I'll be the first to admit: I hate modern music. Since when did "skill" become using a voice synthesizer? I really don't get it. It's time for music to go back to the way it was. Back to the days of Johnny Cash, The Beatles, Elvis.... Who agrees?

I prefer almost anything, excluding pop, techno, and most country. Some of rap is good, not all of it.

Let me start by saying I hate when people outright say "I hate modern music". If you actually were to look for new music on sites like Pitchfork and Stereogum, I can pretty much guarantee that you'll find something that's appealing to you.

That said, classics; The Ink Spots are incredible. I've always been a huge Buddy Holly fan. And of course I love Louis Armstrong, Lou Reed (Velvet Underground), The Smiths, Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel.
