Amah was quickly startled by the man's presence. She took a step back and eyed the man down before responding "No, I know exactly where I am going. My parents should be here any moment!" she said brushing the dirt from her body. She gave him one last glance noticing he was not exactly like the denizens of Agaraba. She scampers pasts him slowly leaving a few impressions on the ground. "I better get going!" she said softly.

    Huda shook her head.

"Smells pretty strong.." She continued before noticing the shadows under the door crack outside the door. "Do you want me here, or I can hide in the closet like when we were kids." Huda said watching for the turn of the door knob.

"Hmm... I wonder if I scared her." Gerik muttered, knowing he did exactly that. "And here I thought I was putting up an image of kindness and trustworthiness." He watched the little girl quickly leave him. "Well, if she keeps on leaving tracks like that she won't be too hard to find. Although I wonder why she lied to me. Her parents aren't coming at all. But hey, children are so easy to read when it comes to lies and honesty."

Moving away from his slight encounter with Amah, Gerik continued his wandering of the streets of Agrabah. He eyed the shops he passed by, making a mental note of which people were peddlers and liars and which people and true quality goods. A crystal shop caught his eye. Gerik stopped there and looked at the goods the merchant had. His eyes focused on one object being sold, a necklace with a crystal feather hanging from it. "How much for that?" He asked the merchant.

"I do not wish to sound rude or anything sir, but can a traveler such as yourself afford my goods?" The merchant asked.

"I certainly hope so, being a fairly successful merchant myself." Gerik answered without skipping a beat. He reached into the sack he had hanging from his shoulder and pulled out a blood red ruby. "I believe this should cover the cost." He handed the merchant the gemstone.

"It has been a pleasure doing business with you young master." The merchant smiled as he handed Gerik the necklace.

Gerik nodded and walked off, wrapping the necklace in some cloth. He put the wrapped necklace in a pouch hanging from his side as he continued to look at the different shops around Agrabah. "I suppose Celene might like this gift. Might brighten up that cave she calls home."

"I believe you are best out of sight." Azura responded in a hushed tone as she knew her father was not far off by now. "you know my father when he is angry. I don't want you to get into unnessisary trouble." she explained.

Celene watched the bird fly away with mild interest. The city was far from the caves that they currently reside. She knew it would take hours for the message to reach Gerik and little longer for him to return. For that reason, though she did credit him for speed, she did not expect him back until the following day at earliest. After voicing this opinion to Sho, she added "the cave will vanish soon but not within two days. We need not worry at least for now."

"Now we have all of our pawns we just have to make sure they are in the right places at the right time." Jadeyn thought outloud. Inchenzo, who was back in bird form, flapped his wings once as he answered "I believe that shouldn't be too hard. It looks to me like things are going to play in our favor no matter what we do today." he suggested as he looked over five pools of water that Jadeyn had at his feet, each one projecting a different image due to an incantation. The first one showed the princess speaking with her friend, the second two showed two different boys on the streets, the fourth showed a nomad man outside the palace gates, and the fourth showed the nomads in the cave. Though he couldn't find the cave himself, in spite of years of searching, he could spy on them using magic though nothing he could see would betray their location.

Just then, Azura's bedroom door flew open with a loud crash and three men came in. The first was a large man with a hard, lined, expression and a greying beard.Though he is strong, he was obviously struggeling with some ailment. His face was pale and his eyes appeared sunken in and he seemed to have more trouble than usual doing simple things like walking, his limp was getting more apparent every day. This was the ruler of Agaraba and Azura's father. He was followed by two of his personal guard. Also large men though they were much younger and dressed in the black and white vest and trousers that were the guards official uniform.
"Azura damn it that was the third suitor you've scared away this week." her father raved angrily as he stormed into the room.
"Do you think these men grow on trees!? If you continue to let your personal vendettas to get in your way of chosing a husband or make any other sort of rational decision you are never going to make a good ruler once I pass on and whats worse, the order of this world will not allow you to take control of Agaraba until you do."

Having heard this lecture before, Azura listened silently until her father was finished. "Father. I apologise that things turned out the way they did. But I am not sorry for my actions. If Ali was to shout at a servant for something as little as Huda did it did not show good character for a husband or a ruler. His arrogance will be his undoing and I was not about to tolerate it."

"That is not your choice!" her father interrupted her, in his anger. "The task of finding men I deem worthy of ruling Agaraba is mine and that I do. Your task is only to impress them and assume the throne with their help."

At this comment, Azura was slightly offended. "Father! I am no prize to be won. Nor am I some perk given by my father with leadership of Agaraba. I am the heir to the throne and more than that I am your daughter and a person. If I deem a man unfit to rule by my side that IS my choice." she argued.

"If you were a son, these things would be true. But you are not and your actions today would be inexcusable either way." her father answered in a much lower, dangerous tone. He then succomed to a fit of coughing. All in the room patiently went silent as though nothing was happening. When he recovered he looked back to Azura. "You are to handle this task properly the next time I bring a suitor to you, or succeed in finding a sutable man who I approve of, by the end of this month or I will chose for you. Am I understood?"

Azura glared at her father but said nothing.

The three men then left, closing the door behind them.

Huda crept out from the closet that she quickly hid in and looked over at Azura.

"I swear by the rulers and spirits of the past Agrabah, his statement about women will change." Huda mumbled and turned to Azura.

"You alright?" She asked her friend walking towards her and lightly brushed her dressed off unsure what to say precisely or do until it hit her.

"What if you were to switch roles with your father?" Huda spoke aloud, surely going to confuse anybody. "What if you were to find the suitor, one that your father would agree with?" Huda spoke aloud not necessarily speaking to the princess.

Amah rushes off in such a hurry. She begins to not look where she is going. With her head down, Amah bumps into a kiosk. The various fruits are flung across the unpaved street. A melon lands on the street vendor of the kiosk. The peasants begin to assess the situation. Thieves begin to grab the fruit. With a slight smirk on her face from the funny disposition of the clerk, Amah says "I am so sorry! "If there is anything I" "No No NO NOO!" the clergyman interrupted furiously. "Your kind is no good here." "But I...I..was only trying to...."Shut the hell up and leave!" Amah quickly left in tears. The people of streets gazed at her with disdain. She ran and she ran back to her home.

Azura considered what her friend suggested "It would be impossible, I'm afraid. My father is too hard headed to do things any way other than traditional." she finally answered hopelessly. She sighed "I feel clasterphobic here, Huda." she complained as she and her friend walked back out onto the balcany. "I never do anything on my own, always being watched, always with expectations to live up to. I've never even been out onto the streets of a city that I am supposed to one day rule. I've never been allowed outside the castle walls. I have all these expectations, all these responsibilities and so much 'power' yet I feel like a prisoner." she rolled her eyes.

Jadeyn watched the Princess complain form his magic and then smiled a little. "You know, princess, I think you're right. Let's see if we can't help her..." he said to himself as he cast a spell. Suddenly both of the guards outside her room got very sleepy and both fell into a deep sleep outside Azura's room, both of them falling backwards so that the doors to her room burst open. Azura was startled and turned to see both of them asleep.

    "What on earth?" she exclaimed.

Asaya looked up to see a balcony with a clothing line full of scarves and clothing. Asaya then ran up flipped backwards off it to land on a balcony lower than the one she had seen once before. She then jumped into the air grabbing onto the balcony's ledge nearly missing it, then pulling herself up. "Whoa...that was too close." Asaya said as she grabbed the scarf of clothing line. She then covered her face with the violet scarf making her mouth and nose unnoticeable.

Jadeyn strolled in casually behind the sleeping guards, stepping over one on his stride toward the two girls. "Azura, Huda." he said, bowing his head to the two. "Shameful, that." he said as if just barely noticing the two unconcious guards. "It appears that for the next few minutes you will be completely unguarded." a hint of a smile twitched at the corner of his mouth. "How unfortunite. I surely hope nothing crazy happens before they are noticed."

Azura looked uncertain "What are you playing at?"

"Who me? Nothing. I'm merely making an observation your highness. Your father actually sent me here to inform you that you are supposed to make a formal apology to the poor man you crashed the pot on later today." he then turned to leave "Have a good evening Azura." he said casually before walking out of the door, stepping over the guards again.

Azura looked irritated "Thats it." she said taking a few of the blankets from her bed and fabrics that were hanging from her walls and walking toward the window. "I'm leaving before I go mad here."

Huda looked at the guards, suspicious.

"Wait, Azura, where are you going precisely?" Huda asked a little shock after watching Jadeyn leave and Azura getting angry again. She quickly stood up grabbing two cloaks from Azura's closet and hurrying back outside.

"What are you proposing precisely now?" Huda asked holding the two cloaks.

Azura shrugged "The plan now is to get outside the palace walls. After that, I honestly have no idea." she said as she was tying the ends of her blankets and fabrics together to make a rope. "I've never been out there before and as much as I don't like Jadeyn, he has a point though I dont think he realized it. With them... doing whatever." she said pointing to the guards "It may be my only chance to actually go out there and see for myself. Huda, dont you ever get tired of seeing these walls every day? Or wonder whats beyond them?" she said. "I do. And I cant sit in here and let my life be lived and my choices be made for me." she took one of the cloaks from Huda and pulled the hood of it up over her head. "The sun will set soon and then, I'm leaving. You are welcome to join me Huda."

"My parents would have my head letting you leave, but if I leave with you they can't have my head and you'd have some form of protection." Huda said closing and locking the door as she went to help with the fabric rope.

"Here's one concern though. What will happen if your father finds out, plus when has Jadeyn ever been right for you. He's always told you the wrong thing and then he always tries to get you in trouble." She shook her head.

"Though I guess I was the one to recommend it in a way first." She said upon going and gathering up spare blankets and fabric laying around in the room.
