Harry Potter Thread

    Nuff Said. But because i have to say more, are there any Potter Heads on this site???? I know i am not alone!! I love Harry Potter, i was 7 or 6 when i got my 1st book of the 1st book. I got all the books about it, even the Science book that wasnt written by JK. Rowling. I dont know where i would be with out Rowling(THE QUEEN!) Harry Potter helped shape who i was, im not super crazy like some people, but i was very sad while reading the last pages of the final book, and i felt tears while watching the last movie. Harry Potter made a generation and im proud the say im part of it. And before you ask No i am not a wizard( i must lie to muggles) but if you were wondering i am only Half-Blood.
    So how do you feel about Harry Potter?

    Harry Potter is one of my favourite series of all time ! I bought all 7 books and 8 movies (as everyone knows, seven was split into two parts ;) )

    You actually might have noticed that my "location" is at Hogwarts (I may or may not be a wizard); I'm frankly obsessed with the books. I cried reading that series, cried watching the last movie, and teared up again thinking about it the next day (Harry Potter makes me emotional or something.) It was just all around magical.

    Like most people, I still had my favourite characters. I was a big Snape fan since the first book because he seemed twisted and he grew on me as the series progressed. I also loved the Weasleys because they were brilliant and hilarious. Oh and I can't forget Luna Lovegood; She was so strange yet she pulled me right in. I actually enjoyed most of the characters and could probably start a list on what I liked about each one, but that would take a while and I'm slightly lazy.

    I'll end this off with my favourite quote of the entire series: "Let me explain. The happiest man on earth would be able to use the Mirror of Erised like a normal mirror, that is, he would look into it and see himself exactly as he is." (Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, p. 156) That quote has moved me for personal reasons and it's one of the only ones that sticks in my mind.

    Thank you!!!!! I knew there was someone, HP to me is the best, that was my 1st real book series as a kid when i got it at 6 years old. I love Snape, his story to me was 1 of the saddest next to Lupins and Harry's and Nevilles. (Cant spell) Luna always reminded me a bit of myself, and i was soooo torn when they killed Fred. When i was reading it i really did stop and read that page over like 10 times to understand what happened and why Percy was crying. The movie really didnt do the big fights justice. Like i was mad at the way Harry beat him and his body turning to dust. I wanted the Great Hall battle with Harry's speech. What really made me mad about the movie was how Harry broke the Elder Wand and didnt even fix his!! Or go see Dumbladore at the end! It was still a great movie though. How i would have loved to see it stay true to the books/ My fav. Book and Movie is Goblet of Fire, that to me is the Movie that stay made Harry look like Harry with long hair and all.

    I've been a huge Potter fan since the time of the fourth book's release. Harry Potter was really my first fandom, where I'd be all over the message boards and forums and obsess over theories on what would happen in the next books and all that. I don't know that I'd say that the books are my all time favorite, not anymore, but I do love them, even though there are things about them I wish had turned out differently. I think I've read these books more times than any others I own.

    Yes. I've adored Snape since the first book and everything else I learned about him made me love him more. I love morally grey anti-heroes, and I also just really adore assholes for some reason. I just really think he needed a hug, okay? He's one of my favorite characters in any fandom, ever.

    I also really liked Harry and Luna (and I'll be honest, just a little, I was hoping they'd hook up in the end, even though I knew the story wasn't going to go that way). And I often found myself wishing Malfoy had got a bit more character development. I found that the Slytherin house in general tended to be sort of one dimensionally evil (in various degrees), which bugged me throughout the series. I would have liked to see Harry and Malfoy, maybe not become friends, but work together and kick some real ass.

    My favorite book is probably Half Blood Prince. There's just so much I like about this one.

    I could probably ramble on all day about HP. So I'll end this now before I keep it up for the next hour. >_<

    I Have Been a Harry Potter fan since I learned how to read. I watched all the movies and have read all the books more than once and I never get tired of it. I love it so much that if someone started a conversation with me about I would ramble on and on and on (like with Anime). I own all the movies on DVD, all the book, and I own a Harry Potter T-Shirt as well (Love that shirt BTW!)

    My Favorite Character(s) are Harry Potter, Sirus Black, and Snape. I love Harry because he is so brave and is not afraid to face death or Lord Voldemort unlike me who would run and Hide. He also is quite funny (like Sirus) and handsome and I love the scar on his forehead. I love Black because though I thought he was a little scary in the beginning I loved in time that he has a caring spirit about him and cares very much for Harry and Hogwarts as well. I Love Snape because is a twisted and like of handsome (like Harry) and always so serious plus he is amazing at spells and potions. Though he a little mean to Harry when I learned he cared for him very much I cried a little and only made me love him more.

    BUT My all time Favorite people have to be the Weasley Twins. They were the funniest people in the books and movie and I always looked forward to everything they had to say.

    Moving on My Favorite Movie has to Be the 4th one because:
    A. Lots of Drama
    B. The Games
    C. Voldemort coming back
    D. the Yue Ball
    E. Herimone's Dress
    F. Harry's Long Hair
    G. That reporter always stirring up trouble
    H. SHIRTLESS HARRY!!!!!!

    I will also add that my least Favorite is the 5th one because of stupid Umbridge.
