The Death Game: Core Nova(actual RP) rated M

Percy ran to the side of the building. Random monsters had been popping up everywhere, and seemed to be regenerating quickly, as if they didn't pass through Tartarus at all. He whipped around, and uncapped Riptide. The pen instantly extended into a 3-foot long celestial bronze sword. He turned to face the monster, only a cyclops. he lunged at the monster, but a blinding light flashed in his eyes. he covered his eyes with his arm, and rolled to the floor. when he opened his eyes, he gasped in amazement.

Aden walked to the next house with his friends, laughing and joking as they walked up the drive. He extended his arms, holding the bag out. "Score!" yelled Bailey, as they walked back away. "Full Hersheys?" yelled Jordan. "Wow, I didn't realize they handed these out!" said Austin. "Yeah, lets put on some new costumes and come back again!" Aden laughed, swinging the plastic Super Scope. "Well, see you guys." said Aden, walking the opposite way as his friends. "Bye!" they all said, waving. Aden turned around to say something, but a bright light appeared behind him. "Ethynn?" he asked. "Nice try." he said, laughing as he turned around. Seeing no one there, but staring into the bright light, he asked "E-Ethynn?", thoroughly scared. The light was to bright to be from a car...The light seemed to envelop him, he fell to the ground, grimacing, as a strange feeling of being sucked away spread through him. he opened his eyes, and shook out the black spots, gasping at what he saw.

 

Light Yagami sat at his desk, the Death note open in front of his and Ryuk behind him on his bed, eating an apple.

"Hey Light? Why do you keep writing down so many names? take a break and let's play some video games or something!Light stopped punishing criminals and turned to Ryuk.

"Ryuk, I told you as long as people like L are on my tail I can't rest one minute if Kira stops his murders for even one day, L will notice. besides, I'm going to make a perfect world free of evil. I have to be serious to take up a mission as noble as mine!" he said with a god-like air. Then a blinding light filled the room, Light grabbed his beloved Death Note, and a pen, and he and Ryuk were whisked away.

Naruto Uzumaki was training with Kakashi-sensei.

"You'd better be ready sensei! My sage techniques are stronger than ever!" as he said this blue chakra swirled in his hand. across from him Kakashi charged his Lightning Blade attack.

"Don't coun't me out yet Naruto! I haven't peaked just yet! Lightning Blade!"

"RASENGAN!" but before the two attacks collided, Naruto had vanished.

 

Terrat chased after the new tiger-humanoid called Slash. He primed his laser pistol and snuck behind him. Mr. Bigg had hired him to take the newcomer out. Biggs payed him good if the job was done right, but if it wasn't there were consequences. he fired a shot that struck the newcomer's foot. he leapt into the air, Terrat prepared to fire the ending shot but suddenly a bright light flashed around him. A flash grenade? He covered his eyes. when he opened them again he found himself in a strange place.

Ben skimmed across the galaxy in his modified jedi starfighter. Suddenly, over a moon called endor, a ship the size of a star destroyer closed in on his much smaller ship. WHAM! he was hit! almost all sytems went down, and R2 struggled to regain them. just as the ship was about to go down, it was hit by a bright light. He closed his eyes, and felt his body standing. when he opened his eyes he was in a different place. R2 beeped in amazement.

Sage leapt behind the cover of a slab of concrete. He was one of the last survivors of his squad of Toa ODSTs. He popped up over his cover and fired his Sniper Rifle. It narrowly missed an Elite, but ricocheted off of a large rock and went through the back of the Elite's head. He jumped over the concrete and picked up the Elite's Needle Rifle, putting his Sniper Rifle on his back. He ran over to a building, and started to jump up it using the windows as ledges. Once he got to the top, he started to fire the Rifle, getting a headshot here and there. He didnt hear the Elite coming behind him. Before he knew what was happening, the Elite had him by the neck. It stabbed his arm with an Energy Sword, narrowly missing his chest. Sage screamed in pain, but was able to take out his combat knife and stab the Elite in the neck. It dropped him off the building, and he began to fall to his possible death. His back hit the ground, the Elite's body landing next to him. The only thing that allowed him to survive was his Combat Shielding, which took most of the fall for him. He stumbled to his feet. While the Needle Rifle was snapped in two, his Rifle wasnt, luckily. Unluckily, a Grunt with it's own Needle Rifle took a shot at Sage's head, hair's away from hitting him. Instead, it hit his Kanohi Olmak, creating a malfunction. A Dimensional Door opened in his face, and sucked him into a world with a few other people. In one arm, he held his Sniper Rifle, just in case, in the other, he held nothing. It was still wounded. "Who are you guys?"

 

Percy looked at the strange newcomer, who held what appeared to be a rifle. Riptide was still out, but this man made him feel uneasy. "The name's Percy Jackson." he said. "Who're you?"

Aden looked at all the people gathered around him. Some from T.V. or comics, others like the newcomer were completely new, and some from books or games. The rifle, which he recognized from his playing of Halo, made him uneasy. He raised his own super scope, even though it was fake, the intruder didn't know that. "Who-who are you?" he managed.

 

Light opened his eyes to the new world. before him stood nine other people, all seemed to have come from a crazy convention. Light kept his voice low and spoke only to Ryuk.

"Ryuk, What is this? did you take me to the Shinigami realm?" he asked Ryuk didn't need to keep his voice down so he spoke regularly.

"No, I've never seen this world before...But i have heard that other dimensions exist outside of the worlds of the Shinigami and Humans. this must be one of them. Since we're here i guess I should tell you about the inter-dimensional rules."

"Ok, what are they?" asked Light in his whispering tone.

"Well for starters. all the rules that i wrote in the notebook still apply, as in you need a name and face to kill, 40 seconds til death unless you specify the cause and time, only you can see or hear me unless others touch the Death Note or a scrap of the Death Note, and the eye deal still exists." said Ryuk.

"So then what's different?" asked Light.

"Well, the way that life works is different for every dimension. So in theory the specifications of the eye deal change. This means if you made the deal with me now, you would keep your full destined life time, and you wouldn't have to pay for the eyes at all. Also depending on the rules of the universe you may gain life by killing people. however, if and when we get bacl home you will keep the eyes and the life you gained from killing, you just can't gain anymore life." said Ryuk.

"I see...well then, Ryuk...I say it's time we struck a deal!" the second he said this the world around Light took on a red hue, and above the heads of the others he saw their names and life spans floating, out of sight to everyone else. "The Time has come, Ryuk...for Lord Kira to show his true powers!" said Light.

 

Aden lowered the blaster and looked around. He recognized many of his new companions. There was Light Yigami (and he was sure that Ryuk was with him), Naruto, Terrat Xemil, Ben Skywalker, R2-D2, Percy Jackson, a halo-bionicle man, and a strange pokemon trainer. All these seemed too much for him, and he sank to his knees in amazement. It then dawned on him that he was much younger than anyone else in the group. he sighed and lowered his head, seeing that he was outmatched in every way.

 

Ben drew his lightsaber and stepped a bit closer to R2. R2 put out his taser, they had been trained for things like this. Using the force, Ben pulled away the rifle and grabbed it in his free hand. he set it on the ground beside R2, knowing that the droid would protect it. He saw the youngest, a small boy, sink to his knees. he took the strange weapon that lay beside him, and used the force to set it on top of the rifle. Terrat then saw his chance to rid himself of the beings, and fired at Ben. R2 fired a taser blast that stopped the blast from Terrat's pistol. Ben lunged at the man, knowing that he had to protect the others, even if they might be enemies.

 

Naruto was in amazement. he had no idea where he was or what happened to kakashi sensei. then a voice came from his subconscious.

Naruto! It is I, the Kyuubi. Naruto almost gasped. He used his mind to speak back to the voice, when he spoke he was suddenly in the chambers of his mind, where a larg gate stood before him. Behind the gate there was a giant crimson fox, behind it waved nine menacing tails.

What, Nine Tails? what do you want?

I sense we are no longer in the world of Ninja we once knew. these people were all summoned here just like us...but something else troubles me, I am made of pure hatred, so i can sense evil...and there is a presence...one far more dangerous than I or even than the other Tailed Beasts.

You're kidding me! that's insane, such a powerful force of evil? is that even possible?

I'm afraid so, and I also sense this force has brought us here to kill us all. Naruto you must be on your guard for if you die I too shall perish! but fret not, for you already have control of my power as well as the Sage Mode passed down from Jeriah-sama.

Yea, i'm not scared, i'm the strongest ninja in the entire world! no one's gonna take me out! Naruto stepped back into reality, where a man with a glowing sword had appeared and looked menacing.

Light, was happier than he had ever been, now all he had to do was live through this and Kira would have won! L could never hope to beat him now that he had the eyes of the Shinigami!

Then he saw the man with the lightsaber.

"Stop!" he yelled. "All of us here were summoned for a reason, we are not enemies. Look we are all drastically different, thus i can only conclude that we are not meant to be in this world. You can trust me, I'm Japan's most brilliant student. We have no need to fight, just calm down so we can assess the situation."

Light used his "friendly smile" in order to try and win the hearts of the others. When he used this air he was one of the most likable males in the human world.

behind him Ryuk gave a snicker that would be unheard by all who had never touched the Death Note.

 

Aden looked up from where he kneeled. his gun was gone, great. he rose and looked around. deciding that his only chance of survival was to get his Super Scope, he rolled over, grabbed the gun, and barley avoided a blast from R2's taser. He looked at Terrat and Ben and tried something. He squeezed the plastic trigger. A glowing orb of yellow blasted out of the weapon with such force it knocked Aden of his feet. he fell to the ground as the blast narowly avoided Terrat's head. He sighed, and leaned back against the wall. It was all too much...

 

Ben swerved to avoid the blast. He knocked Terrat to the ground, and stole his weapon. he walked back to the group of others, twirling the blaster around his finger.

 

Aden, having had enough, stood and said, "You're all heroes you idiots! Well, except for you Terrat, you're bad. But you can all work together! As Light said, stop fighting! destroying yourselves and eachother is not the key! Now we need to work together to get out of here! Please!" With that, he sat back down and waited.

 

At Aden's last comment Light stopped. Light knew their names because he had the eyes...but this boy...he knew them all as well! could he have a second Death Note? If so Light needed to find out for sure. If Aden did have a notebook, then he could be a usefull ally, and then when he was done...he would die!

"You! how did you know our names i we had never introduced ourselves? Don't think i didn't notice! explain yourself!...and why are you dressed like Mario? "

 

Shocked, Aden looked up at Light, before standing promptly. He didn't know what to do, he had seen the extent of Light's madness, and even though he was filled with respect for him, was terrified inside. "Um, um, well..." he managed, "In my dimension it was Halloween, this is my costume...I'm guessing you brought Ryuk? Tell him I say Hello."

 

At the mention of Ryuk Light snapped he didn't care what happened anymore. He pulled out his Death Note and his pen.

"That's it! If you know about Ryuk, then you know about this! Tell me how you know so much and i won't kill you! I know your name too, Aden Baker! Don't think i wont! It only takes a few swipes of the pen!!!"

 

Aden yelled in surprise at the sight of the Death Note and dove for cover behind Ben Skywalker. "I watch T.V! Please dont kill me!" he yelled bracing for the effects of Light's pen. He thought about something before reaching into his overalls. He pulled out his large wallet and from it removed a smaller version of the Death Note. It wasn't real but it might just be enough...He stood and thrust out the booklet. Because of this! Inside he secretly thanked Wal-Mart's clearance section

 

A-a Death Note?!? thought Light. This is it! he grabbed the fake...but no Shinigami appeared to him.

"What is this? and what did you mean you watch T.V.? Give me a straight answer, i'm getting impatient! one more bad answer and i'll end your life with no regrets!" Yelled Light. He was totally losing it, the idea that this mere boy held such knowledge was unfathomable to him. He knew everyone, and he didn't even have a Shinigami! Without a Shinigami, he couldn't have the eyes! HOW DID HE KNOW!!!!

 

Aden looked at Light. "I-in the dimension I come from, you are all heroes or villains is TV shows or books or comics! Please don't kill me!" he grabbed the fake and stuffed it in his pocket before sliding behind Ben, and aiming his Super scope between his legs at Light, just in case...

 

Light lowered the pen. He didn't know what to make of this...Was it possible? was he just a story book character? His life was a lie/ a predestined tale already told?

Light didn't want to give the kid the satisfaction of having hurt light's ego, so he kept a straight face, pocketed the pen, and closed the Death Note.

"Fine, i won't kill you...for now. But don't ever cross me again, you already know the full extent of the powers of Lord Kira. for your honesty i will reward you...come here." he pulled out the small scrap of Death note he carried in his wallet. Aden would be the first to have the privilage to see Ryuk.
