Those Who Defy Fate (Actual RP)

"Oh, right, well how is she?" Colbie asked him. She had always thought about Stella, everyday. She hadn't seen her in years but she knew if she ever went back there, she would probably be killed.

 

Ide, walked over to the rest of the Group.

"D-Dr. Briggs? Is that you?!? My goodness it's been so long! How are you doing?" he held out his hand to shake. When he had first joined the OWDF Briggs had been a veteren but one week into Ide's career here and Briggs had been sent of on a mission and never came back. Ide was never told what Briggs' mission had been so he assumed he was dead.

"I have good news, I finally finished that story I was writing when you left. If you have time later i would love it if you could read it!" Briggs had been like a mentor to him. showing him the ways of the OWDF, and also Ide consulted him whenever he felt the grip of every authors worst nightmare: "Writers Block".

(Meanwhile at SNA)

Anderson stormed into the command room.

"STELLA! What the hell is this rumor that Dr. Briggs has been abducted!!!!!" I WANT ANSWERS!!!!" Anderson tossed a table across the room nailing an expendable worker in the face, putting him into a predestined coma. "This kind of thing is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! How can we even hope to beat the OWDF if we can't even keep our own members from being kidnapped?!? THIS IS ALL GOING ON YOUR PREFORMANCE EVALUATION, STELLA! If you want to keep this goddamn job, then i suggest you figure out where the good doctor is, and how to get him back, ON THE DOUBLE!!!!!" Anderson stormed out again back to his office, he'd be hearing from the Heads of Government for this.

 

"She's fine." said Harold, shaking Ide's hand. I would love to read it! I've been doing good, oh my we have so much to catch up on! he turned to the droid, "They're looking for you 240. he looked at the robot. Daniel would've died if he knew he had lost you! Harold examined 240, who had shut himself down. "Oh wow. This is worse than I thought!" said Harold, drawing his gun from the holster at his hip for no apparent reason.

 

(SNA)
Stella just stood there staring at the table then the man and finally staring at nothing. She noticed her co-workers were staring at her. "What are you all looking at?" She yelled "Shouldn't you be looking for Dr. Briggs?!" Everyone in the room quickly went back to their own business, that's when Stella realized she had a tear running down her face. She quickly wiped it off, she didn't want to look weak in front of everyone.

 

(OWDF)

Ide watched as Briggs examined 24-o. "Is he going to be ok doctor?" Ide asked. "and a better question would be, has the SNA managed to track him to us?"

(SNA: Anderson's office)

Anderson sat at his desk using his personal computer to do research and track down the android.

That thing suddenly appears, then less than two days later our top scientist is abducted. This is not coincidence, but how are they connected? could the android have been the one to kidnap him> but why? why do the OWDF need Briggs? WHAT IS THE CONNECTION????

 

(SNA)
Stella knocked on Anderson's office door "Um, sir." She said a little startled "May I come in?"

 

"He's undetected so far. said briggs "And, I'm not sure...He stripped off 240's breastplate. there was a small glowing blue square amidst the circuitry. Briggs pressed his thumb against it. it scanned his print and he was able to operate without being shocked. He got 240 working right, and fixed his armor. "He took some heavy hits, but he'll be okay. I need to get back to SNA, they may be worried. he ran out the door at the speed of light, straight into the office.
5 seconds later SNA HQ
Anderson! Sir! said briggs, as he saluted.

 

(SNA: Anderson's office)
Anderson looked up from his computer.

"Yes, Stell-" he saw that Briggs had sudden;y appeared. "How the hell... Nevermind, so Stella you found Briggs... good perhaps you're not so useless after all. But compliments aside now you should get back to finding that android! I need to speak to the doctor alone..." he waited patiently for Stella to leave, at the same time he waved Dr. Briggs into his office.

 

"Actually sir, I didn't um, find him," She said just before the door was closed in her face. She wlaked back to her desk.

(OWDF)
Colbie wasn't even paying attention and before she knew it the doctor was gone, "What the, he was just here!" She said looking all around. "Where'd he go?"

 

Briigs walked innto the office. Yessir? he asked. (sorry about that kinght.)

 

(SNA)
"I swear that girl needs to lear to be quiet sometimes...Dr. Briggs?" said Anderson. The Doctor was gone. No it couldn't be...Could he have a special power? But that would mean...that would mean he had denied his fate!!!! Anderson stormed down to Briggs' office. He had some major questions now.

 

"We're going to SNA?!"Colbie yelled, she was a bit nervous and scared but excited at the same time. She was finally going to take charge of her own life and do what she wanted. She followed Daisuke, since she didn't know how to get there.

 

(OWDF)

Ide heard the announcement over the intercom.

"You've gotta be kidding me! Why would Itsuki do something so rash on his own?" Ide ran after Colbie and Daisuke. He ran down to the vehicles garage and got onto his motorcycle. He may be refined, and intelectual, but he loved motorcycles as well. He reved up the engine and sped out of the garage toward Itsuki's location. he spoke into the helmet's mike, which he had installed.

"Daisuke...There's no way we can take on the SNA like this! Inside that building are thousands of specially trained and ARMED Agents. not to mention Anderson. I think it would be best if we simply grabbed Itsuki and got out, but we should scatter so that they can't follow us back to base."

(Meanwhile at SNA)

Anderson heard the alarm go off.

"You've gotta be ****ing kidding me! We're under attack!?!" he couldn't deal with that now. there were guards and Agents to handle that for him. besides he needed to speak to Briggs. He burst through the doctor's office door not bothering to knock. "BRIGGS! you have some explaining to do!"

 

(OWDF)
"Ide is right, I don't think we should be doing this now, Daisuke." She pleaded "We don't have enough people they would kill us in a second." She was so worried about Itsuki, she would kill those guards if anything happened to him. "Why would he go there by himself, he's just a kid!" She yelled.

(SNA)
Stella grabbed her buster sword and ran over to where Anderson was. "Sir, would you like me to deal with them?" But she knew her fate, she would die in a battle with the OWDF and maybe today was the day.

 

SNA HQ (briggs's office)
Briggs had hos pistol out before anderson busted the door. BLAM! down he went.Briggs kicked anderson in the stomache for good measure, before charging into the battle rapidly shooting SNA officers.

240 got a distress signal from Briggs, and he charged into the madness, while looking for briggs, blasting away at troops.

 

"Stop right there!" Stella yelled as she ran after Itsuki she noticed he was rather small, but she wouldn't hesitate to fight a little kid.

 

Stella quickly moved out of the way of the knife, "I don't want to fight you," She said I just want to talk to you, so what do you say we put our weapons down and work this out?" She asked the boy.
