this all! All I know is that I've done my best the last month to get better, stronger, at least able to defend myself if any of the others was supposed to kill me."

"But seriously Laurel, can't you at least have some fucking faith in me to at least survive a few days before someone decides to strike down on me?!" Kitt shouted at the girl, feeling her own face getting wet as she stood there loosening her grip on Laurel's shirt before she tried blinking back more tears as she stood there bringing her hands down by her side, balling them up and digging her nails into her skin.

"Laurel... I'm scared... I'm scared of all of this, but.... I just... I don't want to do this, but this is... Wait... What did you say about you loving me?" Kitt asked as she felt the rage slowly leaving her clouded mind as she was starting to rethink on what Laurel had just said.

"Hey, Kinji! Wait up for a second!" Irving called out as he rolled into the Stonecutter's room in a wheelchair that he was pushing himself in as he had his legs all bandaged up and looked at the boy a little cheeky.
He rolled over in his wheelchair to the kid and gestured to the chair and explained, "They got the bullet out, but everything else is just small scratches and scars. Want me to go get your release forms so you can get outta here?"

 

Kitt just stood there as she felt her brain completely shut down for the slightest second before she pulled away from Laurel looking at her with the most confused look on her face. "I...... Uh....." Kitt couldn't comprehend her thoughts that she just turned around on her heels and started walking away from Laurel in a daze.

Kitt couldn't even figure out what just happened with why Laurel had confessed to her all of the sudden, maybe just as a plot to get on her good side before Laurel killed her off? Kitt tried to shake her mind clear before she stopped in her tracks still feeling Laurel's warmth from her lips still on her lips. Wait. Laurel...... kissed.... her. Laurel kissed... her.

The emotions just went flying again as Kitt turned around to face the scary girl with a mixed expression of embarrassment and anger on the girl's face.
"Laurel, you... you bitch! I can't believe you just stole a kiss from me like that!" Kitt snapped as she walked over to the girl and raised her hand to slap her across the face again.

Irving just rolled himself over to the window where Kinji had jumped out of before sighing and shaking her head, "Sheesh, at least I'm trying to get on your good side.." Irving looked around to see if any doctors were walking around before he headed back into the hallway and rolled a few doors down and peeked inside the room with a big sneaky grin on his face, "Well, well. Looks like he's still sleeping. I guess I can leave a small surprise."

The blonde took one more look around the hallway to make sure no one would catch him as he snuck into Joshua's ward, knowing that he was probably hurt the most during the mini-explosions back in the park.

 

Kitt snatched her hand out of Kinji's grip, at least trying to get a grip on her emotions as she bit down on her tongue, not wanting to respond to what Kinji said about treating Laurel like garbage.
It's not that she wanted to be shocked one moment and enraged the next! She wanted to blame the dementia for her violent moment there, but she knew better than trying to make excuses up for her actions. Kitt's head did perk up in some slight relief when Kinji said that Irving and Joshua were all ok.

"Well.. I guess there's some good news out of all of this then," Kitt muttered trying to avoid eye contact with them as she held onto the bag in her grasp as she took a walk past the two.
"You guys should get ready for tonight at the least. Kinji, I know that you're right about me acting out towards Laurel like that, but it's just... I don't even know how to say it, but I know I wasn't in the right place in mind. Laurel, I...." Kitt stopped for a moment with her back turned to them not even sure what to say to her friend, who just confessed to her. Kitt let out a small sigh as she spoke, "I'll talk with you later. I have to go get ready for tonight."
And with that said, Kitt just took off, trying to run as fast as she could hoping that her friends didn't follow or try to catch up with her.

Irving was just leaving the hospital in his new wheel chair as he started rolling down the sidewalk, thankful that no one was driving down the street or he'd be smashed in an instant. He thought about what he had just did within Joshua's room, leaving him a small note and surprise when he wakes up, but it occurred to him of what would happen if he accidentally violated one of his own rules.

Oh there shouldn't be so much of a problem with it. But for now, I should probably get ready & make sure that Kitt or any of the others are all set for tonight, Irving thought to himself as he rolled himself down the street and taking a turn at one of the intersections, hopping his way back onto the sidewalk
