Those Who Defy Fate (Actual RP)

(OWDF HQ)

"A new mission?" Ide asked Daisuke "what did the SNA do now? or did we locate a new possible member?" Ide wouldn't mind going on a mission soon. he had cooped up in the HeadQuarters for a while now, and he was itching to see some action.

"And what about 24-o?" he asked. "where has he been?"

 

Colbie stopped walking when she heard 240's name, "Yeah, where has he been?" She walked back to the others "I haven't seen him all day."

 

Two trucks drove full speed at 240's left and right sides. He extended his arms, and the trucks came crashing into him. he thanked his maker that he was made from duralite titanium. a third truck drove at him from the front. his hands were embedded in the fronts of the original trucks. He blasted the two trucks stuck to his fists, making them explode. he blasted the truck coming for him, BOOOOOM! it went up in flames. Bullseye. thought 240. However, with more troops after him, he knew he'd have to make a quick break for it. Shooting the news choppers into the incoming units, he bought himself enough time to slip away (not without the help of his rocket boosters, though).

15 minutes later, OWDF HQ

240 was dented, battered, and "bruised". He arrived and quickly plugged himself in just before he succumbed to lack of battery, right on the torn couch by the entryway.

 

As Colbie and the others were taking, she could hear footsteps and metal clinking coming from the other room. She ran in to see 240 lying on the couch, he was badly beaten. She ran over to his side and shook him. "240! What happened to you?!" She asked.

 

240 slowly turned his head. he couldn't tell who was shaking him, his visual scanners were almost out. his system was slowly shutting programs down to conserve battery. he couldn't speak. he made some sort of a fuzzy crackling sound before passing out again.

 

(OWDF HQ)
hearing Colbie's exclamation Ide went after her leaving Daisuke there in the training room. He saw that 24-o was badly damaged.

"Damn it! the SNA must've gotten to him. who else would have attacked him? If that's they case then that means they figured out he has a connection to us, which is very dangerous. We can't afford to have him taced back to our HQ, I don't think 24-o should go out on missions for a while."

(meanwhile at SNA HQ)

Anderson was very angry to hear that the android escaped them again, so angry he threw one of the workers out of a nearby window, the poor guy fell to his death. Though Anderson didn't care seeing as that man was due to die that way at that exact time anyway. He went to Stella.

"Next time that thing is spotted, I want more than just the local cops on scene. send in the Special forces!"

 

(OWDF)
"What if they come after us?" Colbie asked Ide. "What if they followed him? What if they know where we are?" She was breathing heavily and was extremely nervous "and what do we do about 240? I don't know how to take care of a robot!" She started to sweat and shake a little. "240!" She yelled to him "Please wake up!"

(SNA)
Stella was startled by Anderson, she can't even remember the last time she seen him this angry. "Sir, I'm sorry I will call every soldier, every cop, and everyone I can even think of to get the robot." She said with a worried look on her face. "I'm sorry."

 

240 shook himself out of it. most of his programs were online now. he looked over at the worried group. My, my, maker...he said slowly, He had a brother, kinda' my uncle. 240 liked that. "his uncle". he, he, lives in a a mansion somewhere, i know the location. 240 brought up his GPS he mentaly scanned through the locations, seeing only what HE could see. there it was. on an intersection between Woodrow and 20'th. Good... thought 240, banishing the gps from his mind. he sttood, wobbled a bit, and regained himself. he started to slowly head for the door, his joints creaking softly.

Hey, I'ma gonna make 240's uncle a character...

 

(OWDF HQ: 24-o's room)

"24-o! You need to rest for now!" yelled Ide. "You're in no condition to be active, not in that state. Besides, the SNA could be tracing you. If you go out again you could be captured, and then the worst case senario is that you lead them strait to us. I will not allow you to put anyone here in danger!" Ide was in a way panicing, and in a rash move he used 24-o's hidden manual overdrive to tempararily shut him down. "Don't worry," he said to Colbie reassuringly. "I'll get him to the Tech lab to have him fixed up...and maybe they can override his programming to make him less rash. Still we should inform Daisuke about 24-o's "uncle" he could be useful."

(SNA HQ: Command room)

"I don't want excuses Stella, I want results! Right now that android is our only lead! If this happens again, God help me, I'll RUIN your career, or worse your LIFE!" Anderson was beyond pissed off, he was livid. Why his underlings so incompetent was unbelievable to him.

 

(OWDF)
"Alright," Colbie nodded to Ide "I'm coming to the lab with you, I need to make sure he's okay."

(SNA)
Stella didn't even know what to say. She just stood there, jaw dropped and staring into space. She felt like saying sorry again but she knew it would just make him even more mad. So she just walked away.

 

240 finally got himself back online.he was being carried to the lab. he got up and walked away, before those carrying him could speak. he had fixed his internal bugs after he had been turned off. if they would've tried to touch his circuits they would've been zapped with power, even if they turned him off! it was a defense mechanisim. he walked out the door, headed for his uncle's. not wanting to be followed he switched to stealth mode, turning him invisible. if someone ran into him, however, he would be in trouble.

 

"24-o!" yelled Ide. but it was too late. 24-o was gone and dissapeared. This wasn't good. with 24-o in the open it was on;y a matter of time before the SNA caught wind of him, and then, the entire group would be in trouble!

"Colbie! We have to tell Daisuke what's happened! If the SNA catch 24-o we're all in danger! We may have to prepare for an evacuation in case the SNA show up." Ide ran back to the training room where he had left Daisuke. hopefully he would still be there.

 

240 ran, before thinking twice. he walked over to a motorcycle, plugged himself into it (don't ask me how) and took off, tearing down the street. he was still in stealth mode, so it looked like no one was driving. the motorcycle was chatting with him. it was an old machine, and it knew a lot. he parked it in the shade (it thanked him for that) before running to the 3-story building of his "uncle" and cautiously entered.

 

Colbie was shocked and scared at the same time. What if they found him? The thought almost brought a tear to her eye. She ran with Ide back to the training room.

 

the door was answered. 240 grabbed his "uncle" and ran. he initiated his jetpack. fwoooom! soon they arrived home.240 walked in the door, still holding doctor briggs in his arms. he turned off the camoflauge and set briggs down. he sat on the couch and plugged himself in. his jetpack took a lot out of him. "where aam I?" asked briggs, looking around.

 

Colbie could hear noises from the training room, was he back? She ran to the other room to find 240 and a man she had never seen before. "What were were you thinking?" She yelled to him "You could have been killed! And who is this man?"

 

240 looked at her. she had concern in her eyes. a look that he had never seen before. concern. concern for...for...him? Dr Briggs smoothed out his jacket, and eyed the girl. "hold it." he said, "I know where i am...this is TWDF HQ! He looked at the girl again, "Don't worry he said. I'm a fate-defyer myself! I'm a spy. I pretend to work for SNA, I've learned a lot that way, wow, i haven't been here in, 15 years! Is my desk still here!? I have so many questions!

 

Colbie looked at the man "You work for the SNA?" She asked with concern "Do you know a women named Stella?"

 

briggs scowled. "Yeah, I know her. her and her leader Anderson. I hate them both, except not so much Stella, she doesn't seem to fit in with the rest...Like she's just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I think she would join, if we could convince her, and I don't work for SNA, I spy on them." said Briggs.
