I can't stand it!!! I've beat the entire game with Riku, but yet I can't overcome Hades while playing as Sora!!!!!!!!!! I'm getting pissed! Any ideas???

I'm curious as to how you can even play as Riku without having beaten Hades with Sora.

But honestly, stack your deck with blizzard and cure spells. That is usually the simplest way. And a basic strategy I use against bosses is save your 0 cards. Use those when the bosses use sleights.

I bought the game used. The person who owned it before me had already beaten the game, so Riku was already unlocked. And, yes, those Zero cards do come in handy.

    A walk through from Z.

Hades is possible one of the most annoying bosses in the whole game, with the exception of a select few. Most of his attacks can't be dodged or blocked, and he seems to have nearly limitless supplies of sleights.

First of all just forget about the concept of dodging. Its difficult to avoid most of his attacks and you really can't do anything about most of them. Instead use Zero cards to block his sleights before he uses them. It might be tempting to use sleights of your own but only do so in moderation. You do not want to run out of cards against this guy.

His fire wave that he shoots out of his hands does have a sweet spot for dodging. Get up close with him and slowly walk in a circle with his attack. If you got the thumb dexterity you can do it. You could try and dodge his giga fire ball by running past it but its like Riku's and the dodge has to happen before he even launches the attack. The rest can't really be dealt with.

Using a trillion cures might be key to this fight. Also sleights involving Blizzard and Lightening will come in handy. Blizzard spells do massive damage to that hot head and Lightening spells are almost a sure fire hit when used in Thundara or Thundaga. Forget the idea of just Thunder as it does null damage to him.

Keep hitting him while saving those zeros and you'll do fine.

Hmmm... I never really play with Magic cards that much... I can get him down to where you can see NO HEALTH in his fucking health bar, then he kills me. Maybe I'll try a few Cure cards. It might just work.

Yeah, Hades can be very annoying. I suggest you get alot of "cure"s.
