Those Who Defy Fate (Actual RP)

Colbie was running but had to stop herself so she wouldn't get hit by Ide's fire. Her eyes opened wide, she didn't know he was capable of this, he was so quiet and reserved she thought. She just stared at the fire he was releasing, it looked so beautiful, even if it was about to hit someone.

 

Briggs had to go top speed to avoid being killed. he managed to block the flames, but was cut and burnt as a result. the intruder must have been almost dead...it was heating up like an oven!
"Ide, STOP!" yelled Briggs. "This isn't right! I can't explain it, it's just..." Brigg's tone became much quieter. "It's just wrong."

 

Ide ceased the flow of fire, and also ceased the fire that was in his wings. causing them to vanish. He stood hunched over, breathing heavily from the force he had put into his attacks. He had never used so much power before, and to kill one enemy no less. Still smoke engulfed the body, Ide wouldn't be satisfied until he saw the intruder dead by his hand. So was the fate of anyone who sided with people who thought they could control people's entire lives.

 

The intruder lived, but briggs lay on the ground, unconcious. the intruder was wounded and wouldn't be going anywhere for a while.

 

Colbie ran over to Ide and put her hands on his shoulders, she forced him to look at her "Ide! What the hell was that!?" she thought that it was kind of cool that he had all that power, but it was also dangerous. "Are you ok?" She asked him. Then she saw Briggs laying on the floor and groaned "Why does everyone have to pass out?"

 

"I'm fine Colbie" said Ide, he was only winded from the ammount of energy it took to conjure up that last burst of power. He was soon able to compose himself and ran to Briggs' side. "Dammit, why didn't he move on time! someone as fast as him, should have had no problem." Ide wasn't sure what to do, "Colbie, Daisuke, Itsuki, and 24-o may have to wait. Take Briggs and get out, I'll deal with this intruder!"

 

Colbie ran to Briggs and pulled him up, putting one of his arms around her shoulder and dragging him. "Be careful!" She told Ide. "I don't want anyone else to die." With that said she quickly dragged Briggs out of the building.

 

Ide was wiped out from that last burst of power, all he could do was hold out his hand and create a circle of fire around the body of the intruder, that way if he woke up, he would be trapped. With thast done Ide fell to his knees and proceded to colapse on the floor. He hoped this would allow Colbie and Briggs to get far away enough to be safe from danger. as soon as he hit the floor he passed out. unable to move another inch.

 

240 looked at Anderson quizzically. "You really expect me to tell you?" he asked. "My job was to protect one who defied his fate before it was set for him...I failed that task. Now, I protect others who've made the same decision...I suppose that includes you..." he said, staring longingly at an outlet.

 

Anderson felt the need to backhand the robot. but he restrained himself, knowing it would only negative effects on himself.

"Don't give me that crap! You know where the other infidels are! Tell me!!!"

 

240 searched his remaining memories. "Actually I don't." he replied. "Now," he said, providing a hollow threat, "if you let me go, I'll be easier on you!" 240 restrained himself from trying anything rash, still conserving battery.

 

OOC: I haven't replied in awhile, what is going on?

 

OOC: Colbie and briggs are in the same place, except Ide is out cold, and the intruder is trapped. one of 8 bit's characters is also in the room.

 

OOC: Well I'm not sure where they are so I'll make something up, lol.

"Are you alright?!" Colbie asked Briggs as she helped him sit down on the ground.

 

Briggs looked at Colbie. "I...I'm fine." he managed before blacking out again.

240 looked at Anderson. Such hatred....why? he couldn't figure it out. with the knowledge of a supercomputer able to figure anything out, he was stumped. Emotions...humans...baffled him.
