Vantias and Sora

    Why does Vanitas look like Sora in a dark form suit, except with the golden eyes and black hair.... :eek:

    lol I spelled Vanitas wrong in the Title. *facepalms*

    well I found some information that maybe explain you why they are similar
    "In an interview with Tetsuya Nomura as well as various novelizations of the game, it is revealed that this similarity is due to Sora's heart connecting with Ventus near the beginning of the game, and had anyone else connected with Ventus's heart, Vanitas would look like that person"

    Impossible,Ventus connected with Sora right after the splitting,Vanitas could look with any person I think that Vanitas essence in Ventus reacted with Sora making he look like him

    Ahhh! So that's what happened in the beginning of the game when Master Xehanort left Ventus on Destiny Islands and Ventus shot a beam of light up in the air with his keyblade??

    Pretty simple answer!

    When Vanitas separated from Ventus, he intially didn't have a face but a new born heart (Sora) filled in Ventus's fractured heart. So as time progress, Vanitas appearance began to change into Sora because Sora supplemented Ventus's heart which he was formly apart of.

    Haven't gotten that far in BBS, but I never resist spoilers, so I saw this years ago. What i don't get is why Vanitas looks like an older Sora when at the time he was like 4.

    Umm in a way!

    Ventus/Vanitas is around the same age as Sora is currently. So Vanitas appeared as Sora at that age.

    Eh plus it was a newborn heart. What would Vanitas look like with a baby's face!

    Im guessing because the outfit is just the general "Darkness DressCode" And the power of darkness just builds there muscle mass.

    That's a pretty tight suit. XD

    It could be Xehanort. If anything Riku possibly got his suit from Xehanort as well as Vanitas.

    I see it now. Thanks :D Vanitas was supposed to look like Ventus but instead it was Sora.:D

    Actually, the answer came from an interview with Kingdom Heart's Creator, Tetsuya Nomura.

    In other words, if Nomura hadn't told us we wouldn't have any idea^^

    I don't exactly consider myself stupid, and I didn't have any idea why he Vanitas looked like Sora or why Ventus pointed his keyblade up in the air on Destiny Islands untill I read why. Nothing about the story in Kingdom Hearts is obvious, you pretty much have to read it on a wikia or in an interview if you wanna know how and why.
