    this has to my favourite mini game in ff history.
    so many hours spent raising my team, selling players to get better ones. the actual game play was very tactical as well as entertaing.
    did anyone else like blitzball and if so what was your squad and best match.

    Dear God I hated this. To be honest, I thought the concept drug the story down in the beginning. There was a marked improvement in the story once you passed Luca. And besides that, it was just a royal pain. I played that one game you have to play, and after that I just couldn't be bothered to mess with it.

    I have a love/hate relationship with blitzball. My competitive nature refuses to allow me to lose that first battle, so I'll replay it over and over as needed until I win. I usually make a team and play whenever I get bored with the story, if only to get Wakka's overdrives and celestial weapon. By the time I get those, I'm usually bored of blitzball and waste my time on the other unfun sidequests in X, like dodging 200 lightning bolts.

    I love blitzball. I don't remember my team exactly, but my record is like 40-2 (i keep track cuz im a loser haha) And ever sense I paid attention to team building I haven't lost a game.

    same here i havent lost a game yet because of trading players and I dont know my best team but my best character is tidas at level 27.

    i didnt like it that much myself at first, but as i leaned it and got the mechanics down i really enjoyed burying opponents in goals; especially the luca goers i HATED them!! the most i ever scored on them was 9-0

    Was I the only one who had trouble getting the Jecht Shot on that damn boat? I reset the game so many times I could say every one of Jecht's stupid lines by heart. v_v But if you wanna beat the Goers in the tournament, you gotta have it. v_v

    If you want hard, try figuring out what the hell to do with blitzball in X-2. That made absolutely no sense to me. They should've just left the game as it was in X.

    AHHHHHHH! Blitzball has got to be the most frustrating thing I have ever tried to understand. Every time I thought I figured it out, the other team scored like fifty points and I had no idea how it was leagal for them to do it!

    at first i really hated blitzball cuz i didnt understand how to play and everyone never blocked but after getting brother it waz like super easy to win xD
    from there i kept whoever i liked ^-^'' i really enjoyed playing it and seeing tidus do the jecht shot afterwards cuz i waz finally winning xP

    I loved this.I played Final Fantasy over just for it. At first I ended up losing maybe because I was slow and couldn't figure out the controls but when you start winning it becomes real game. I would agree with it being a FIFA and NFL game in one.Players having special abilities and such made it even more worthwhile. I was expecting a Final Fantasy Blitzball edition from this.

    I had missed getting the Jecht Shot at first and I still beat the Goers. Sometime later I got back on the boat and got it. It is aggrivating to get the Jecht Shot 2 when you first try to get it after your 50th game. My best score was something like 13-0.

    I sucked at blitzball, especially the first time I played X. I can usually start out ahead of the Goers, but without the Jecht shot they always managed to catch up and pass me in the final round. The Jecht Shot and Wakka's Venom Shot or whatever it is he comes equipped with makes getting ahead early much easier.

    I've never gotten the Jecht Shot 2. I've never managed to get any of my players all of the key techniques they need to move up.

    i found it really cool.but I got the jecht shot even if I didn't finish the minigame thing.My best is 21-0
