    Shoto Kai was just sitting inside wondering what will happen to the world. He hoped it would end soon. "Damn, when will these monsters all vanish!? There's a limited amount, but they just keep coming! I just hope sooner or later the world will be saved," He thought to himself.

    "Dune!" Shoto Kai shouted. "Take my headgear for a while please." He took off his helmet to reveal medium-long brown hair. He was very young. "One of the Zombies scratched it while I was fighting. I need it repaired. Some of it's been chipped off.

    "My thanks," Ray says to the nameless man who'd helped him inside. That giant monstrosity. I need to kill it but I don't have the magic. There was also magic absorption, a spell casters technique of last resort. It involved intense meditation to synchronize the casters body with the environment around them. This enabled them to draw on the worlds background magic which equaled many times more than what a normal man could produce. The painful part came at the end of the technique because holding magic that didn't belong to you could cause some major confusion in a persons nervous system. In most cases the caster felt a great amount of pain just barely at the point were a normal person could handle it. In other cases whole limbs stopped functioning properly, and some limbs actually ceased to work altogether though not always permanently. Finally some people actually died as their brains suffered major damage from the back lash coming from their bodies. Most mages would rather die than attempt this, but Ray had done it twice before.

    Picking a spot he sat down with his legs crossed and began to concentrate. He wasn't going to take on this thing now but if he had to he would. Focusing his mind to a point beyond what most people could do, he brought his breathing lower, and his heart rate down. Soon he was in a trance like state and he could now feel the energy in the room and the energy from the world. This was the dangerous part for if he took power from another human being that human may die instantly. If he took in to much power from the world it could also kill him, though not immediately. Wild magic was dangerous to keep inside someone so he'd have to be sure he could get rid of all the magic he burrowed.

    Bracing himself, he opened himself up to the magic.

    Fern and Dune make make there way to the podium at the end of the room. Along the way Dune quickly notices Ray sitting down in the corner. Now what is he doing? Dune shrugged it off as they made there way to the podium.

    Suddenly, he notices Shoto throwing the helmet just in time. He stumbles around with it, bouncing around, but was caught high in the air above Dune's head. Though, it wasn't by Dune's hands. Dune turns, and Fist's the tank and Blacksmith, is holding the helmet above him. "Maby I should take this. You don't have the steady hand to fix this."

    "You make one sword shatter, and no one ever let's you fix a thing."

    "It was a sword made of Titanium Dune, you have to be skilled to shatter it."

    Dune opens his mouth to say something, but notices Fern is already at the Podium. "We can finish this later!" Rushes up behind Fern.

    Fern looks around the room and try's to get everyone's attention without prevail. He continues to try, but no one would be quite, till suddenly a gun shot is taken from behind him. It was Dune firing his Ice gun at the roof, creating an ice stalactite right above his head. This instantly gave full attention of everyone in the room to Fern and Dune.

    "Brutish, but it works." Said Dune as he blows off the magic remains from the top of the barrel.

    "Yes, well my name is Fern, and this Dune. We are with Teiko, an anti-undead group, in the pursuit of stopping Yami Katsu, or, as most of you know her, Anastasia. Her power is becoming more, and more powerful by the day, so we must find a way to get rid of her soon. Our base is set up in the forest of Dejund. It is protected by Charms and spells, so powerful, that even Anastasia herself can't breach it. We live high in the tree's away from any danger, just in case. We are here to ask you to join us. Do not worry, if you do not want to join, we will still save you and get you to our base, and once there we will give you food and charms to keep you till you can find another safe place. Now I warn you, joining won't be easy. We all work for our keep , but it is all rewarding and for a good cause. So, any questions?"

    Will stood heavily, magic still burning its way through his veins as he dropped his sword like a lead weight and clutched his rib. He felt every eye shift towards him and he felt like an animal in a cage, being studied by every eye in the room. As he groaned and shifted his way up towards the front of the room he grabbed his sword, the blade dragging it's way across the floor. When he reached the front he looked their leader dead in the face. "I have my demons, I have my secrets, but if you'll have me, I'm in." He growled, pain and anger driving him like it had for years now.

    Ray could feel the roar of the world, but something picked up by his ears called him back. He released the energy he was gathering, and awoke. Stumbling from disorientation, but quickly regaining his sense of balance, he stood. Thanking a few helpful people who were helping him to his feet, he looked over at the angry man reaking of darkness. He was signing himself up for helping these strangers. Ray found his calling.

    He strode forward next to the dark man, and said, "I'm in."

    After Ray and Will step forward, many others do as well until practically everyone was standing on there feet. "That's what I was wanting to see!" Said fern with a big smile on his face.

    "Awesome! Now we are one step closer to saving the world!"Yelled Dune as everyone cheered in a loud roar.

    Later that day after getting to know who is joining, only an hour after noon, Everyone was ready to move on out. With everyone moving this way and that, there was a bit of confusion, mixed in with hopefulness.

    "Ummm...Mr. Fern, you may want to come and see this!" Fist says looking out the window. Fern quickly makes his way over and looks out. The sky had become covered in clouds, and made the surrounding world dark as midnight, with only the lanterns illuminating weak light. As fern is wondering what to do in his head, Dune walks past and looks out, wondering what they are looking at.

    "Awwww....bugger..." Said Dune.

    "Yeah, but look who's coming." Said Fern as he pointed out into the woods as a small, faint light off in the distance. Slowly, the light gets closer and closer. Every now and then the light would get lost behind a tree in the forest, but would return brighter still.

    "What the devil...?" Said Fist.

    "That is our ride good man." said Fern. "I have to go out and meet them. Fist, Coon, Main, and Ray, Dawn a weapon and follow me! And Dune, help everyone to get ready and move out as soon as possible!" They rush outside, ready to meet the vehicle.
