Frature Abbatis (Actual Private RP)

Shuji watched the man as he walked through the gates, his face void of expression for the time being. His read eyes seemed to focus clearly on the head phones for the man's I-pod, if only for a second. He was leaning against an ivory column of the gate, chances were that the person he was watching wouldn't notice him, unless his senses were keen.

He had wondered why he was wasting his time at this university. The chances of anyone here knowing anything abou thim were slim to none. He sighed briefly as he realized he really had -nothing- better to do than scope out anyone interesting at a school of which the education level seemed to be below what he would prefer.

The air around Shuji began to drop to freezing temperatures, he hadn't intended to do this, but he cared little enough not to worry about fixing it. He followed the man curiously. "I wonder if he can hear me." He said to himself.

 

A girl stood in a dorm room she set a duffle bag on the bed and sat down looking around. A little over an hour ago she arrived at Frature Abbatis, a school that would supposidely help her learn her pyschic powers. She could hear her bag unzipping as items began to float out of the bag to different locations in the room. Slowly her room got set up and she stood up and looked at her room. A picture of her and her parents sat on the dresser as well as a picture of her and her grandmother. Books were stacked on the dresser, clothes in the drawer, and a purple comforter was on the bed.

She exited the room her iPhone began ringing as she picked it up.

"Grandma?" She answered.

"Faith! Did you arrive safely at the school?" She asked.

"Yeah about an hour ago. I'm about to check everything out." The girl, Faith, explained.

"Alright, remember I'll be calling you every night." Her grandmother reminded her.

"Alright, talk to you later grandma..." She hung up and looked down at the map walking forward not paying attention when she ran into a boy listening to an iPod.

 

"Wow, the air over here is just so crisp and light, but I'm happier that there's enough water in the area for me to play around with," Alice said to herself as she walked along the roads as she knew that she was getting close to the school.
Alice has already been to the school a couple of hours ago as she kept getting lost trying to figure out what direction to go in after she lost her map. But when she got to the school, she got herself unpacked and set off to see what to do around this place since if there wasn't anything fun to do, she'd have to figure out another way to entertain herself. Which led to her going off the school grounds for a while since she had time to kill.

Alice was making her way back onto the school grounds before her phone started going off in her pocket. She fumbled around before she grabbed the phone and answered it.
"Hello?" Alice said as she kept walking a bit as she saw a few students far from where she was at the moment.
"Is this our sweet and adventurous daughter Alice?" The other line recipient said with a cheerful tone in their voice as Alice laughed nervously, "Of course it is! Thanks for getting a hold of me before I got to the school mom."

"You still haven't found the school and you're still carrying all your stuff with you? Did you lose the map, or did you trade the map for a plant?" The woman said on the other line with an exasperated tone in her voice.
"No, I didn't. But I meant that I was just coming back to the school because I was going on a little field trip of my own to check out the area. It's so beautiful and so fertile! I think this was the best idea ever to come and study over here," Alice said as she came to a stop as her mother started crying on the other line, "My little girl is all grown up!"

"C-calm down mom, I'll drop by to visit once in a while! I think you can wait a little longer," Alice said nervous about how her mother was going to be ok or not until she heard the phone line go dead.
"And there goes another phone call that ends in tears," Alice said to herself a little worried about her mother, but she knew that her mother had her own manners to attend to, which will at least keep her busy instead of worrying over her.

Alice was about to start thinking about what her classes are going to be this year, but she cut herself short as she saw two boys and a girl walking until a boy with a short reddish blonde and the girl stumbled into each other. "Huh, wonder if I can make friends easily," Alice muttered to herself as she walked closer to the three students wondering what type of elements they all might be.

 

"Umm yeah, I'm really sorry, I should watch where I'm going..." Faith apologized quickly and took his hand and thanking him quickly for it.

"I really am sorry, I'm Faith and I'm sort of new around here." She told him as she knelt down to help pick up his stuff.

 

The air around Shuji seemed to only become colder, frigid as his eyes looked upon the students getting calls from their parents. 'I love you honey~!' 'I love you too mom, bye~!' Colder, and colder still as he continued to follow the boy, Kai, it seemed he had already started to be friendly with the girl, Faith, seemed to be her name. 'Don't stay up too late!' 'I won't dad...' another kid spoke with his parents. Shuji was unaware of why this made his abilities act up, he wondered, suddenly, if he had any parents that would want to call him. "Perhaps not" he said aloud as he stopped a few feet behind Kai and leaned against the wall.

His eyes analyzed Kai, he seemed carefree, the smile on his face being a key indicator as well as the tone of his voice. He then looked towards the girl, she seemed more withdrawn. "Maybe" he spoke to himself again. 'I know that big brother! Man you're such a pain! Let me talk to Mom!' another stuent yelled into his phone. Shuji just continued to observe.

The halls were lively, obviously. All of the phone calls had actually started to irritate him. The need for an attatchment to these people, through cell phones or whatever other means, it was annoying to him now. He didn't understand. He looked to his right near the cieling, the clock conveyed to him that there was another hour to go before classes started. Apparently the dean had left time for students to settle in. Shuji found it trivial, then again he had no personal belongings other than a few changes of clothing, a torn picture that he kept in his pocket, and a crystal necklace the he kept hidden under his white jacket. "One hour." he droned.

 

The teal-haired girl kept walking forward as she looked at the clock on her phone to see what the time even was. She saw that school wasn't going to start until at least an hour from now.

Well, I guess I can probably use this time to make friends, or enemies, depending on the circumstances, Alice thought to herself as she noticed that as she kept walking forward, the air around her was starting to get colder. She thought that it was a little weird since it was sunny outside and she was pretty sure that it was just warmer a couple of minutes ago.
She stopped for a second as she let a puff of mist escape her lips which slowly turned into a tiny amount of snowflakes because of the cold, condensing air in the area.

Huh, this is actually pretty nice. It's been a while since I've ever been around the snow, She thought to herself smiling as she blew out another puff of mist letting it turn into small snowflakes. She was so entertained with the snowflakes that she almost forgot about how cold the air was until she felt a sudden chill run down her spine.
She jumped a little because the air suddenly felt colder around her before she looked around seeing people were pretty much minding their own business. Most people were talking on their phones or saying good bye to their parents.

Alice was pretty glad that her parents weren't there since she knew that she would probably have a hard time trying to get them to leave, but she was snapped out of her thoughts when she saw a guy with long black hair that was just leaning on the nearby wall.
Alice looked over in his direction seeing that it wasn't like he was doing anything or talking with anyone, it was like he was just observing the crowds around him. Something about the guy seemed a little odd to her, but she couldn't exactly put her finger on it at the time as a few students were running past her and almost knocked her to the ground as they ran towards the main building.
"W-woah!" Alice squeaked as she flailed her arms a little before a burst of water sprouted up from the air behind her, which pushed her forward and evaporated into the air.
Alice stood there a little shaken up before she snapped her fingers again and a small water bubble appeared in the air before she popped it into her mouth and swallowed it like it was a small sip of water.
"Well, that was a tad refreshing I suppose," Alice said with a smile on her face before she went and walked over to a few of the nearby trees and sitting by one of them to lean against.

 

Faith smiled. She was given te option to start today, but she didn't have to, she really was suppose to start the next day. She looked at Kai and smiled,

"I'd like that." Faith smiled taking the hand offered to her onto the board.

"Are you like a psychic or something?" She asked surprised seeing the board levitate. "The last I heard there's very few tre psychics left." She explained.

 

"I'm a psychic, mind, whatever element. I'm sort o part human too but for whatever reasons I have full powers unlike my grandmother." Faith told him. She kept her balance on the board and looked around feeling the wind through her hair.

"Hey we need to stop here real quick"

She looked at him confused while also taking in the landscaping of the park.

 

Shuji had followed the two of them, the air around him still frigid as he watched the boy shout from atop his 'slip stream'. Shuji wondered if it was so hard for Kai to walk from place to place, rather than exerting elemental energy. It would be easy however, for Shuji to freeze the moisture in the air and slide right along to his class. He thought about this for several moments and then shook his head. "Showy." he said in a simple tone.

He watched Kai as he hovered over the trees, their green leaves swaying from the shifts in the air. "Woo, hoo." He mumbled before using shadows on the ground to determine the time. "Thirty minutes." He ran a hand through his dark hair before walking back towards the university building. "I'll be early." He stated. "Hopefully...it will be quiet."

 

"So what all is around campus?" Faith asked as they glided a long. She quickly grabbed on to Kai. She held on as tight as she could so that she wasn't going to fall off though shed be able to catch herself. She glanced at her watch.

"Thirty minutes to class and I have no idea where I'm going!" She exclaimed shocked by how much time has passed by.
