This is good; a different kind of Dissidia?

Square-Enix Dissidia seems likely now. He only meant the Final Fantasy Dissidia series. Also he said it may be in a different form. A console version?

It's not the end; its just the beginning. It may be delayed for a long time though.

I don't buy it for one second thinking dissidia is over. I do game development and what the developer said about nothing they could do with the battle mechanics is absolute cr**. I can happily list a ton of things they could do

More Power Ups appears on the field like
-Gravity Globe-Removes 1/2 of the opponent's bravery points
    -Healing Crystal-Recovers 10% of the player's HP

Can have team modes where two players and two opponents fight
Can have single player team modes
A "They keep on coming" mode
Actual Summons like Yuna's rather than image summons
    Grinding acceleration

And that's just some of my ideas. Not to mention I know a Game Dever's mind. They WON'T give up a great franchise. They didn't do it for Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts. Dragon Quest too

that would be a little hard. It'd take a TON of time too. But that would be awesome XD

I call BS on this. The sequel will sell and make a lot of money for them and they'll want to cash in. I notice in the (first) article that while at first it says "There is no next", Nomura then backtracks and says that they're "thinking about ending this pattern of Dissidia here."

VentusSearcher Steam is the only way....

Im not a huge fan of the first Dissadia game, so Im not dissapointed if they actuelly don't make another Dissadia game, but Dissadia 012 is gonna have Lightning in it, and that sure seems interesting. It just may boost my thoughts about the Dissadia franchise.

I to this day am still having a hell of a lot of fun and use out of the first Dissidia. Never gets old for me. So much to do on it. To tell you the truth i was really only expecting one sequel, and that's really for the best. There isn't much more they can get out of this gameplay engine right now. No need for another franchise to get milked.
