Fairy Tale Wars OOC/SU

"And they lived happily ever after," The bright and cheerful teacher said closing the storybook of Jack and the Beanstalk as she looked at all the young kindergardeners sitting patiently on the rug before her. "Yay! Great story Miss Em!" One of the boys said throwing his hands into the air, clapping his hands over their head as a girl whispered to a different boy snickering, "He only thinks that the story was great because the giant didn't eat the hero." The boy just looked at the girl whispering to him before shrugging, "It would of been interesting if the giant did catch the boy."

The young girl sighed as Miss Em stood up from her chair and looked at the kid with a warm smile. "Ok, now go get your snacks and head off to recess!" Most of the kids scrambled from the rug and headed to their lunch boxes and ran for the classroom door. While all the kindergardeners were heading outside, Miss Em walked over to her prized collection of fairy tales and stories to place the Jack and the Beanstalk on the shelf. Miss Em smiled as she loved reading the children stories filled with wondrous adventures, daring heroes, and lovely princesses. She then proceeded to turn off the lights in the classroom and walked the rest of the children outside for recess.

"Hey, you know what would be the best story ever told you guys?" One boy asked as he jumped around the playground as another child looked at him curiously, "The best story ever?"
"Yeah! I mean, what if we were the characters for a fairy tale story?" The boy said as the girl who was snickering in class earlier walked over, holding another boy's hand as she dragged him along with her, "How are we going to do that? We're not old enough to do any of the things that they do in the stories Miss Em read to us!"
"It's easy really. We wait until we grow up! And every single one of us can be part of it as well," The boy said with a grin on his face as the other children were muttering to themselves as they started agreeing with the boy, saying that it does sound like a fun idea.
"Well, ok. So if we do this when we are older, what are we going to call the story?" The girl scoffed standing up tall, being a little snippy for a 5-year old.
All of the children had their eyes glued to the boy that started the conversation in the first place as he looked at everyone with a toothy grin on his face, "Let's call it the Fairy Tale Wars."

The Fairy Tale Wars, was a game that a group of old classmates made up when they were young. They decided that they would have a 'war' and fight each other to achieve the greatest title given to the victor: The Fairest of them All.
After elementary school, these same classmates kept in contact with each other, becoming friends, enemies, allies, and rivals in their normal lives as they were a pretty knitted class. But they all held to the promise that they would soon play their game as soon as they were old enough to have fun.
But what they didn't know, is that their little childhood fantasy game was going to be much more than a game of make believe.

When every single classmate came back to their old elementary school for a class reunion many years later, almost everyone was 18 years old. The boy who first started this wild dream of their game soon explained what the game they were going to be partaking in was all about.
It was going to be a turf war between the different fairy tales characters that they had heard about in the stories that their kindergarden teacher Miss Em had read to them when they were little.
A lot of them were appalled by the idea of a turf war, mostly with some of them were going to be heading off to colleges in cities far away. The boy just laughed at them as he wanted to mention one little thing to them: He was the one that kept in contact with every single one of them, pretty much knowing all of their lives.
He said that if anyone decided to back out, he would reveal their "secrets" to everyone else that was standing on that playground.

This thought horrified a lot of them, making them bite their tongues and forced themselves to play in the game as well.
It's not like this game was going to end their lives if he told their secrets to the rest of their classmates, but the stuff they have done could possibly ruin more than friendships and trust with each other… Right?

The original rules of the Fairy Tale Wars as as followed:
- When involved with other people in the game, you must refer to yourself as your chosen 'Fairy Tale character'.
- Try to make alliances with others if you can. And if there's rivalries between you and another, that makes the games even more fun!
- The game last from sunset to sunrise each session.
- Everyone is to go about their daily business during the day and have normal interactions with your classmates if you do come across them when the game isn't being played.
- Do your best to not involve non-Fairy Tale members into the game or there will be consequences
- Have fun as your fighting for your lives my dear classmates ^_^

Call this role-play what you want, but i think that it could be fun!

So, just a few things that I want to point out to you all before you start making characters and know what i'm asking for in some cases:
= There is no mythical creatures from these fairy tales, everyone is human. Meaning that you could pretty much catch sick with something, injured to a point of disability, bleed to death if help doesn't get to you in time, and so on: like the real world of course ^_^

= The characters will be involved in the turf war that the story is, pretty much revolved around (most of them should be. Don't want to have you killer other's characters off to invoke some type of "revenge" factor by pulling 'out of war' characters in and out of nowhere.)

=Each character is given an alias. These aliases will be of a single fairy tale character's name, depending on their life story, personality, etc. And no two people will have the same character. But if we do come to a problem as if there were a wolf in 2 or 3 different fairy tales, or a good fairy, you'd have to be specific as to what fairy tale story your character is from. And if two people wanted the same fairy tale character, I'll just see who had submit what first and try to compromise with you.

= We're basing the fairy tales characters off of the original stories, from Brothers Grimm and so on. The horror and details of the original fairy tales might could make you character interesting, deadly, or even a good character from how things play out.

= If there's a certain "fairy tale" character you want to do from a certain story, send me a PM or VM & let me know which story their from.

= The character must have an item, being a piece of clothing, or a "signature" weapon/item that relates to your the "fairy tale" part of your character. For example, if you were going to take the character of the Wolf (From whatever fairy tale that does involve wolves), you can probably use a furry jacket, a wolf-shaped symbol, or whatever your guys can think of!

= Try to keep to the site rules and try to post 3-4 lines at the least so people have something to work off of.

@KeyKing Accepted, but you might have to work on your "broken picture" there since it's not showing up.. But other that that, nicely done!

 

@Desifer Nope! Doesn't matter on what type of picture you post, just as long as we have some type of good idea what your character looks like, then anything is fine.

 

@Desifer Accepted, but please fix the title name since I was rolling through the stories for "The Angle" instead of "The Angel", which is the story you chose. It's better if we don't start getting names or letters mixed up now ^_^'

Fairy Tale "Signature": red cape or red hoodie

Appearance: yellow riding hood, with sword by ~zamboze on deviantART

Personality: A bit of a rowdy girl at times but tend to stick her neck out for those close to her, as she's just been a person with a big heart that tends to choose who she trusts carefully.

Background: She never really trusted that boy when he first brought up the idea of the Fairy Tale Wars in the first place, but since the others agreed with him, she had no choice but to get along with the others, even if it did mean just watching out for them in any way possible. She grew up in a small household most of her life with her grandmother and once took care of an injured wolf pup that somehow wandered from the nearby forests to the city until she found it taken away by animal control as it had attacked the neighbor's dog. She took after Red Riding Hood after her experiences with the wolf pup years before and wanted to stand out from the others after all these years.

Their Big "Secret": Kitt was diagnosed with dementia and considered to be deranged after a violent episode involving her grandmother, which resulted in her grandmother bribing her with a place of her own to stay and would pay for her well-being (being rent, food, etc) as long as Kitt stayed away from her, which slowly made her also develop a small case of social anxiety. Kitt knows that if this secret came out, the others would look at her differently, and further deepen her social anxiety if everyone decided to stay away from her.

Also would like to note that if we don't get another... 2 or 3 people to join, we'll probably have to take another character or two just so the roleplay doesn't lack.

Although a small note for BK, I think that the picture for your gun (which I figured is your other weapon of course) has a broken link so you might need to fix that.

 

It probably is something with the computer with how the site is running on here, but if it's fine (or not) with how the others can see it, I'd suggest putting another link to get to the picture just in case.

But that's only if everyone is having the sudden desire or need to see what the gun looks like so they know what's going to be involved in the story.
