>His character went away, so until Denki posts again we just say Dune is doing whatever.<

"There's just Mokona, the Black Mokona, and Yuko." Mokona answered.

"How fun. Hey, if you ever end up actually taking us to my world I think my dad will get a kick out of seeing you. He's kinda wierd like that. Not quite sure how my mom would react though. I suppose she's seen wierder things." As he walked, Gerik looked around to see anything that looked like an inn. It was difficult, since all the signs were in some strange language that just looked like a child's doodle. He ended up looking into the windows, seeing if there were any places.

"This place looks good. Let's try here." Gerik entered the building.

He walked up to the front desk. "Hello. I'm visiting now and I'm not familiar with the city. Would this place happen to be an inn? And if not, would you happen to know where one is?"

The person behind the desk smiled and bowed. "Ah yes. This is an inn sir. How may I help you."

"Thank heaven." Gerik though. "Well, I need a room for me and three friends."

The person reached under the desk and pulled out a key. "Room 303."

"Thank you." Gerik said, taking the key. He grabbed some gold coins he had. "I don't have any of this place's currency, but would this be all right?"

The person looked at the coins. "Ooooohhh. This must be very rare. Where did you find these?"

"My dad. He travels everywhere, looking for ancient ruins."

"How nice. Yes, this will do."

"Thank you." Gerik said before walking to wherever the room was.

 

"Arigato!" Dune yells to the shop merchant as he leaves the clothing store with his cloak folded up in his arms, and a t-shirt on with a popular mascot. "What a nice old man. I wonder if most of these people know about what is going on out there. I really haven't seen anything about it around here."

All of a sudden a screaming girl, just about his age, run's past Dune with a group of four guys following her. She was in a long white dress, with a light pink belt, and a light pink Jacket. Her hair kept Dune from seeing her face, which was long, brown, and flowing behind her, reaching as far as her knees. As she ran past a Chime came from out of nowhere. Dune didn't hear it, as he put his foot out, and tripped the four people chasing her. They all fell to the ground on top of each other.

The girl turns and looks at Dune, as the men stand up and get around him.

"What do you think you are doing?" Said one of the men, which he seemed to only be a grunt, at least by how he was dressed.

"Stopping four idiots from hurting a pretty young lady."

 

"Hey guys, the room is this way." Gerik said, turning around. He noticed Kane and Kana were gone. "What the hell? Mokona, did you see them leave?"

"Nope." Mokona answered.

"They do realize that if they're not close to you they won't understand what somebody is saying, right? Oh well. I hope they know where to go." Gerik continued walking down the hall, reaching the room he rented out. He entered the room and threw himself onto a bed. "Good heavens this is wonderful." Gerik yawned loudly. "I am so exhausted."

"Are you sure it's okay for you to just doze off like that?" Mokona questioned.

"Of course. I would drink a bit before dozing off, but I don't see any booze here. You'd be welcome do drink as well, since Kane isn't here to stop you."

 

"Couldn't be helped. Thanks for the help, but I think I can handle these posers easy." Dune said forgetting it was point less with out Mokona around.

"Hey, you looking for trouble?" Said the first Thug with the Leader jumping in quickly. "Well, you found it!" The Leader throws a punch, only to have Dune grab his fist, and to be pulled over Dune's body, and on his back onto the ground.

"Anyone else?" Said Dune, as the Thugs hesitate for a minute. After a few seconds they rush in towards Kane and Dune.

Dune takes care of the thug after him, and when he looks up to make sure the Girl is ok, she is mysteriously gone. "Wh-here did she...?" The Thug Dune just beat gets back up, and Dune takes care of him quickly again.

 

"Are you sure you can trust these new friends of yours?" A voice echoed out across Gerik's dream.

"Of course I can." Gerik answered. It didn't matter to him that the voice in his dream sounded familiar. "We may all have different reasons for traveling, but these people are alright. I can relate with Kane. After all, if LeAnn was captured I'd want to save her as soon as possible."

"You know, as fun as the idea of kidnapping LeAnn sounds, I'd rather keep things original. And she doesn't matter anyways."

"So let me guess. You're somebody I know and it is your fault that Kane is traveling with us."

"Exactly. But that's not all. I gave Darmeth the power to travel across dimensions. He needed to bring Kane out, shake things up a bit. Not only that, but were you ever told Dune's story? The reason he's traveling is to get the strength to defeat the witch who conquered his home. I gave the witch the strength for her to take over. Not only that, but she's actively searching for Dune. She's a little upset that he got away. What do you think about me bringing her over here? This world won't stand a chance. And the ensuing chaos will be something else."

"Chaos?" Gerik thought over who the voice could be. "I could be wrong, but would I happen to be talking to Samatar?"

"And here I thought you might not have recognized me."

"So what are you planning now Samatar?"

"Don't worry about that for now. Just keep on traveling. When the time comes, I shall reveal to you my plan."

"How unfortunate. Although I do wonder how you are traveling. You don't have Mokona like we do. And the warp portals I used aren't able to transcend dimensions like Mokona."

"Why don't you ask your dear Yuko? She knows more than you think, and she has several secrets of her own."

"Maybe. Just remember that if I see you I won't hold back."

Samatar laughed. "You won't see me for a while. Once I am prepared, we shall meet again. Until then, do your best to survive."

 

"Hey, let's get out of here!" yelled one of the thugs as they continue running in the direction they where headed, beaten and bruised.

Dune then looks up towards them, and across the street from them the girl was standing there watching. Dune Started waving to her, and she waved back in response. Suddenly, on of the thugs turned around and saw Dune waving at some one, but when he looks in the direction he is waving, he see's nothing.

"Who the blood hell is he waving at? Freaking Psycho's!" The thug keeps running away towards the rest of the Thugs.

The girls runs into the building right behind her, as if it was where she lived or worked. Dune didn't want to get her in trouble if it was where she worked, so he turned to Kane. "Thanks for the help, though I don't think they wouldn't have been too hard alone. Anyways, did you see where Gerik went?" Still not realizing that Kane and Kana can't understand him.
