Well, I do not know much about this class but I do know that it is of them that it is fun to learn enemies abilities. That is how I see it and it is my favorite color. the best thing about them is that they average in stats, so they are ok to play as you can control and affect the battlefield. Just like the others, which character did you feel represents the blue mage class the best?

i never paid attention to wizards. i would have to say Kimari. btw isn't Vivi a wizard?

Vivi is a black mage. Therefore, he cannot be listed under blue mage. That big, female blue thing named Quina is the blue mage.

Anyways, I hardly use Kimari. He is more like a freelancer to me. Actually, the gun mage dressphere used by the Gullwings is better than Kimari. Even so, I have to say Quistis. She is a good blue mage for me and I can always use Degenerator to get any battle to end quicker. ^.^

I voted Kimahri because I think his skills were easiest to come across and probably if I added up all the time I used all of these characters, I used him most often. However, Strago and Quistis were also good, Quina came in handy once in a while, and the gun mage dressphere was nice against some tougher fiends in places like the Via Infinito.

I suppose the best example of a traditional blue mage would be Strago. He was cool, like old guys are in FFs, but I think in game I found more use for Kimahri, particularly when doing a challenge game.

DX But Kimari...he...ugh. He lacks attack power than Quistis. That is my opinion but I guess that is because I chose as to who he should style as and I did not have him style after Auron.

What's nice about Quistis is that you don't have to decide what to do with her. Her stats rose on their own, and in that way, she is an easier character to play than Kimahri. She also had some pretty good blue magic, particularly degenerator. I loved that when it came time to waste Malboros. But Kimahri's blue magic (while it sucked you couldn't access it all the time) came in really handy at times when strategy was necessary for me (like using Stone Breath on the Guado Guards the first time you face Seymour) and in other instances when I was stuck (especially in my No Sphere Grid game). He was needed more by me than Quistis. I can kill Malboros without her, she just makes it easier.
