"Okay, so today we are headed for the town Hokisa." Said Fern as he appeared in above the canvas of the forest. There after, a band of people appear dressed in Black robes, and as the last, Dune Makes his appearances next to Fern.

"You said we can see the town from up here, right?" Asked Dune as he looked out at the sight, only to see countless tree tops.

"Yes, If you look out in the distance, there is a hole in the cloaking of green. Will Owl, please give us a run down of the mission?"

A man in the back, skinny and swift, began to talk "While me and fox where out on reconosense, we came across a village with some more survivors. They haven't been set up there for long. It only makes sense that they are Nomads, Traveling from place to place. Never staying anywhere for long."

"Right, then we need to get there, and get there fast!" Said Fern as he dashes up into the air, and falls through the canopy upon his decent. Dune quickly nods and follows after. With the entire group rushing with them.

    >Ok, everyone make your post's introducing your characters. Wether you are with us, or one of the refugee's. I really don't want a big group already with us. The limit is two other people. And the rest will be refugees. The refugees will be keeping up fort in a town hall<

Will paced around in the town hall. Why did he have to be passing through right as this happened? On his way though a town as it gets attacked, getting him trapped in the town hall until it was over or they were attacked and he could get out in the battle. Most of the village people gave him strange looks as he strode into the town, eyes glowing from chaotic magic and a massive sword on his back. Yet he had not even been here five minutes and he was stuck here. He just only hoped noone here made him angry or the enemy wouldn't have to get in, a demon that was already among them would slaughter them.

Shoto Kait followed Dune and the group on their way to the village. he felt dishonorable that he had to kill things that were defenceless, as he is a samurai, but he did so in order to protect others. as he and the group neared the village, he asked aloud, "What shall we do when we reach the village? Are we going to be able to bring all the villagers to a safe place in great haste?"

"Let's just get this over with," Vain said apathetically as he back-flipped off of the tree and sped toward the ground. He landed on the ground in a somewhat graceful manner, repositioning his fedora so it slanted down and to his right. As they headed toward the target village, he heard Shoto's question and scowled, thinking to himself, Who cares? With any luck, Anastasia attacked the village and she's still there. Then I can end this. He didn't dare speak his thought, for it would assuredly get him kicked out of the group. "Just let Fern and Fox do the talking, we're just here for added labor support or fighting support."

"Everybody, hurry to the town hall," Ray said in a rush helping the rest into the building. He'd noticed the man with demonic eyes but hopefully he wouldn't try anything. With zombies already within ear shot he didn't want to do anything more than was necassary.

Ray had lived with the village for almost two months now, as he'd been traveling before. He liked the nomadic peoples and their ways so he'd remained longer than he'd wanted to at first to study how they did things. Nomads were quite self seficient and already some of the men and lesser spell casters were lining up with him to take a stand against the incoming horde.

After what seemed like an eternity the moaning from the tree line suddenly stopped, and then the zombies appeared lumbering forward with hands at their sides. From were he was standing, some forty yards away, Ray could feel the tortured souls being held into this terrible monstrosity of a form. All necromancers need to pay. Ray thought as he held his staff out in front of him. He began chanting as he drew a circle around himself, completing it with a star and several runes. The zombies were much closer now, almost twenty meters, but Ray just ignored them.

The other spell casters and warriors took a few steps away from him as he completed the circle. He stabbed his staff into the ground and instantly a blinding white light shot away from the staff forming a dome. It was like the zombies had hit a brick wall, and the ones to close had been vaporized. The other magic users began channeling their own energy into the barrier, taking up the strain.

"Hopefully we can hold out for a while now," Ray said as the warriors got their spears together. The weapons were quite mundane so they could go in and out of the barrier as they wanted.

Will noticed the mage watching him and it set him on edge, bringing memories back from when he had been experimented on with Magic. But even so, these people had been kind enough to let him stay while the attack was happening so he at least had to help them. As he strode forward next to the mage he drew his large sword and asked. "How many are coming?" He slowly lowwered himself and readied to fight off the creatures that had been keeping them locked there for almost a week.

Shoto Kai noticed a bright light being launched into the sky from the village. He moved ahead of the others and noticed that mages and a warrior were fighting off Zombies.

"I'll assist in this battle!" Shoto Kai shouted as he drew both his Katanas and began slicing off the heads from the zombies.

As they get up on the town, the shield is already up, and the zombies are falling appart as they touch the lighted Dome.

"Ok, Me and Dune will go around the town and set up a fence. The rest of you, get into the barrier and calm the people. You should have no trouble getting through the barrier." Said Fern as he came to one of the last tree's as Dune comes up next to him. "Dune, I need half of the cleansing tags!"

"Ok, here you go." Hands him about 30 kunai's with tags on the end with Kanji Characters written on them.

Fern then tosses 3 to everyone. "These Kunai's are to be used in emergencies! If the Kunai touches a zombie, the dark magic will fail, and make them fall appart permenatly. But it can only be used once, so use them with care!" Said Fern. "Dune, Let's go, we are going to set up the Lanturns around the town center!"

"Ok, I will take the south and west sides!" Pulls out two small lanturns that expand as he takes them out. The lanturns had 清潔 on each slide which means cleansed. Dune dashes off the limb off on top of the building with Fern right behind him.

Vain caught the kunai without looking, apparantly annoyed, "Emergency my hide," he muttered before putting the kunai in his coat pocket. Vain walked into the barrier and into the crowd of screaming people. The people reminded Vain of chickens, running about in a panic, not sure of what to do. "Settle down!" Vain shouted, but no one heard over the screams. Very annoyed now, Vain took out a gun and shot it in the air, the noise quieting most, if not all the people. "Now," Vain began, looking about the now silent crowd, "You," he said pointing to one individual in the crowd, "Is there a town shelter here?"
"Y-Yes sir," the man stuttered, "The town hall also serves as a shelter," he concluded, pointing to a rather crudely made building.
"Alright then, everyone who can't fight get inside there," Vain ordered. No one moved, "MOVE IT!" Vain roared. Shaken and frightened, the people who could not fight moved toward their 'shelter.'

  10. Ven wasn't quite sure what was happening, first he was walking through town with his best friend Will, then he was grabbed and dragged into town hall. "Hey Will, why'd they drag us in here? It's boring here, I want to fight something!" He jumped up onto the ledge near the window and sat waiting for excitement. Ven leaned over near Will and whispered, "who is that guy he looks weird, and old.." Ven changed shape and took on Will's form and leaned against the wall and drew his sword.

OOC: When Ven takes on someone elses form he gets their weapon, looks, and abilities, but his voice stays his own, In his Demon form his voice is much deeper and he enjoys watching his victims suffer.

    >Sorry about that guys, I have been sick for the last two weeks, and I am just now feeling good enough to do anything. Also, let's just take it as though Roxal is out for now. I will try and fins someone to delete or edit his post for me. Ok, so with that done, let's breathe life back into this Rp. *Inhale* *Exhale* *Inhale* *Exhale* In...hale* *Ex...hale* *In...........*Faints*<

Dune sets up the last of his Lanterns as a faint light eliminates a wide radius of the town completely covering the town hall, connecting to the other two lanterns on the opposite sides of the building. "There, now to go help and calm the people." Dune dashes from the back of the building to the front where the mages where standing guard. "Hey, you guys! Come inside the town hall, the lanterns will keep us safe for a while, we need to have a meeting!" Dune waited and watched, letting them go in before him. He looked out and noticed that the zombies where collapsing as they touched the light dome from the lanterns.

"Don't let the charms fool you." Dune looked up towards the person speaking, and it was Fern up on top of the building. "Cursed magic can't pass this barrier!" Fern jumps down right next to Dune and whispers in his ear. "Between you and me, I didn't know if this would work or not. I just took the general idea from the Charms we use, and added an amplified light."

"Kind of dangerous to use as a trial run, don't you think."

"Well, it's working, quite well I might add. Set up Furin's if you feel uncomfortable."

    "Nah, it's fine."

After all the citizens had safely gone into the town hall, Vain approached Fern and Dune. "Everybody who can't fight is safely inside," he said. Vain looked around, "How is the situation?" He took a couple steps away and then looked back, a sharp chip on his shoulder, "Now if you hope for me to help you any further, you will tell me: What are we doing here? There's no sense putting us in unneeded danger," he said, looking to the advancing undead.

Shoto Kai was still outside, after everyone got to the safe area. "Foul beasts. I shal kill all of you and send you back to hell" He shouted. He then left the barrier and began killing the zombies.

Will started out to help the people fighting, feeling the light magic burn him as he stepped through the barrier with a growl. His whole body felt on fire as his sword slid into the dirt and he dropped to his knees for a second. He the heard a zombie sprinting towards him and he grabbed his sword, spinning towards the creature before the large sword split it down the middle. Right before the sword hit the ground Will spun, shooting lightning towards a few zombies that were sprinting towards the shield. Yet this small burst of magic made him roar like an angered animal because it increased the pain from the barrier tenfold. He then lifted his sword in front of him, readying to fight with just the blade so his demons did not unleash themselves.

"Hey!" Yelled Fern to Will and Shoto. "Get inside the building, the lanturns will hold them off! Just get inside! This is no time to be the hero!" Fern ran out to the edge of the barrier. "Come on!"

Dune turns to Vain "It's not like you where forced to do this, but it looks like the lanturns will hold them off, at least for the time being. Or mission right now, is to get all the people in there..."Points to the town hall. "...Off to our headquarters! We have permeanate tags hung up there, that can keep everyone safe. Now you need to get inside as well. Once Me and Fern find all the survivors, we will be back in there. Now go!" Dashes towards Fern in the intent to help him out.

    >Thank you so much guys for coming back! I'm really excited about this Rp, and hope it will go well.<

My barrier. To many people coming in and out. To many people with magic. Ugh. Everyone human being has some degree of magic, so the constant stream of people entering and leaving his barrier was taking a tole. Suddenly a huge crack appeared on the shield, and then another. Soon many large and small cracks were criss crossing the barrier. "BLAST!" The barrier shattered.

Now that the zombies had nothing to hold them back they began to stream forward. With enough villagers and warriors holding them back, Ray turned to his method of last resort, The Art of Construction. Quickly he used a stick to draw a large pentagram around him, making especially sure that every line was straight when needed. He then painstakingly drew symbols in each of the five quadrants in the star shaped area within the circle. At last he reached the center point, drawing the following symbols at each corner: Light, Life, Creation, Purification, and Divinity. The symbols he'd done before were Construction, Deconstruction, Material, Energy, and Creation.

"Now for the final touch." Opening a pouch at his side he pulls out a lump of pure silver, a lump of pure gold, and a lump of pure iron. Placing these within the pentagram he jumps out, and pures magical energy into it. The symbols light up and the three materials float into the air, then mash together. They grow quickly, forcing neutrons, protons, and electrons together to create more Iron, Silver, and Gold atoms to aid in expansion. Finally the construct is complete. A large statue holding a sword stands were the circles center was. A collusus, or man of metal, was something any first year mage could make. The trick was to get the bloody thing to move, and thankfully a large amount of magic was always left over from the creation of such things. While they can only remain for a short time, the damage they could do to, say, a hoard of zombies was immense. "Collusus of Light."

The collusus's eyes light up and it lumbers forward making the ground shake. It bends over, picks up the fighters in one enermous hand, and swings around to place them out of the way. Turning back as the zombies begin pounding it's feet uselessly, it brings the sword above it's head, and then brings it crashing down. The light released from the blast hit home at the zombies that had avoided getting crushed, blasting apart the Art of Necromancy circles engraved on them. The zombies, with no magic to hold them together, collapsed into dust.

The Collusus, its job done, broke apart as Ray felt the large drain on his body. "Ngh," was all he managed as he falls to the ground. He managed to hold onto his conciousness but he knows that moving is way out of the cards. "Don't mind me," he grunts, "I'll just lie here for a while."

    >Note Creation in the outer area is used in the sense of creating something. Creation in the inner part is used in the sense of Light creating specifically life.<

Will growled angrily from the amount of light magic that was burning him from the creation of the collosus. As he hefted the man over his left shoulder and swinging with his sword in his right hand sloppily, cutting down one of the few remaining zombies as he slowly stumbled towards the town hall. As he reached the town hall's entrance his skin had splotchy burn looking marks on it as he fell to his knees, collapsing in the doorway heavily, his sword sliding a little on the wood floor of the hall. He felt the man roll off his shoulders as he hit face down on the wood, vision slowly blackening around the sight of three men coming towards the hall, asking questions to the survivors that were still up and walking. As he was about to try and speak he felt himself black out.

Fern looks over, and notices that Ray is outside of the barrier, that reached a good 20 feet from the building on all sides. "Crap!" Fern rushes towards Ray, and helps him walk back into the barrier. "What are you doing outside the Dome? The lanturns will keep us safe. They are endowed with a special magic seal, breaking down the dark magic. And-" A loud roar comes from behind them. "Umm...What ever you do don't look back." They enter the force feild as the creature emerges from inside the woods. It's a giant monstrous being, in the form of a very large man. The think tried to penetrate the barrier, but as it slammed the shield, a burn appeared on it's hand, and it drew backwards in pain. "It should hold, but no more than an hour or so with that thing out there. Now come on, we need to get inside." Fern looks up at Dune who is trying to help. "Dune! I need you to help that man in the door way, then hang a Furin at the door way. If the Laturns barriers break to early, The Furins will give us some time to figure out how to get out. Go!"

"Y-yes sir!" Dune runs over and helps Will and the other men into the building, and walks back outside, as Fern carries Ray inside. He pulls a glass Chime with an empty tag hanging from the bottom. Fern quickly writes a Kanji like letter on it that translates out to "Protection", and hangs it on the door post outside. All of a sudden a kind of light pass through the building walls and dissappears. "There, now anyone not invited in, shall not pass." Dune looks out at the giant monster pacing back and forth waiting for the right moment to attack. "Hopefully, that means everyone." Dune walks inside and closes the door behind him.

    >Ok, if you haven't gotten yourself inside, your inside now. Just take it as though you got in during these last post's<

Syrick was walking in the town until he came to a area swollen with zombies. He pulled out two guns and a caramel candy from his backpack. "Time to go back to hell." He started shooting huge blasts of energy while chewing on the caramel candy. "Die..." he shot a zombie through the head before coming to city hall. "Hey !!!" he yelled to a few people he saw in some sort of barrier.

    >He said you are inside dude but what ever.<

"My thanks," Ray says to the nameless man who'd helped him inside. That giant monstrosity. I need to kill it but I don't have the magic. There was also magic absorption, a spell casters technique of last resort. It involved intense meditation to synchronize the casters body with the environment around them. This enabled them to draw on the worlds background magic which equaled many times more than what a normal man could produce. The painful part came at the end of the technique because holding magic that didn't belong to you could cause some major confusion in a persons nervous system. In most cases the caster felt a great amount of pain just barely at the point were a normal person could handle it. In other cases whole limbs stopped functioning properly, and some limbs actually ceased to work altogether though not always permanently. Finally some people actually died as their brains suffered major damage from the back lash coming from their bodies. Most mages would rather die than attempt this, but Ray had done it twice before.

Picking a spot he sat down with his legs crossed and began to concentrate. He wasn't going to take on this thing now but if he had to he would. Focusing his mind to a point beyond what most people could do, he brought his breathing lower, and his heart rate down. Soon he was in a trance like state and he could now feel the energy in the room and the energy from the world. This was the dangerous part for if he took power from another human being that human may die instantly. If he took in to much power from the world it could also kill him, though not immediately. Wild magic was dangerous to keep inside someone so he'd have to be sure he could get rid of all the magic he burrowed.

Bracing himself, he opened himself up to the magic.
