    RPs confused me too, basically an RP is much like a group story, you create a character by filling out an application (not a paper) it may look something like this,

    Name
    Age-
    Gender-
    Appearance-
    Personality-
    Abilities-
    Weapon-
    etc-

    But I personally believe the best way to learn how to RP is by reading the rules and following your instinct, that's how I started.
