Games You Had to Buy Multiple Times

    I'm placing this in the "Gaming Section" because it relates to video games and all.

    Now I'm sure I'm not the only person who has this dilemma : Having to re-purchase certain games for various reasons. You might have to re-buy a game because the original broke, has so many scratches that the poor gaming system just can't read it anymore, or you have a strange fetish for collecting a certain video game and own like 10 copies of it. ( Don't worry, I'm a freak, I won't judge you ;) ) But whatever the reason may be, the fact of the matter is that you had to buy a certain video game multiple times and I'm curious as to who else had to do this.

    So what games have you bought multiple times and why ?

    The reason why this topic came to my mind is because I'm going to have to buy Kingdom Hearts for the fourth time; My game literally keeps breaking on me which forces me to purchase another one. Now, I have some games that I've been playing for eight years and they're just fine, but KH is a completely different story. Maybe it's because I play it more often than all my other ones so it ends up chipping away at the disk and after some time it finally snaps, but it's mentally draining. KH is stubborn for me, however, I always replace the game because I enjoy it too much.

    -_- My FFX is messed up and my Dark Cloud 2 would not play for some reasons... and my FFX-2 would not play any cutscenes so that will be three gaems taht I will have to re-purchase. I still have them; just have to buy a better version. :D I shoudl aim for the international!

    I had to re-buy Xenosaga because my Playstation 2 made contact with the floor, Xenosaga 3 and Star Ocean: Till the End of Time because the 2 disks of either of them wouldn't work and Bayonetta for not letting me even reach the main title.

    Light&dark Salute 2 dem hatas moffo!

    My Shadow the Hedgedhog had messed up the first when i had it on gamecube (stupid gamecube)
    Then i got it again for the gamecube thats when i noticed that all the games i got on gamecube always messed up and the last time i got it again it was on playstation 2 and its still working

    My stepsister decided it'd be cool to open the playstation, pull out Kingdom Hearts II and, ready for this one?

    She used her nails to scratch the disk! Of course my parents did nothing about it. I still have the original but because of her my disk is ruined and to make matters worse she deleted my 100% "Proud" Files for KH AND KH II!

    when it came out the first day in america i had multiple people buy it for me
    i ordered one for myself
    2 of my friends got me 2
    my brother got me a copy
    my father got me a copy
    so i had 5 FFVII: Dirge of Cerebus copies ^.^

    :confused: Don't you think that is too many copies though? :D Why not pawn at least three of those or trade those three at GameStop?

    I had to re-purchase Zone of The Enders and Ratchet And clank 1 both for the PS2.My cousin broke ZOTE a few years ago while my older sister, (who hates my guts) broke Ratchet and Clank quite on purpose about a month ago. I was lucky enough to buy both of them again at the MCM Expo I attended today :)

    As they were gifts, the only one i would feel comfortable selling is the copy i purchased myself, and i forgot which one that one was :D Never bad to have a few backups though, back when i was 14 i hadda buy Kingdom Hearts 4 different times :D

    DO NOT LET ANYONE BORROW SOMETHING YOU WOULDNT CARE ABOUT LOOSING
