Tales of a Journey (Private!)

"Something practical? Huh, this might be a lot tougher than we thought," Scarlett said as Audri sat down in a chair as she tried to think of something that this Master might want.

"Hey, don't give Audri and Scarlett any ideas," Xander whined as he sat down next to her ginger sweetheart as the red head looked over as Neli entered the room.
"Well, I now this might not be the time to ask, but what are we going to tell Ranma if he remembers?" Scarlett asks as Xander looked at the girl confused, "What do you mean?"
"I mean, like... What if there was some type of miracle where he gets his memory back, and maybe Riri's with someone else. What are we supposed to do then," Scarlett said as she looked at the others knowing that this was the last thing they wanted to talk about.

"Oh, I think I have an idea of what we can give that Aftificer, but I'm not entirely sure if it's any good," Audri said trying to move the conversation away from Riri and Ranma since that was all anyone was worrying about.
"What type of gift are you suggesting?" Xander asked wanting to bump the conversation as well as the blonde crossed her arms over her chest, "I was thinking about supplies of a sort. I have some extra ingredients and tools from working on all of those artificial bodies. Think that would work?"

"E-easy on the drinking Riri!" Zero pipped up as the fox girl guzzled down another bottle of red wine down. "Like hell you're taking my liquor away," Riri snapped as Matthew was sitting in between the two siblings with a bump on his head, "Calm down you two or I'm not paying the tab for these rounds."
"Tch, prissy fox boy," Riri grumbled under her breath as she folded her arms before lying her head down on the table.
"Are you o-" "I hate this. I never thought that having a broken heart would hurt like this," Riri whined as Chaos and Zero glanced over at Matthew, hoping that he would try to comfort her. "U-um, look Riri. We know that it's tough, but why don't you move on? I mean, he's only human," Matthew said placing his arm on her back as she looked up at the fox man sighing, "I know Matty, but it's.... I dunno. Can you get me and yourselves another round?"

"Um, actually, I have some work to do. Sorry I can't stick around Riri," Chaos said as he picked Zero up off his lap and scrambled from the chair bowing slightly, "I'll see you two later then." "S-same here. Just don't go overboard Riri," Zero said as he quietly walked off his Chaos with whatever business they had to do leaving the green and white haired Tsukis sitting there.
"I have some work to do for Andre too, but I'll buy another round. Just... give yourself time to think on this whole manner and get some rest," Matthew said as he quickly got up from his chair ruffling Riri's hair before he went to the bar to ask for another bottle of wine to be delivered to the table.

Riri sat at the table seeing the mess that her friends had left behind, but it made her heart ache when she saw Ranma earlier. She just let a deep sigh out of her nose as she waited for her bottle of wine to come around, knowing that she might as well enjoy the drink for now.

 

"Right, well I'll be back in a few minutes then," Audri said as she snapped her fingers together and her white rose-engraved door appeared in the air. She winked as she opened the door, locking it behind her so no one tried to get sneaky and tried to go inside.

"I mean, come on Kinta. There's so many fish in the sea that can scoop up Riri by this point," Scarlett said a little annoyed that the man wasn't trying to face true facts that can happen any moment as Xander scratched the back of his head, "Err, Scarlett's right Kinta. With Riri this vulnerable, I wouldn't be surprised if she just jumped ship every time a guy talks to her! Man, what a hell of a sight I'd love to see... Sorry, force of habit being sadistic and all."
Scarlett pouted out her lips before grinning in Kinta's direction, "And you guys wonder why I love this Nobody."

 

"Well, now we know where to go, but what is Baroque Caverns again?" Scarlett asked as Xander just stood there shrugging, "The hell would I know. But if Kinta knows where the hell this place is, it shouldn't be a problem, correct?"

"I guess not," Scarlett said still a little worried as the door to Audri's mind opened up as Audri was carrying a brown sack over her shoulders smiling, "Got the stuff!" "That's great, but we don't need all of the tools right now Audri," Xander said as the door disappeared into thin air as Audri stood there with the sack with the smile dropping off of her face, being replaced with an annoyed look instead.

"The hell am I supposed to do with this then?" Audri whined as Scarlett walked over and opened up a portal, "Just toss it through here and we'll fetch it later. We have to go to some place called Baroque Caverns." "Oh, yay a trip!" Audri said a little excited before she realized something, "But what about Riri and Ranma and the others?"

The Nobody and ginger looked behind them seeing Riri sitting at the table twirling a fork in her hair still waiting for her wine. "Well, a few of us can go with Kinta on his little trip while we just hang around here for a bit longer," Xander commented as Scarlett grinned, "Besides, Riri is a big girl. It's not like she's going to be doing anything stupid!"

"Yeah, like anything you say doesn't jinx things around here," Xander said shaking his head before Scarlett stomped on his foot for his little side comment.

Audri glanced over at Scarlett not even sure how to answer Kinta's question. "I'd lie if I were you," Scarlett said commenting quickly as she stepped through the portal grabbing Xander's hand as the new couple walked through.

Audri just glanced back at Riri feeling bad for the fox girl who would either never love again, or never want to be around with the issues between her & Ranma.
"Man, can't relationships ever be easy?" Audri asked herself aloud as she thought back to what Kinta asked her, knowing that she'd have to tell Kinta the truth one day about his grumpy attitude. Seeing as the blonde was the last one left behind, she skipped into the portal, hoping that the others haven't left without her on the other side.

"There was a fortuneteller involved?" Scarlett asked raising her eyebrow as Audri shrugged.

The sudden disappearance of the robot girl made Scarlett a little nervous, knowing how Neli was lost the last time because of the whole young Malisa issue, and if Audri started going into a panicking frenzy, who knows what the hell she might do.
"U-Um, me and Xander are going to go take a look for some other things, maybe try to catch up with Florence a little bit," Scarlett said quickly as Xander looked at the ginger Sin confused as Audri nodded a little confused with the sudden gesture, "If you want, but are sure you don't wanna come along?"

"Naw, besides, my and fortunetellers don't go together at all," Scarlett said remembering the last time her older sister made her go to a fortuneteller, paying the person to tell Scarlett's fortune that she'd live a shitty live. "Well, whatever then. Can you give me the brown sack with tool before you leave then?" Audri asked as the girl nodded opening up a portal and pulling out the familiar sack before handing it over to Audri.

Riri almost jumped out of her skin when the man sat down next to her before he spoke. The fox girl cocked her head to the side as she looked at the fairly dressed man, wondering if he was just a hallucination or just some random guy thinking he'd get a chance to get laid.
"I have no idea if you're real by this point since it's been at least a few years since I've seen any weird hallucinations, also I don't remember how many bottles I've had tonight. But I will say this, handsome fellow, I was not crying at all! ...Well, maybe just a little bit," Riri said holding her fingers apart a few centimeters away as a waiter came by with the bottle of wine that Matthew had paid for her earlier. Riri was about to open up the wine bottle before her train of thought came to a sudden stop. She turned her attention to the man next to her with a confused look on her face, "W-wait, did you say that I was beautiful?"

Audri stepped into the shop as she wondered why the Cu Sith looked so tired. She carefully walked over as she nudged the rabbit a little worried that it was going to slap her away.

"Um, pardon me, but we wanted to ask something from you," Audri said as softy as she could, not wanting to scare the rabbit-like creature from its slumber as it lied itself against the desk.

Riri glanced at Darius feeling her cheeks starting to burn up as the man sitting with her at the table spoke.
Who the hell is this guy? He's pretty overdressed from what I can see, The fox girl thought to herself as she uncorked the wine before filling up her glass again.
"Charmed to meet you Mr. Kuro, my name is just Riri. Hardly remember my last name since it's been so many years to properly introduce myself, oh dear I'm rambling again," Riri said nervously as she grabbed her glass drinking some of the wine down, trying to ease the tension off her shoulders.

 

Audri nodded as she stood by the desk before pulling the brown sack off of her shoulders and placing it down on the table as she opened it up.

"Here you go m'am. I don't know, but I think that some of this stuff will be of some use," Audri said a little cheerfully as she started pulling the various tools out of the the sack.

"Well, I'm just used to the alcohol levels because my species had to drink various alcohol brands that we either made or bought when water was scare. Thankfully, this is the last drink I'll have for tonight since my friends paid for this last bottle," Riri said as she turned the glass carefully in her hands before looking over at Darius with a faint frown grew on her face.

"Besides, why I'm trying to drink away like no tomorrow is because of a first-love heartache. I didn't think that falling in love would hurt, mostly when the idiot I had dated had gotten friggen amnesia. I can't even tell him that we were dating because he's a bit of a bastard and we always were fighting with each other about everything," Riri said closing her eyes for a moment before holding the bottle of wine with her other hand out to the brunette, "I'm sorry for dropping my awkward relationship problems on you Darius. I guess I just really haven't had time to sort anything from this matter out yet. All I have done so far is trying to drink my problems and feelings away, which is never the right decision for anyone to make or do."

Riri opened her eyes for a moment before placing her glass and the wine bottle down on the table before her before turning to the man next to her smiling a little, "I know that I might forget half of this conversation by tomorrow morning because of the major hangover, but what brings a nice gent like you to sit with a green haired fox girl like little old me?"

 

Audri nodded a little at the Artificer's question, but she knew that she she was probably getting ignored as the Cu Sith had explained to Kinta about the properties of the bracelet. She let her eyes wander to the window, which suddenly had a confused look on her face as she saw these 3 white furry fox-like creatures with puffy tails that were looking into the shop.

Audri was curious about the creatures looking into the shop window, but she suddenly snapped back as she looked over at the Cu Sith, "Is there anything that we can do if the bracelet ends up lost or broken in some way by accident? Just out of curiosity that is.."

Riri felt her heart starting to skip a beat as the blush started surfacing a deeper red on her face as the man spoke about his reasoning.
An emerald among dirt clods? An intelligent lady? My beauty is... quite rare?! W-wow, this guy really knows how to throw in some comments around that would make any girl special, Riri thought to herself as she had her hands resting on her knees as she grabbed a little bit of her dress as she looked up at the charming man.

"I-I don't think that I'm anything special r-really. L-like I really don't think that I'm all that beautiful, o-or that I'm even that interesting," Riri stuttered a little thinking about how this guy was being really nice to her, but she felt like she really didn't need Darius' comments.
She... She felt like she didn't deserve such attention from such a nice guy like him. Then again, this is probably the most attention a guy has ever given her in her life before.
Crap, now I'm regretting saying that since I might of set him off, or maybe it's for the best... Oh who am I kidding, this guy is kind of cute and he's a gentleman? Huh, he's different from the rest I have ever met before, Riri thought to herself as she looked away from him trying to hide her blushing face amongst her long, green hair flowing down.

 

Audri shook her hands nervously as she grabbed Kinta's free hand loosely, "W-well the best to you then, and thanks for the help!"

As the angel decided to take a leave out of the shop, she was soon stopped when she saw the three foxes sitting around the front of the doorway flicking their tails around. "Erm, can you please move?" Audri asked the foxes like they could understand her before two of the foxes stepped forward and started rubbing themselves against her legs making a weird type of growling sound.

Audri looked over at Kinta raising a brow wondering what was with these foxes as the third fox still sitting in its place just looking up at her with its hazel eyes.

Riri shook herself out of her thoughts as she had frozen up a little when he lifted up her bangs to see her face.
"O-of course. I g-guess I'll see you around then, I should be h-heading off too," Riri said now noticing what time it was when she scrambled from her seat looking over at Darius before she did a little curtsy.

"I-it was really nice to m-meet you!" Riri said as she picked up what was the left of the wine bottle before she left the restarant on her own. Holy good god, I need to speak to someone now about this! Don't care who, don't care what they say!Riri thought to herself as she corked up the bottle as she started walking a little faster than usual.

"Come on Xander, how hard can it be to find one robot?" Scarlett said as they were looking around the Knowledge District trying to find the blonde robot. "I have no ide- Wait, isn't that Matthew?" Xander said as he gestured over seeing Matthew was looking through the crowds, as if he was looking for someone or something frantically.

"Hey, Matty!" Scarlett shouted waving her hands as the fox man perked his head and noticed the odd couple before walking over to them.
"Hey Matthew, aren't you supposed to be doing something for Andre?" Xander asked as the fox man glanced around nodding, "Of course. But then I got a call from my brothers and-" "Wait, you never told us that you have brothers," Scarlett said as the man scratched the back of his head, "Well, I didn't think it was- STOP DISTRACTING ME! I have to find those idiots because they cause any ruckus.. Wait, why the hell are you two here?"

"Well, Kinta needs a new bracelet, so we decided to come here, and then Neli went off somewhere," Scarlett explained as the two followed the fox man as he walked back towards the center of the area still looking for his brothers.

OOC: Well, I could fit that in somehow. I'll have to check through things again..

 

The foxes' ears perked up almost immediately when they heard Riri's name. All three foxes were now rubbing up against Audri's legs in a loving fashion as Audri looked down at the mass of white fur that was starting to stick to her clothing. "Damn, they really know how to shed," Audri said as she scooped up all three foxes in her arms and carried them like a bundle of toys.

She looked over at Kinta smiling, "I think that we should probably hang on to these little guys, maybe they will either help us or Riri in some way!" The foxes just flicked their tails around looking up at Audri while one of them nuzzled their head onto her chest. Audri was about to be sucked into the cute act by the foxes before she looked up at Kinta blushing, "A-anyways, should we go and find that fortune teller that you were talking about earlier?"

"So, you have three brothers-"
"Who are Tsukis like you, Zero, and Riri?" Xander asked finishing Scarlett's statment as Matthew nodded, "They were almost abandoned because they saw me as the strongest of my siblings that could be.... heir material in a sense. Plus, I'm pretty damn foxy."

"Har har, you are just as bad as Ranma with puns," Scarlett said as Matthew scratched his head as they stood by for a moment, "Anyways, they cause havoc by trying to go after virgins, mostly girls since they like to "play" around with their food before killing them."
"That's.... Wow, your species is pretty barbaric," Xander said shuddering at the thought as Matthew shrugged lightly, "Well, some families rather adapt with the worlds and other cultures at the time while others were left in a type of Dark Ages period. Fortunately for me, I was able to get away and live as a techno geek dealing with clubs, strippers, and probably some munny out of it all."

Riri was a little startled, but she made sure to not drop the wine bottle as she looked up at Yani that was on her back. "Hey Yani. Is my face really that red?" Riri asked now curious on how red her face looked. She really needs to keep a mirror on her or something.

Riri was shaken out of her thoughts as she pushed the rabbit girl off of her, "And I know that we're not good friends or whatever, but why are you here? I... vaguely remember seeing you not too long ago with some wolf kid, but... Yeah, my mind's slipped me, but anyways! Why are you here again?"
