ECLIPSE​

Parallel to the world we know and live in, there is another where night and day are never crossed. They are at perfect balance but timeless. This world is devided into a light and a dark side and it is where all creatures you could ever imagine started out and live. Vampires, Deamons, Witches, and other creatures of the night are found on the dark side. Angels, Faries, Genies and other such creatures are on the light. Of course, there are few who travel between the light and the dark kingdoms such as werwolves or mermaids. You get the picture.
The royal families of both worlds are mostly very wise beings without much power but a lot of wisdom... they are similar to man but do have some power and they have dominance of all creatures in the kingdoms they rein. They are also the only beings who have the ability to open the door between both worlds. Because they have not much lethal power at their disposal they are adviced by Angels and Deamons. Angels chose to watch over those of the light side and vowed to advice and protect them through the generations for eternity. Deamons have done the same for those on the Night side. You get the picture.
Thousands of years ago the light and the dark sides of the magic world began to contend one with another partly, but not all, because Deamons and Angels do not get along. The war has gotten drastic over the years. The balance between night and day have been severely twisted until now there is no crossing the line between night and day for either parties unless their is bloodshed. The king of the Night has grown tired of the war and has decided that to correct it, all light beings should be destroyed. With that in mind, he sent an army to exterminate the royal family. And the attack was too sudden to save many.
The castle was stormed and the king and queen were killed. Two young Angels, new to the castle and assigned to the care of the two infant twin children of the king and queen, knew that something must be done. They took the children and retreated from the castle but were persued by deamons who wanted the children dead. The angles were cornered and fought valiantly to protect the infant prince and princess but were severely outnumbered. Thats when something miraculous happened. The children managed to open a door to the other demension. With no other way to run, the angels quickly took the children and left through the already closing door and found themselves now trapped in our world: Earth, on October 9, 1992. (at this point I should add that the two children's father was an Angel. They are more powerful than any other member of the royal families before them and when they were born a prophecy was made that they would one day kill the dark king and end the war.)
Thankful that they could keep the children safe and hidden from the dark royal family and others that would mean to harm the orphan prince and princess, but saddened but they could not seem to get the children to once again open the door and realising that they would not truly fit in with the humans of this world (the wings and fact that they dont age would give it away), the two angels took the two children to an orphanage and watched over them there until both were adopted.... but separated. The two, agreed that they would split up to watch over the children and protect them until they finally descovered their powers and were old enough to understand their destiny to one day return to their home world and put an end to the war.
It has been 19 years since that day. The children grew up blissfully unaware of each other or the war that raged in their real home.
Back in the magic world, the king of darkness took over everything and anyone that apposed him were imprisoned or killed. All light beings are either in hiding and slowly dying out. The king has ordered a specific team to track down the missing prince and princess and bring them back so that he can kill them himself. The search has been going on for 19 years. Before finally, the king's son, new to the army, stumbled across learning himself how to open the door between worlds and alone (trying to prove his worth to his father) entered our world to search for the prince and princess. All he needs is to find twin siblings who can pull off extraordinary magical techniques. Its not like they should be too hard to find in a world full of normal humans... unless they dont know who they are. In that case, they should be easy to overpower.

So you get the idea. War going on in the magical world. We will start this RP when the two light twins meet completely by chance and the dark prince attacks them. Sound good to everyone? Fantastic. Ask me or Murphy if you have any questions. ​

Races:

Angels: Basically immortal beings born from light itself. Though they do not age, catch illnesses, or bleed, Angel's can be harmed in battle but not killed physically. There are few ways to kill an Angel. They can die of a broken heart (this rarely happens), or they can give up their will to live in which case they very literally cease to exsist. They are pure hearted and love every race equally though they dont get along very well with Deamons its only because of the deamons hatered for them.

Deamons: Much the same as Angels only born of Darkness. They hate a lot of things and are quick to anger. But they are cunning and very powerful. Only an angel can kill a Deamon (with difficulty). They are the most powerful creatures in the dark relm but are just as subject to 'man's only power as Angels.

Man: Man in the magical world are not nessisarly the same as in ours. They are the only beings who have the ability to open the door between worlds and they have completely dominance over all other creatures of their kingdom. If the king or queen gives a direct command even Angels and deamons have no choice but to obey or die. No one is sure how this power evolved into such a physicallly weak species but that is the way it is.

Half-Angels: The twin prince and princess are the only two to have ever exsisted. They are just as powerful as an angel but have the power of the royal family as well making them possibly the most dangerous threat to the dark army that lives. When they work together, they could learn to beocome unstopable.

The two that went to the real world to watch over the kids are both Angels. Its like a guardian angel type thing. That race is all specifically devoted to protecting and advising the royal family... in a roundabout way leading and protecting all of the subjects.

 

Rinoa Lockheart

Charismatic, Confident, Smart, and cheerful. Rinoa is use to getting what she wants and thinks very highly of herself though she sees the good in other people too. She sees the world from a glass-half-full prospective. She has a way with people and is loved by pretty much everyone she meets. Its just something about her people like making her happy. (yes there is some magical influence there that she doesnt realise she has) her smile is contageous and she always seems to make people feel better about things. She is a born leader and a bit of a neat freak.

Bio:
Born a princess of a world that's exsistance she doesnt know of, Rinoa was adopted by a young couple that were unable to have a child of their own. Her adoptive father has a vice presidency job in the music industry and her mother owns a hotel. Needless to say, her family is very well off. Her parents did everything they could as Rinoa grew up to make her feel loved. She has been given everything she's ever wanted her whole life and always the best of everything. Though Rinoa knows she was adopted in childhood she accepts her adoptive parents as her family and loves them just as much. In school, Rinoa has the same type of life. Everyone knows her name, everyone wants to be her friend. Everyone wants to make her happy. Rinoa has the human world wrapped around her little finger and she likes it that way. She is nearing her 18th birthday and is a senior in her highschool.

Powers:
The only obvious power is that of the royal families in the magical world that cause creatures around her to feel loyal and want to make her happy. She is not aware of it.

She sometimes dreams of a boy who looks very similar to her and about alternate universes. When she dreams, she draws what she sees. She has a sketchpad full of pictures of the boy, of angels, deamons, of castles, and of anything else she sees in her dreams.
She has a love for music just like her adoptive father. Her theme is a song she wrote herself and plays on the piano or humms to herself when she is nervous, or upset.

Melanie

Personality:
She is sometimes a little pessimistic and always very sarcastic. She is powerful and strong and has a short temper though has the maturity and wisdom to not let it get the best of her at most times. Shes a deep thinker and though she is on the night side, she is by no means evil. She is just a young woman in the middle of a war.

Bio:
She is the daughter of the night king and was once the heir to the throne of the night as well. Her father always favored her, growing up. She has one brother named Marcus who is older than her. He is her only sibling and the only other heir to the throne. When Melanie was sixteen her father was in some council meeting regarding the war. Melanie and Marcus were at their father's side during the meeting, just listening to learn but not actually a part of the discussion. At some point during the council, a general openly insulted Marcus. Offended, Melanie spoke out against the council member (a vampire) for his disrespectful act to the prince. But for someone like Melanie, a young woman speaking out so harsly interrupting the meeting was considered extremely disrespectful to the chairman of the meeting... who in that case was her father. Melanies actions, though noble, harmed her brother worse than the insult because it was considered an act of treason and both siblings were deemed guilty. Now, to restore her honor along with her brother's she must find a way to amend the crime she comitted against her father and prove herself loyal and worthy once again by any means nessisary. Both siblings were placed in the military. Melanie snuck out a few weeks after that in search of some real way to prove her loyalty and get Marcus's and her own honor back. She has vowed to find the lost heirs to the throne of light and bring them back to her father alive to be imprisoned or probably killed. Its the only way she knows that will save her and her brother from their kingdom's eventual wrath should they fail.

Weapon:
Melanie carries a very well crafted but typical sword. It was elegantly made out of steel from handle to tip, from the tip melted all out of one stone. Its made of very thin blades the length of her arm from sholder to fingertips. There are four very thin sections to the one blade, crafted into the shape of four stems weaving together in all kinds of twisted patterns before they come to the tip which is where they come together into the base of one 'bud'. The blade is basicly four in one. It was crafted for Melanie when she was younger and it is truly one of a kind and easily memorable. Quite often Melanie keeps it put away as long as she can in battle. Its only when she cant win a fight with only her bow, magic. and unarmed combat alone will she pull it out.

Celene

Appearence:

She has bright blue eyes and golden dark blonde hair that hangs down past the small of her back. She has a very large pair of white wings and radiates her own light.

Personality:
Celene is very soft spoken, kind, gentle, and wise. She is accepting of all creatures and has a very calming presense. Often, she inspires others to go in the direction of their dreams of what they want most or to do the right thing in general.

Bio:
Celene did her part among the angel community as a volunteer for most of her life going to academy to learn where she would be most useful as an assignment. Recently she graduated from academy and her first assignment was to the castle to be a guardian angel to the new infant children of the king and queen. She was to advise and protect the children through their lives as they needed it. But the first night in her new assignment the castle was attacked. She and another angel new to the castle took the children and ran to protect their lives and the rest is history. Now she is watching over Rinoa in the human world, completely invisible to the world, waiting for Rinoa and her twin brother (who the other angel has followed) to discover their powers. When their powers are descovered, then and only then will the children be able to see her and the other angel. No one but people from the magic world can see angels.

Powers:
Angels are the most powerful beings in the magic world. Celene can fly and heal wounds. She has light powers and also is an empath meaning that she knows what others are feeling.
