Dune looked at Kane as he freaked out on Mokona. Guess I should have warned Mokona or something. It was really only imenent that this was to happen. Poor...guy?...thing?...Eh, Mokona is Mokona."Mhm..."Walks up to the bar and grabs one of the Juices and proceeds to drink. Once he get's about half of the cup empty, he continues with "We really couldn't do or find much. The fog was way too thick for us to see through. Though, I did find this awesome top!" Pulls out a little top that has a monkey sitting on a top as he holds a banana in the air. It was about the size of a shot glass. Dune places the tip on the counter and spins it. It spins across the bar over to Kane.

"I hope we will be able to find this missing person."

All this time and all he found was a top? Aloud he said, "Well I have a general direction of my target. We will have to wait for Gerrik to return before we rule anything out. I've had to track targets before so I may be able to find him on scant information only." Kane was good at emotionless killing. If you didn't act as if the one you were hunting was a person it was that much easier. Kane doubted Dune could do it.

Gerik entered the tavern, seeing that the others were already there. "Wonderful." He made sure his eye spell wasn't active when he entered. "Oh hey, cool top." He chuckled a little at seeing Dune's top. "Anyways, do I have a story to tell you. Let's get a booth. Getting even a little privacy wouldn't hurt." Gerik walked over to one of the booths near the corner of the tavern. "Okay. So, just a refresher. Kana and Darmeth are here in this world. Kana managed to escape Darmeth for a little bit. And they're practically hiding in plain view. Awesome."

Gerik waited for the others to be seated. "Soooo... As I found out, Kana and Darmeth are here in this city. Turns out Kana escaped Darmeth for a little bit. Some family took care of her, but then Darmeth came and took her away. They've been hiding in the 1st circle. The suprising thing about that is they should have been caught by now, considering that the 1st circle is the center of this place's government and is always closed once the sun goes down. I'm assuming that there is some underground labrynth or something that allows them to stay there without being caught."

    >Denki I am skipping you until you get back.<

"That would sound like Darmeth. He was always big on choosing his confrontations. We won't be able to attack him until he wants us to. That's a big disadvantage to our selves since he will always be able to choose the ground we meet him on. However he may not be aware that you guys are with me so we might be able to take him off guard. Maybe." Kane looked around at the other patrons as he said this, senses alert for anyone suspicious.

    >Sorry, weekend with out a computer<

Walks over to the booth and scoots in on the opposite side of the table and get's situated with Mokona jumping on the table with a glass of Juice in his paws, as he begins to moap. "Well then, sounds like we need to play on our greatest advantage. If he doesn't know about use, then it is very possible we can 'surprise' him." Dune thinks for a second and comes to a realization that this may be someone that is diffrent than most people. Though, from never reading the folder, he can't be fully sure. "You two know more about this person than myself, do you think it could work? Like a possible jumping?"

"I'm certain he's aware of us." Gerik spoke. "That fog that's blanketed the city today. It's too unnatural for it to be anything aside Darmeth. And since out of the three of us, you Kane are the only recognizable one to him. So I'm willing to bet that he's aware of Dune and I, only that he doesn't know what we can do. That'll be how we get him. I'm certain he's keeping an eye out for all of us, so we're just going to have to wait for Darmeth to decide where any fight will take place." Gerik thought over some things on how to get the drop on Darmeth. "If we need to, we can show off a small bit of what we can do. If Darmeth sees, then he'll get an idea that whatever it is we are showing off is what we can do. And then we have a whole reserve of other abilites he won't know about."

"So in other words you make yourselves look pathetically weak so he won't view you as a threat. Then when he comes at you guys I take him out and if I lose you have a good chance of beating him." This one is pretty smart. I don't know about Dune but Gerrik has some tactical finesse. "Well I guess that's the plan then. A good one to, I'll drink to it." Kane raised his drink then knocked it back.

Leans back in his seat and looks up at the ceiling "Great way to phrase it." Looks at Gerik, then looks over at Kane. "So we can do, one of two thing as I see it now. We can either start up a "Gang" Fight, so to speak, with some local idiots, or we could fight each other, excreting a small amount of energy, or low weapon ability, and trick him into, not only thinking we are weak, but that we are also Fatigue."

I sure hope they like what I say... "I think fighting each other is a better Idea, mostly because we can control the fight personally. The only thing is we will need to do some convincing acting to get him to believe us."

"My acting skills leave something to be desired. Besides Aura users can read intent, and unless we are discharging some killing intent he won't buy the ruse. Fighting some local idiots would be the best option in that sense because we wouldn't be held back by any feelings of comradery against the ones we are fighting." He smiled to himself. "And I know just the place we can find some fresh meat to. That is, if you all agree with the plan."

"I am for the Idea, on one condition. You can't kill the people we fight. Leave them to the Government here." I really wasn't for this idea, because I haven't a clue what kind of restraint these guys have. I can't have senseless death from a rat trap scenario. "So, if you two agree to that, where is this place you are thinking about.

Mokona waddles over to Dune and jumps on his shoulder.

    >Sorry, didn't know Desert Warrior asked to skip.<

    >There's always that villain question I've been asking.<

"No promises Dune." Gerik said. "If somebody accidentally dies, then it happens. Although if we're gonna fake being weak, it shouldn't be too hard to not kill somebody. I'm fine with the plan, but if it's required I'll kill somebody."

Outside it began to rain. Any citizen who was out on the streets at that time all hurried to their homes, trying to stay dry.

Gerik realized just how empty the tavern was. There was the woman singing on stage, and a few people who were sitting at the bar. Nobody really paid attention to anybody else.

"I doubt the need will come for a death, but make sure it is worth while to do so. And what about you, Kane? What do you say to it?" Kane's really the one I am worrying the most about. I feel as though he can go over board quicker then the rest of us...

Mokona looks around and notices the woman singing on the stage. He start's starring at her intently, and really looks like he is really enjoying the song. Mokona takes another drink, as he continues to listen to the lady.

    >Are you talking about this Rp, or another...I'm kind of confused...XD Sorry<

    >YAY IT LIVES. Maybe next world Des. I plan on throwing darmeth out here, or at least make him vanish till way later. Kane will get his gf back but they wont get home for quite some time.<

What will I do? Kane asked himself, aware of everyone's eyes on him. Will I actually kill in cold blood just to flush this creep out? He toyed with the idea in his mind, but threw it out eventually. "I won't kill until I have to. The next person to die by my blade will be Darmeth himself." And our fight will at least attract him to us. He stood up saying, "Let's go to it. I got a good idea on were to start."

With that he walked back outside into the rain, not really caring if no one followed him. It was a good day for someone to die most certainly. The rain would keep blades from getting to bloody, and it would also increase Darmeths abilities. Regardless Kane was going to kill him, even if it took his own life to finish the job off. He began running back towards the inner rings, jumping onto roof tops in order to go over the gates. Darmeth, I'm coming for you.

Meanwhile Darmeth was preparing himself for combat, stretching his limbs to make them more limber. "Your beloved is coming to his death, and all for you. Tell me does that not make your heart swell with joy for his devotion to you?"

Kana, who had several cuts and bruises on her body as a testament to her recapture, just stared at him with hate in her eyes. Her tattered clothing swayed slightly in the breeze as Darmeth opened the door and took a step outside the warehouse. "Beautiful. The rain fills me with inner power. I think you will enjoy this fight Kana, for once Kane is dead you will be mine forever."

    "I won't ever love you."

Darmeth's cheerful looked was suddenly replaced by a look of contempt. He warp stepped over to her side and punched her in the side of her head. "Remember this you will be mine regardless. If you can't keep a kind tongue in your head I will rip it out. Now be silent and come watch your beloved Kane die." With that he took off her chains, then dragged her out the door.

Gerik went outside to follow Kane. He looked at the new rainfall. "I've never tried my sand manipulation in the rain. I wonder if this rain will have an effect on my sand. Will I be able to move it around like normal? Or will I just move around a ball of mud?" Gerik saw Kane jump over rooftops. "Damn. Impressive jumps. I can't do that without a little help." Gerik quickly shot up a column of the earth below his feet, propelling him to where Kane was a moment ago. "Anyways, to bring out the big fish we use myself and Dune as bait. What spells should I keep hidden? Eye of Horus is an obvious one, especially since Dune and Kane don't know about it yet. Earthquake will be a good finisher if I end up having to kill Darmeth. And without controlling it I'll probably tear this city in half. Sandstorm might not help in anyway during a fight. Don't want to risk sand manipulation. I could teleport, but that'll be something left to surprise everybody with. Creature of Set is useless here, unless Darmeth has some pet. Wrath of Osiris is obviously a last ditch technique. So all that leaves is my stone spikes for usable spells for Darmeth to observe before the battle."

Dune grabs Mokona and rushes out of the room. Mokona was holding onto the glass intently, but finally broke his grip half-way through, and it fell to the ground. Surprisingly it didn't shatter as they rush through the doorway. They walk outside just as Gerik pushed himself up on top of the roof.

"Can't get anywhere without my Electric ability, so I guess it and the sword are the only things I'm going to use." Dune hides his guns, and his knifes under his cloak, and then in a flash Dune and Mokona where gone in a bright flash of light, as they traveled high over Gerik forward on towards Kane. They follow in zig-zag pattern, keeping directly above the streets, high enough to get past the gates.

Kane didn't get much farther than the 7th ring when he suddenly felt a crushing amount of energy. Without thinking he jumped extra high to evade a blast of water energy. "What the hell?" When he landed he looked over to an adjacent roof. There stood Darmeth with his sword out, smiling. The weapon looked like a rapier with thorns decorating the hilt. "Darmeth!"

"What did you actually think I didn't consider your little plan to lure me out? That would only be necessary if I didn't feel like fighting you. I really do actually want to fight you so you should be thankful I've shown up."

Kane shook his head, then assumed his stance. Holding out his right hand he said, "Dance Rai!" a small whirl wind extended from his open hand and his sword appeared. Kane didn't hesitate, but charged right in jumping the gap over to Darmeth and unleashing a series of power strikes to knock him off guard. Darmeth blocked all of them flawlessly.

"Come on Kane I know you can do better. Fight me like you did in that alley way. I know, maybe you just need a little motivation." He jumps back, then back flips even further then cuts a tarp down that was erected around the houses chimney. Inside is Kana tied to the roof with a gag in her mouth. Darmeth draws his sword slowly across her shoulder, then cuts a strap holding her shirt up. "Pretty isn't she?"

Kane bellows with rage and lunges forward into another series of high speed power blows actually forcing Darmeth back. "THAT'S MORE LIKE IT!" Darmeth cackles as he lunges into his own attack pattern driving Kane back step by step. A constant ringing rises from their swords as they attack and defend faster than most people could even see. Each weapon is a complete blur as each man tries to get an advantage over the other. Finally they seperate.

"Burst forth and consume, Shin Rio!"

"Dance on silent wings, Rai Den!"

Both swords exploded with energy as they transformed into their released forms. Kane held his daggers pointed out away from his body, and Darmeth held his newly formed long epi pointed out at Kane. With a bellow the two of them rushed forward to clash their weapons together.

    >Putting a pause in my fight so your characters can have some input.<

"Dune." Gerik shouted as he looked up at Dune. "Get over there and help Kane. I'll be over there as soon as I can. Just be extremely careful. Kane might not notice you." Gerik quickly turned in Kana's direction. "Figured I'd eventually have to show off my spells to these guys." In an instant, Gerik's body disappeared. It looked like his body was just blown away in the wind, turning into many tiny particles.

Gerik's body then appeared right next to Kana. "I'm guessing you're Kane's lucky lady. I'll have you free in just a moment." Gerik reached behind him and pulled out his knife. The black blade looked almost unreal. There was absolutely no light shining off of it, no reflection coming off of it. Gerik cut off the gag on Kana's mouth. Gerik quickly examined the chain that kept Kana tied to the chimney. "Good. Simple iron." Gerik sheathed his knife and unsheathed one of his swords. He swung down at the chain. His blade easily cut through the chimney and the chain, freeing Kana.

    >Skipping Dune cause it's been two days.<

Tossing one knife to his other hand, he assumes a stance with one blade behind his back and his dominant one in front of him. "Looks like i don't have to worry."

    "Oh? And Why is that?"

"Because Gerik managed to free Kana."

Darmeth started, then turned around to see Gerik taking off with Kana. "THAT BASTARD! TAKING MY PROPERTY!"

Darmeth start to go after him but kane suddenly blocks his path. "We aren't done yet."

"Fine then you will die, then that man will die, then I will retake Kana for my own."

Kane and Darmeth start fighting again, Kane becoming a whirl wind of movement while Darmeth dodges and blocks his attacks. Both are hard pressed to get an advantage over the other. Kane realizes this first and unleashes a air disc at his opponent, which catches Darmeth off guard. He recieves a large cut on his left arm, and jumps back clutching it. "Screw this. Now, I will show you the difference in our powers! Final Release!"

Instantly a wave of energy surrounds Darmeth, and his weapon begins to glow. It thickens into a rod like shape that also seems to bend. When the energy disipatates he is holding a rose vine covered in thorns. The vine is actualy a chain blade, but moves more like a whip. "Shin Rio Dikeno." Darmeth smiles widely. "Now do you see the difference? I have achieved the final release. I doubt you could have done so."

"That's were your wrong Darmeth." Darmeth looks surprised at Kane's icily calm tone. "That's how it is with people like you. So conceited and self cenetered. Thinking you are some kind of god who can use his powers any way he wants." Kane shifts his blades into his right hand holding them together. "So pathetically self centered it makes me sick. You want a god? Let me show you the next best thing. Final Release." The wind around Kane whips around into a Tornado, crushing the house beneath them. Thankfully no one is in it, but Darmeth has to jump off in order to avoid certain destruction.

    "What the?"

The tornado suddenly bursts apart to reveal Kane holding a white Katana about as long as his arm. The blade is snow white and pure up to the hilt. The hilt is wrapped in black cloth that ends in a short ribbon fluttering in the breeze. "Shinkirou Odorite Rai Den."

"What is that thing your holding!?"

"I told you. This is my final release. Bow before a true god, Darmeth." Suddenly Kane vanishes only to appear on either side of Darmeth.

Darmeth whirls around bringing his blade around in a circle to drive the clones away, but Kane only changes position now appearing as three. "What's the matter?" the clones say at the same time. "I thought you were going to kill me? Could it be that you can't keep up? A pity." Suddenly Kane is right in front of Darmeth, running through a series of impossibly fast strikes. Darmeth leaps away, sending his whip crashing down on Kane's head but Kane isn't there when the weapon comes down.

Now Kane has split into seven attacking figures, each vanishing after each strike until the last one slams his weapon into Darmeths open side, and sending him flying back into the ground. Kane holds his sword over his head, summoning his energy to create a arc of wind in the weapon. With a roar he brings it down sending a blade of pure wind down at his opponent. Darmeth dodges aside narrowly, and begins whipping his weapon through the air to encase Kane.

Kane jumps out of the arc, and lands down next to Darmeth who is now desperately trying to get his weapon back. "To late for you." Kane seperates into thirteen forms, his maximum, and each slices into Darmeth. Darmeth gasps, and drops his weapon as he falls to his knees. "No. How could this happen? I was promised the powers of a god!"

"You are no god Darmeth, nor am I. We are simply gifted humans. The only difference is that you decided to abuse your gift. What a pity." Kane drops his sword down to Darmeths neck.

"Please, have mercy! I will change! I promise!"

"Darmeth, the only mercy you are being granted is a swift death. Good bye." Darmeth's head falls before he can utter a scream. "That is the beauty of Rai Den. A weapon that drives from the shadows and strikes with the speed of the wind killing all it attacks silently." Kane turns and walks away as Darmeths body and sword begin to fade away. "Such a merciful end to such a disgusting being. You will not be remembered." Kane's sword returns to normal, then vanishes.

"Ain't that just something?" Gerik said, making one long whistling noise as he watched Kane's attack. "Well, I guess I'll let you get back to Kane. I can only imagine what you're feeling right now." Gerik turned away from facing Kana. "Where's Mokona?" He looked around for Dune and Mokona. He then saw the two. "Hey Mokona!" He shouted. "Call up Yuko for me. I know Kane's gonna want Kana to travel with us, so I might as well see what conditions she has for her to join us."

    >Currently unknown villain post now.<

A stranger watched the battle from a good distance away. He was too far away for anybody to see him, but he could see and hear everything perfectly. "Oh Darmeth. You should have realized you could never become a god. A simple mortal such as yourself didn't have a chance." He quietly clapped his hands, as if cheering for Kane. "I suppose I'll stop leading you three around by using her." The stranger focused his attention on Dune. "Now I believe it is your reason for traveling that shall drag the group around."
