Oswald replied. "Do not be ashamed to be brave. I just want all as many people as possible to make it out of this war alive. What is Bartimaeus anyways?"

I smirked at the boys words. "Bad . .or good. No one really knows. I don't even know." I said starting to walk where the camp was. "You guys better start following. I'm not stopping to go back and bring back two chewed heartless toys." I barked back.

 

"I see the camp up ahead," Oswald said. A good part of being in the army was marching. He made a note to request aircraft in the future. It could really wear on morale to have these long walks everywhere.

 

Zerieths mouth dropped. "Oh god what is that thing?" The chimmera turned to him. Zerieth swore then got knocked out of the air.

Oswald smiled. "I'm glad you are happy. I'm going to get the mail. You round up the troops. Maybe some fellas will get lucky and can go home." Oswald headed toward the mail section.
The amount of mail was very large. It can in from a strange machine. Oswald thought it was some sort of world transcending radio. The mail bag was filled with care packages and letters from home. Oswald counted four honorable discharges, and two leave of absence notices. Most importantly, Oswald took out his letter. It had the Disney crest on it. It was also thick. His ears perked up when he saw it.
I will finally be rich.

Oswald noticed a large amount of papers being sent out. Draft Notices they said in bold red ink. He gulped. This is going to be a long war.

"You just may be in charge of me...for now." I mummbled looking at all the mail the other boy was going threw. He seemed to stop to look at something, but I didn't even bother asking what by now. This war had stopped and started up again out of the blue threw out time.

 

Oswald walked out and shouted. "Mail Call!" A majority of soldiers and officers crowded around him. Oswald handed out letters and care-packages. He handed out the leave of absences, and those two officers thanked him. He handed out the honorable discharges, and three of the men were shocked. They believed their duty was to the front. The fourth man looked like he would cry of joy.

"What I mean is," I started."once I'm finished with whatever you ask me to do I'm outa here." I then smirked as i sat down. "Sometimes you humans are so hopeless..."

Husky watches as zerieth is bashed into the nearby tower. watching as it crumbles husky turns to the chimara as he is wacked by the tail and sent flying. he gets up holding his torso. *cough,cough* "that bastard.."

Oswald doesn't care about these two talking about how hopeless things are. Oswald opens his letter. He wonders if he should read the letter or the check first. Oswald quickly decides to look at the check. It's about...eighty years back-payment and he only asked for two.
Oswald is very happy. It's obvious to anyone looking at him. So Oswald decides to put the check in the safe before he wastes it all. After he's sure it's safe, he goes to the barracks and begins working on a crossword puzzle.

 

Husky looks at zerieth with a blank look on his face. he's faced beings like this before. he was also positive zerieth had a little experience as well. considering his status. husky gets up and brushes himself off. "yo! zerieth he's all yours."

 

"Oh thanks!" He shouts back sarcastically. He looks back at the chimera. "Weak points, weak points." He murmers to himself as he looks for any weakness's. Seeing none he decides to let himself loose. "This'll be fun." Zerieth says dryly and transforms his keyblade into a hand and a half sword in one hand and a largy scythe in the other. "I suppose my name does mean the 'Bringer of Death'." He thinks and then attacks.

He shoots forward sending a wave of energy out of his scythe. The chimera blocks and tries to land a hit on Zereith but Zerieth vanishes only to appear on the other side of it. "Light may be fast but Death is always faster." He shouts and then calls out, "Lost souls forgotten in Twilight. Prepare to meet a new one with the same fate to fall into eternal darkness! Spirit art 12, White Lightening Flash, and Spirit art 78, Reapers Final Swing!" At his words he razes his now glowing left hand, which his holding the scythe, and releases a collosal burst of lightening energy. While the Chimera is stunned he zooms forward and slices it in half with a now glowing sword. The chimera shrieks and vanishes.
